We consider the design of control schemes for large-scale systems composed of interconnected subsystems with time-varying uncertainties. The local control, utilizing solely the state of the subsystem, and the global control, utilizing the states of the neighboring subsystems as additional information, are proposed to guarantee certain deterministic performance, including uniform boundedness and uniform ultimate boundedness. It can be shown that the local control is applicable provided a test matrix T satisfies certain requirements. The global control, on the other hand, is applicable if the interconnections between subsystems satisfy certain structural constraints. The salient features of these control schemes is that the only information required is the bounds of uncertainties.  相似文献

This paper tackles a distributed hybrid affine formation control (HAFC) problem for Euler–Lagrange multi-agent systems with modelling uncertainties using full-state feedback in both time-varying and constant formation cases. First, a novel two-layer framework is adopted to define the HAFC problem. Using the property of the affine transformation, we present the sufficient and necessary conditions of achieving the affine localizability. Because only parts of the leaders and followers can access to the desired formation information and states of the dynamic leaders, respectively, we design a distributed finite-time sliding-mode estimator to acquire the desired position, velocity, and acceleration of each agent. In the sequel, combined with the integral barrier Lyapunov functions, we propose a distributed formation control law for each leader in the first layer and a distributed affine formation control protocol for each follower in the second layer respectively with bounded velocities for all agents, meanwhile the adaptive neural networks are applied to compensate the model uncertainties. The uniform ultimate boundedness of all the tracking errors can be guaranteed by Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, corresponding simulations are carried out to verify the theoretical results and demonstrate that with the proposed control approach the agents can accurately and continuously track the given references.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive output feedback fault tolerant control (FTC) based on actuator switching is proposed for a class of single-input single-output (SISO) nonlinear systems with uncertain parameters and possible actuator failures, for which a set of healthy actuators are available as backups. While high-gain K-filters are utilized to estimate the unmeasured states, an adaptive control law is designed to compensate for the parameter uncertainties and certain actuator failures, an actuator switching strategy based on a set of appropriately designed monitoring functions (MFs) is proposed to tackle those serious actuator failures, make tracking error satisfy prescribed transient and steady-state performance and guarantee closed-loop signal boundedness.  相似文献

Undesirable time-variable motions of dynamical structures (e.g. scales, balances, vibratory platforms, bridges and buildings) are mainly caused by unknown or uncertain excitations. In a variety of applications it is desirable or even necessary to attenuate these disturbances in an effective way and with moderate effort. Hence, several passive as well as active methods and techniques have been developed in order to treat these problems. However, employment of active techniques often fails because of their considerable financial costs. We propose an affordable control scheme which accounts for the above-mentioned deficiencies. In addition, we allow constraints on control actions. Furthermore, the number of control inputs (actuators) may be arbitrary, i.e., the system may be mismatched. The scheme is based on Lyapunov stability theory and, provided that the bounds of the uncertainties are a priori known, a stable attractor (ball of ultimate boundedness) of the structure can be computed. In case measurement errors or uncertainties, respectively, are significant, it is shown how the Lyapunov-based control scheme may be combined with a fuzzy control concept. The effectiveness and behavior of the control scheme is demonstrated on two simplified models of elastic structures such as a two story building and a bridge subjected to a moving truck.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive distributed control protocol is proposed for non-affine multi-agent system with nonlinear dead-zone input and state constraints under the condition of directed topology. In order to overcome the difficulties caused by non-affine terms in the system, the nonlinear dynamics system is transformed. Then, the neural network technology is introduced to approximate the unknown non-affine terms for the obtained system. State constraints and dead-zone input are common system problems. In order to solve these problems, the barrier Lyapunov function is introduced in this paper. According to the barrier Lyapunov function and backstepping method, an adaptive distributed controller is designed, so that state variables do not violate constraint bounds and the system is not affected by dead-zone input. By Lyapunov stability theory, it is proved that the signals of each follower are cooperative semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness (CSUUB), and the outputs of the followers track the output of the leader. Simulation example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, the finite-time exponential consensus problem is addressed for a class of multi-agent systems against some disturbed factors, which include system uncertainties, communication perturbations, and actuator faults. All disturbed factors are supposed to be influenced by internal and external effects of systems. The internal effects are described in terms of dependency on the system states, while the external actions are restricted by constant bounds. To obtain the information of the rate of dependency on the states and constant bounds, an adaptive mechanism is designed to estimate the rate and bounds. Based on these estimates, a distributed adaptive sliding mode controller is constructed to eliminate the effects of those disturbed factors. Then exponential consensus of the closed-loop adaptive multi-agent system is achieved within a finite time based on Lyapunov stability theory. The efficiency of the developed adaptive consensus control strategy is verified by a coupled system with four F-18 aircrafts of decoupled longitudinal model.  相似文献

This paper studies the adaptive asymptotically stabilizing control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems by the partial-state feedback. The input-to-state stability (ISS) is used to describe the dynamic uncertainties, and a novel Nussbaum function is resorted to counteract the unknown identical control directions. The damping terms with the estimates of unknown disturbance bounds are inserted in control design to handle the nonvanishing external disturbances. It can be seen that all signals in closed-loop are bounded and the system states converge to zero asymptotically in spite of the uncertainties. Finally, a simulation example is introduced to show the effectiveness of the presented control scheme.  相似文献

This paper develops a robust adaptive neural network (NN) tracking control scheme for a class of strict-feedback nonlinear systems with unknown nonlinearities and unknown external disturbances under input saturation. The radial basis function NNs with minimal learning parameter (MLP) are employed to online approximate the uncertain system dynamics. The adaptive laws are designed to online update the upper bound of the norm of ideal NN weight vectors, and the sum of the bounds of NN approximation errors and external disturbances, respectively. An auxiliary dynamic system is constructed to generate the augmented error signals which are used to modify the adaptive laws for preventing the destructive action due to the input saturation. Moreover, the command filtering backstepping control method is utilized to overcome the shortcoming of dynamic surface control method, the tracking-differentiator-based control method, etc. Our proposed scheme is qualified for simultaneously dealing with the input saturation effect, the heavy computational burden and the “explosion of complexity” problems. Theoretical analysis illuminates that our scheme ensures the boundedness of all signals in the closed-loop systems. Simulation results on two examples verify the effectiveness of our developed control scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of adaptive tracking control is investigated for nonlinear systems with asymmetric actuator backlash. We assume that the nonlinearities of the systems are unknown and the external disturbances are bounded. First, the control input will be quantized by a hysteresis-type quantizer, which can reduce the communication rate of the control signal. Then, the asymmetric actuator backlash is approximated to a new model, and a novel adaptive controller with the quantizer is designed via an adaptive backstepping technique to guarantee all the signals of the closed-loop tracking error system are uniform ultimate boundedness. Finally, the simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

This paper studies the neural adaptive control design for robotic systems with uncertain dynamics under the existence of velocity constraints and input saturation. The control objective is achieved by choosing a control Lyapunov function using joint error variables that are restricted to linear growth and furthermore by introducing a secant type barrier Lyapunov function for constraining the joint rate variables. The former is exploited to bind the forward propagation of the position errors, and the latter is utilized to impose hard bounds on the velocity. Effective input saturation is expressed, and neural networks are employed to tackle the uncertainty problem in the system dynamics. Feasibility conditions are formulated, and the optimal design parameters are obtained by solving the constrained optimization problem. We prove that under the proposed method, semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop system can be guaranteed. Tracking errors meanwhile converge to small neighborhoods of the origin, and violations of predefined velocity constraints are avoided. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical developments.  相似文献

In this paper an adaptive second order terminal sliding mode (SOTSM) controller is proposed for controlling robotic manipulators. Instead of the normal control input, its time derivative is used in the proposed controller. The discontinuous sign function is contained in the derivative control and the actual control obtained after integration is continuous and hence chatterless. An adaptive tuning method is utilized to deal with the system uncertainties whose upper bounds are not required to be known in advance. The performance of the proposed control strategy is evaluated through the control of a two-link rigid robotic manipulator. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel combined State Dependent Riccati Equation (SDRE) / Function Approximation Technique (FAT)-based control design for nonlinear uncertain systems. The SDRE is employed to construct an optimal controller and the function approximation technique is utilized to estimate time-varying disturbances and uncertainties. Moreover, a robust term in the proposed control law compensates for the truncation error. The closed-loop stability and boundedness of the tracking error and FAT weights approximation error are proved in the sense of Lyapunov, with consideration of truncation error. Due to the great importance of the adequate performance of transient response from practical point of view, performance evaluation has been accomplished. The proposed scheme is computationally simple due to utilizing the FAT to represent uncertainties and disturbances as a function of time. Compared with the SDRE based SMC, the proposed controller is superior in terms of capability to track a fast and highly complicated trajectory and no need to determine time-varying disturbances and uncertainties bounds. The case study is a Selective Compliant Articulated Robot for Assembly (SCARA) flexible joint manipulator as a representative of highly nonlinear, coupled, large robotic systems. Simulation results easily verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed controller.  相似文献

This paper develops an adaptive actuator failure compensation scheme for control of a class of nonlinear multi-input–multi-output systems with redundant actuators subject to uncertain failures. The design method is to estimate the failure pattern parameters and the failure signal parameters first, and then use the parameter estimates to construct the adaptive failure compensation controller, the control law calculation is done simultaneously with parameter estimation without explicit failure detection. Closed-loop signal boundedness and asymptotic output tracking, despite the actuator failure uncertainties, are ensured analytically and verified by simulation results from its application to attitude control of a near space vehicle dynamic model.  相似文献

This paper investigates the finite-time cooperative formation control problem for a heterogeneous system consisting of an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) - the leader and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) - the follower. The UAV system under consideration is subject to modeling uncertainties, external disturbance as well as actuator faults simultaneously, which is associated with aerodynamic and gyroscopic effects, payload mass, and other external forces. First, a backstepping controller is developed to stabilize the leader system to track the desired trajectory. Second, a robust nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode surface is designed for UAV and finite-time position control is achieved using terminal sliding mode technique, which ensures the formation error converges to zero in finite time in the presence of actuator faults and other uncertainties. Furthermore, by combining the radial basis function neural networks (NNs) with adaptive virtual parameter technology, a novel NN-based adaptive nonsingular fast terminal sliding formation controller (NN-ANFTSMFC) is developed. By means of the proposed adaptive control strategy, both uncertainties and actuator faults can be compensated without the prior knowledges of the uncertainty bounds and fault information. By using the proposed control schemes, larger actuator faults can be tolerated while eliminating control chattering. In order to realize fast coordinated formation, the expected position trajectory of UAV is composed of the leader position information and the desired relative distance with UGV, based on local distributed theory, in the three-dimensional space. The tracking and formation controllers are proved to be stable by the Lyapunov theory and the simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed algorithms.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel adaptive integrated guidance and control (IGC) scheme is proposed for skid-to-turn (STT) missile with partial state constraints and actuator faults. Considering the strict-feedback form of the IGC model, the dynamic surface control (DSC) approach is adopted to design the IGC scheme. To prevent the attack angle, sideslip angle and velocity deflection angle from violating the constraints, the barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) and modified saturation function are employed in the IGC design procedure. Moreover, an auxiliary system is constructed to remove the adverse effects that caused by the modified saturation function. The adaptive laws are constructed to estimate the actuation effectiveness of actuators and the upper bounds of lumped uncertainties in the IGC model. It is theoretically shown that all signals in the closed-loop system are bounded while the state constraints are not violated in presence of actuator faults and uncertainties. Numerical simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed IGC scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, a new robust adaptive prescribed performance control (PPC, for short) scheme is proposed for quadrotor UAVs (QUAVs, for short) with unknown time-varying payloads and wind gust disturbances. Under the presented framework, the overall control system is decoupled into translational subsystem and rotational subsystem. These two subsystems are connected to each other through common attitude extraction algorithms. For translational subsystem, a novel robust adaptive PPC strategy is designed based on the sliding mode control technique to provide better trajectory tracking performance and well robustness. For rotational subsystem, a new robust adaptive controller is constructed based on backstepping technique to track the desired attitudes. Finally, the overall system is proved to be stable in the sense of uniform ultimate boundedness, and numerical simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper proposes a robust adaptive control strategy for a class of state-constrained uncertain nonlinear systems with prescribed transient and steady-state behavior. The prescribed tracking performance can be characterized by constraints on an output tracking error. Both state and output constraints are achieved by bounding integral barrier Lyapunov functions in the backstepping procedure. A robust adaptive term is designed to compress auxiliary system uncertainties without the knowledge of their bounds. The satisfaction of control constraints and tracking error convergence are verified by theoretical analysis and are illustrated by simulation results.  相似文献

The bi-directionally coupled Lorenz systems are linked to the modeling of a coupled double loop thermosyphon system where the mass momentum and heat exchange are both considered. As the key parameters of the system, known as Rayleigh numbers, increase, the system of differential equations predicts typical flow dynamics in a thermosyphon from heat conduction to time-dependent chaos. In many applications including the thermosyphon systems, there are uncertainties associated with mathematical models such as unmodeled dynamics and parameter variations. Also, under the high heat environment for a thermosyphon, there exist external disturbances quantitatively linked to the Rayleigh numbers. All these sources constitute uncertainties to the dynamical system. Our objective is to design adaptive controllers to stabilize the chaotic flow in each thermosyphon loop with unknown system parameters and existence of uncertainties. The controllers consist of a proportional controller with an adaptive gain and a wavelet network that reconstructs the unknown functions representing the uncertainties. Explicit stability bounds and adaptive laws for the control parameters are obtained so that the coupled Lorenz systems are globally stabilized.  相似文献

In the presence of system uncertainties, external disturbances and input nonlinearity, this paper is concerned with the adaptive terminal sliding mode controller to achieve synchronization between two identical attractors which belong to a class of second-order chaotic system. The proposed controller with adaptive feedback gains can compensate nonlinear dynamics of the synchronous error system without calculating the magnitudes of them. Meanwhile, these feedback gains are updated by the novel adaptive rules without required that the bounds of system uncertainties and external disturbances have to be known in advance. Some sufficient conditions for stability are provided based on the Lyapunov theorem and numerical studies are performed to verify the effectiveness of presented scheme.  相似文献

This paper investigates the optimal tracking control problem (OTCP) for nonlinear stochastic systems with input constraints under the dynamic event-triggered mechanism (DETM). Firstly, the OTCP is converted into the stabilizing optimization control problem by constructing a novel stochastic augmented system. The discounted performance index with nonquadratic utility function is formulated such that the input constraint can be encoded into the optimization problem. Then the adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) method of the critic-only architecture is employed to approximate the solutions of the OTCP. Unlike the conventional ADP methods based on time-driven mechanism or static event-triggered mechanism (SETM), the proposed adaptive control scheme integrates the DETM to further lighten the computing and communication loads. Furthermore, the uniform ultimately boundedness (UUB) of the critic weights and the tracking error are analysed with the Lyapunov theory. Finally, the simulation results are provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献
