      人文学相关学科的学术发展起源很早,但直到1975年后人文学者的信息需求才开始受到注意。本研究探索中文系教师之信息需求、信息寻求以及信息使用模式,也希望了解随着科技进步,数字化与网络化的资源普及,中文系教师的信息行为是否也因应大环境的不同而有变化。研究结果显示:中文系教师极为重视一次资料,在教学上主要所需资源为教科书,而研究上主要所需资源依序为自己的、图书馆的、网络上的数据;其信息寻求渠道包括私人藏书、个人人脉、图书馆、网络/电子资源等,在信息寻求阶段最常遇到的困难是资料原文取得不易;图书与期刊论文是中文系教师最常引用的数据类型,且中文数据为最大宗;他们认同网络资源的方便性,但也强调其仍有很多错误,因此尚无法取代传统的印刷式资源。表5。参考文献17。
英文摘要:
The humanities related academic activities have a long history, but not until 1975 did their scholars’ information behaviors start being concerned. This study explores faculty’s information needs, information seeking, and information use in the Department of Chinese Literature at Fu Jen Catholic University. The study also examines whether their information behaviors change in response to the environment change in terms of the scientific and technological progress and the easy access to the internet and other electronic resources. The result of this study shows that faculty in the Department of Chinese Literature emphasizes on primary resources. They think that the major resource for teaching is textbooks, whereas the major resources for research are themselves, libraries, and the web. Their channels for gathering information include personal collection, personal network of contacts, the library, and web or other electronic resources. The commonly faced difficulty in information seeking is to obtain the original documents. Monographs and journal articles are types of materials that Chinese literature faculty cites the most, among which those that are written in Chinese rank first. They admit the convenience of web resources, but stress at the same time that many errors exist in web resources. Therefore web resources can’t replace the traditional printed materials yet. 5 tabs. 17 refs.
