A deep understanding of the spectral gain characteristics of optical parametric oscillators （OPOs） and optical parametric amplifiers （OPAs） is important for a highly efficient optical parametric conversion. We numerically calculated the spectral gain characteristics of a quasi-phase-matching （QPM） parametric conversion process using the periodically poled 6% （mol/mol） MgO doped LiNbO3 （PPMgLN） as the nonlinear crystal. In the simulation we utilized the approach of a transformative matrix of the periodically poled nonlinear medium, which results from the small-signal approximation of three-wave mixed nonlinear equations. Numerical simulation results show that： （1） The full width at half maximum （FWHM） of the spectral gain of the parametric process becomes wider with the increase of parametric wavelength and reaches the maximum at degeneration; （2） The gain coefficient decreases gradually with the increase of parametric wavelength; （3） The spectral gain bandwidth decreases correspondingly with the increase of the nonlinear material length; （4） There exists an optimal parametric wavelength band, which is most suitable for the high gain parametric conversion when pumped by a laser source with a wide wavelength band, such as the high power fiber laser. 相似文献

This work describes the genesis, articulation and consolidation from 2007 of a social network of b-learning （blended learning） in the UA （University of Alicante） （Spain）, with the institutional backing of the Office of the Vice President for Education Technology and Innovation, and the momentum and advice of professor Angel Fidalgo （UNESCO （United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization） chair for University of Management and Policy）. The social network currently has more than 25 teachers, working on different work linkages with the university, implementing or intending to apply the teaching methodologyb-learning during the course 2007-2008 in a variety of courses and degrees. This paper focused on the removal and transformation of the dissolved organic matter （DOM） in secondary effluent during the granular activated carbon （GAC） treatment. Using XAD-8/XAD-4 resins, DOM was fractionated into five classes： hydrophobic acid （HPO-A）, hydrophobic neutral （HPO-N）, transphilic acid （TPI-A）, transphilic neutral （TPI-N） and hydrophilic fraction （HPI）. Subsequently, the water quality parameters of dissolved organic carbon （DOC）, absorbance of ultraviolet light at 254 nm （UV-254）, specific ultraviolet light absorbance （SUVA） and trihalomethane formation potential （THMFP） were analyzed for the unfractionated and fractionated water samples. The results showed that the order of the DOC removal with respect to DOM fractions was observed to be HPI〉HPO-A〉HPO-N〉TPI-A〉TPI-N. During the GAC treatment, the THMFP of the unfractionated water samples decreased from 397.4 μg/L to 176.5 μg/L, resulting in a removal efficiency of 55.6%. The removal order of the trilaalomethanes （THMs） precursor was as follows： HPO-A〉TPI-A〉TPI-N〉HPO-N〉HPI. By the GAC treatment, the specific THMFP of HPO-A, TPI-A, TPI-N and the original unfractionated water samples had a noticeable decrease, while that of HPO-N and HPI showed a converse trend. The Fourier transform infrared （FTIR） results showed that the hydroxide groups, carboxylic acids, aliphatic C-H were significantly reduced by GAC treatment. 相似文献

We extended an improved version of the discrete particle swarm optimization （DPSO） algorithm proposed by Liao et al.（2007） to solve the dynamic facility layout problem （DFLP）. A computational study was performed with the existing heuristic algorithms, including the dynamic programming （DP）, genetic algorithm （GA）, simulated annealing （SA）, hybrid ant system （HAS）, hybrid simulated annealing （SA-EG）, hybrid genetic algorithms （NLGA and CONGA）. The proposed DPSO algorithm, SA, HAS, GA, DP, SA-EG, NLGA, and CONGA obtained the best solutions for 33, 24, 20, 10, 12, 20, 5, and 2 of the 48 problems from （Balakrishnan and Cheng, 2000）, respectively. These results show that the DPSO is very effective in dealing with the DFLP. The extended DPSO also has very good computational efficiency when the problem size increases. 相似文献

This article reviewed the case of indecent dressing among the youth of today especially on the universities campuses, which has forced the authorities of those institutions to enact dress codes to stem the tide and restore high moral standards, integrity and decency. Whether this bid was successful or not was another thing which was a function of many factors namely： （1） absence of procedural and legal structures for enforcement and sanctions; （2） weak moral backgrounds from home; （3） lip-service paid to the issue of dress code by the authorities; （4） negative influence of foreign cultures through the moral pollution of the mass media; and （5） the corrupt nature of the society iner-alia. In the view of the fact that this phenomenon portends serious danger to realizing the sincere goals of training reliable, decent-minded, well mannered workforce and leaders for the future, the study recommended that： （1） all hands be put on deck by all the stake holders within and outside campuses to stem the dangerous tide; （2） well designed structures be laid down for enforcing the rules and penalizing non-compliance; and （3） regular counselling programmes be mounted all over the campuses and in the communities utilizing agencies like the parents, the teachers, the religious bodies and the media most especially. 相似文献

This paper deals with the estimation of crest settlement in a concrete face rockfill dam （CFRD）, utilizing intelligent methods. Following completion of dam construction, considerable movements of the crest and the body of the dam can develop during the first impoundment of the reservoir. Although there is vast experience worldwide in CFRD design and construction, few accurate experimental relationships are available to predict the settlement in CFRD. The goal is to advance the development of intelligent methods to estimate the subsidence of dams at the design stage. Due to dam zonifieation and uncertainties in material properties, these methods appear to be the appropriate choice. In this study, the crest settlement behavior of CFRDs is analyzed based on compiled data of 24 CFRDs constructed during recent years around the world, along with the utilization of gene ex- pression programming （GEP） and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system （ANFIS） methods. In addition, dam height （H）, shape factor （St）, and time （t, time after first operation） are also assessed, being considered major factors in predicting the settlement behavior. From the relationships proposed, the values ofR2 for both equations of GEP （with and without constant） were 0.9603 and 0.9734, and for the three approaches of ANFIS （grid partitioning （GP）, subtractive clustering method （SCM）, and fuzzy c-means clustering （FCM）） were 0.9693, 0.8657, and 0.8848, respectively. The obtained results indicate that the overall behavior evaluated by this approach is consistent with the measured data of other CFRDs. 相似文献

The domestic rainwater harvesting system （DRHS） is an water demands. A computer model has been generated to analyze the important freshwater source for Zhoushan, China to meet performance of the DRHS with different ratios of D/（AR） （water demand/average annual collected runoff） and S/（AR） （storage capacity/average annual collected runoff）. The performance of the DRHS was analyzed by means of the model simulation, which is described by its water shortage rate （WSR） and water loss rate （WLR）. Using the data, a set of dimensionless design calculation chart is introduced. When the water demand and requirement of the design are known, the established chart can be used to easily determine the storage capacity and catchment （roof and other surface） area required to achieve a desired performance level. 相似文献

The purpose of the research was to develop and find out the efficiency of a web-based training package （WBT package）, the effectiveness, the satisfaction, as well as the performance evaluation of housewife group of WBT on Yoga. Sample of 30 persons were the group of housewives from Soi Prachautit 15, Ratburana Region, Bangkok Metropolitan Area. Research tools were： （1） the WBT package on Yoga, （2） a user＇s manual of WBT package on Yoga; （3） an achievement test; （4） a questionnaire on the group of housewives＇ satisfaction, and （5） a performance evaluation form on Yoga. The research results revealed that the efficiency of the WBT package was at 80.08/82.89, which was higher than 80/80 as already identified by the criteria. When the average scores of pre-test （M=22.33, SD=3.13） and post-test （M=82.89, SD=-3.37） training were compared, it was found that the WBT package could increase the learning effectiveness to 60.56%, which met the criteria set of 60%. The mean scores of the group of housewives＇ satisfaction was at a good level （M=4.40, SD=-0.60）. According to the Yoga performance evaluation on group of housewives, the average mean scores （M=3.81, SD=-1.62） of the group of housewives＇ training was 75% correct, and perfect as shown in the WBT package. This paper studies some special networks structured with serf-organized and driven behavior that coexist in a cluster, moreover, the clusters have dominant intra-cluster and inter-cluster couplings. It is called mixed-system （M-S） here. For this study linear stability analysis was used, and stability conditions for the synchronized state were determined. For the coupling function g（x）, the stability state of the network was discussed in two different cases： the linear case with g（x） = x and the nonlinear case with g（x） = f（x）. Poly （N-isopropylacrylamide） （PNIPAAm）/carboxymethylated chitosan （CMCH） hydrogels were prepared by irradiating the aqueous solution mixture of NIPAAm and CMCH by 60 Co γ-ray.The effects of feed ratio of NIPAAm and CMCH,temperature,pH and ionic strength on the swelling ratio of PNIPAAm/CMCH hydrogels were studied.The results show that the addition of CMCH shifts the lower critical solution temperature （LCST） of the PNIPAAm hydrogel to higher temperature.The PNIPAAm/CMCH hydrogel displays not only pH-and thermo-sensitivity,but also ion-sensitivity.Differential scanning calorimetry （DSC） was applied for the determination of the LCST of the hydrogel. 相似文献

This paper studies the security of an image encryption scheme based on the Hill cipher （Ismail et al., 2006） and reports its following problems： （1） There is a simple necessary and sufficient condition that makes a number of secret keys invalid; （2） It is insensitive to the change of the secret key; （3） It is insensitive to the change of the plain-image; （4） It can be broken with only one known/chosen plaintext; （5） It has some other minor defects.
