| 摘 要： | 英汉称谓用语涉及诸多方面, 从跨文化交际的角度对其进行研究是一种较为可行的办法。其中, 面子理论已融入东西方文化影响下的称谓用语中, 该理论在英汉称谓用语中的实现问题值得探讨。根据Scollon 的划分, 可以分别从权力、距离、强加程度这三个构成面子理论(或礼貌体系) 的要素来分析英汉称谓用语在实现面子理论中的相似之处以及差异。

| Abstract: | English and Chinese forms of address are related to many factors, so studying them from a cross-cultural communication perspective will be rational. Among many relevant theories, the face theory has already rooted in the forms of address in two disparate cultures, and it is quite worth researching on the realization of the face theory in English and Chinese forms of address. According to Scollon's division of face theory (or politeness system), the similarities and differences of the realization of politeness theory in English and Chinese forms of address can be discussed from the three main factors relatively power, distance, and weight of imposition . |
