Semi-open heat pipes were studied experimentally in this work. A new kind of semi-open heat pipe with fluid swirl backflow was developed on the basis of the traditional semi-open heat pipe. Heat transfer characteristics during operation and start-up of closed heat pipe traditional semi-open heat pipe and swirl flow semi-open heat pipe were investigated. The swirl orifice's backflow effect on enhancing the working limitation was obtained. Heat exchangers or waste heat boilers made of swirl flow semi-open heat pipes and semi-open heat pipes have been successfully used in high or variable gas temperature engineering applications.  相似文献

Arrangement strategy of ground heat exchanger with groundwater   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
The orientation strategy of side pipe and the heat transfer performance of six ground heat exchangers(GHEs) were optimized by numerical simulation,with soil being treated as a porous medium.An experiment on the heat transfer of four GHEs was carried out in 2010.Results indicate that the velocity field is disturbed by GHEs.The optimal orientation strategy of side pipe is that the upward pipe is located upstream and the downward pipe downstream.The space between GHEs should be appropriately adjusted,depending on the direction and flow velocity.Groups of GHEs should be installed perpendicular to the mainstream in a single row,but if the acreage does not meet the requirements,GHEs should be installed in staggered multiple rows.Fewer GHEs parallel to the mainstream strengthen the heat transfer.Moreover,numerical results agree well with the test data,with the maximum relative error being less than 7.7%.  相似文献

An experimental system was set up to measure the temperature, pressure, heat transfer rate and mass flow rate in a semi-open two-phase thermosyphon. The behaviors of a semi-open two-phase thermosyphon during startup, shutdown and lack of water were studied to get complete understanding of its thermal characteristics. The variation of wall temperature, heat-exchange condition and pressure fluctuations of semi-open two-phase thermosyphons showed that the startup of SOTPT needs about 60-70 min; the startup speed of SOTPT is determined by the startup speed of the condensation section; the average pressure in the heat pipe is equal to the environmental pressure usually; the shutdown of SOTPT needs about 30~50 min; a semi-open two-phase thermosyphon has good response to lack of water accident.  相似文献

The experimental performance of small-sized ground-coupled heat pump (GCHP) is researched intensively. However, there are little data documenting the operation performance of existing large-sized GCHP system. We presented the actual performance measurement of a GCHP installed for apartment buildings in Wuhan, Hubei province, P. R. China. The system was constructed with a closed vertical typed ground heat exchanger with a total pipe length of 32 000 m. During one year, various operating parameters were monitored, including the outdoor temperature, the flow rate, the electrical consumption, and the water temperature. The seasonal coefficients of performances of the heat pumps and the system based on the measured data were found to be 4.01 and 2.96 in the cooling season, and 3.54 and 2.86 in the heating season, respectively. The GCHP system was more economical than the air-source room air conditioner in the energy efficiency which was increased by 29 in cooling mode and 50 in heating mode. There was an obvious heat imbalance of soil between the injection rate and the extraction rate in the residential GCHP system operation.  相似文献

将热管系统的蒸发器作为连铸结晶器,通过测试蒸发室及熔融室内的温度,揭示热管运行温度和熔融室温度的关系。结果表明:在普通环境温度下和物质熔融温度为160℃时.热管工作温度为50-70℃,热管系统蒸发器面积和冷凝器面积之比从1:15增加到1:30时。热管工作温度降低较快,下降约23%;当面积比从1:30增加到1:60时,下降约8%:将热管系统运用于连铸生产时.增大热管系统的冷凝器面积,可以降低热管工作温度。但降低程度随面积比的增大而减小;当用于镁合金连铸时,热管的运行温度将超过100℃.  相似文献

基于目前制造半导体的技术,LED输入功率中绝大多数的能量转化为热能,大约只有15%的能量转化为光能,因此必须提高LED的散热能力以保证LED的正常使用.研制了一种新型热管式大功率LED路灯散热器,该散热器的方向垂直于基板,且开设了通孔以便于液体工质在金属薄片的相邻缝隙间流通,以利于降低芯片的结温.通过对LED路灯样品温度测试实验表明安装有新型热管式散热器的LED路灯,温度变化平稳,测量到的最高温度为41.2℃.  相似文献

介绍了换热器传热性能试验台系统的硬件构成、运行原理、软件控制和测量系统.试验台系统由导热油、压缩空气、乙二醇溶液和水4种不同热流体与冷风和冷却水2种冷流体为循环工质的子系统构成,不仅能进行上述热流体对冷风或冷却水的一对一试验,还可以进行并联或串联的2种或3种热流体对冷风的复合型换热器的传热性能测试.控制和测量系统以LabVIEW软件为平台,包括试验数据采集和处理系统以及自动运行与控制系统,借助完善的软件控制与先进测量仪器的相结合,使系统具有结构紧凑,测量精度高,测试范围广,程序界面友好等特点,对于换热器总体传热系数K的不确定度小于5%,为新型换热器的设计和开发提供了可靠的测试平台.  相似文献

Separate type heat pipe heat exchangers are often used for large-scale heat exchanging. The arrangement of such a heat exchanger conveniently allows heat input to and output from the heat exchanger at remote locations. The traditional method of designing an ordinary HPHE (heat pipe heat exchanger) is commonly applied in the separate type exchanger design, but the calculations have to be carried out separately, which makes it very complicated. In this work, the ε-NTU (effectiveness-Number of Transfer Units) method was applied for optimization analysis of single-or multi-level separate type heat pipe heat exchangers. An optimizing formula for single-level separate type heat pipe heat exchangers was obtained. The optimizing principles of effectiveness-NTU and heat transfer rate by the equal distribution method for multi-level separate type heat pipe heat exchanger are presented. The design of separate type heat pipe heat exchangers by the optimizing method is more convenient and faster than by the traditional method.  相似文献

A micro-sized tube heat exchanger(MTHE) was fabricated, and its performance in heat transfer and pressure drop was experimentally studied. The single-phase forced convection heat transfer correlation on the sides of the MTHE tubes was proposed and compared with previous experimental data in the Reynolds number range of 500—1 800. The average deviation of the correlation in calculating the Nusselt number was about 6.59%. The entrance effect in the thermal entrance region was discussed. In the same range of Reynolds number, the pressure drop and friction coefficient were found to be considerably higher than those predicted by the conventional correlations. The product of friction factor and Reynolds number was also a constant, but much higher than the conventional.  相似文献
