清朝嘉庆十四年十二月十二日夜晚,中国人黄亚胜在广州被外国水手杀死,其后凶手被指控为英国水手,中英双方就此案件进行长期交涉,成为鸦片战争前中英商贸、外交及司法关系的一个重要事件,黄亚胜事件保留了一批珍贵档案,深刻反映了清代文书制度的内容特点,影响了鸦片战争前后中英商贸、外交关系、涉外法权、条约口岸体制的变迁。 相似文献

中日甲午战争后列强对于中国的侵略逐步升级,从经济到政治,再由政治到领土,最终掀起了瓜分中国的狂潮。而作为中国海关总税务司的赫德参与了中德有关胶州湾、中英有关威海卫与香港拓址的交涉。德国舰队占领胶州湾后,赫德首先建议总理衙门要求德国撤军。眼看德国撤军无望,赫德又转而劝说总理衙门尽快满足德国的要求,早日结束中德间的交涉。为了使英国也在抢占中国沿海重要港口方面分得一杯羹,赫德以清政府打算主动将威海卫租借给英国为由,将英国政府的目光引向威海卫,在中英有关威海卫的交涉中充当了双方沟通的桥梁。在中英有关香港拓址的交涉中,赫德向总理衙门建议由港英政府帮助中国在香港周边收税,从而引发了中英间有关九龙海关税卡去留的交涉。 相似文献

赫德与英国驻华使领馆的矛盾是晚清中英外交史上一道独特的风景线。在中英商务司法案件交涉中,赫德无论是从言论还是从行动上,都是站在中国一边。在镇江趸船案、"台湾"号假货单案、芜湖青麻案和佩奇案中,赫德帮助中国与英国驻华使领馆进行抗争,并取得了胜利。赫德在中英商务司法案件中的表现充分说明,当英国驻华使领馆损害到中国海关的利益时,不仅损害了中国的利益,也损害了赫德的个人利益,同时也损害了英国在华的长远利益,所以此时赫德与英国驻华使领馆的矛盾急剧尖锐化,从而促使赫德在中英商务与司法案件中帮助中国政府在中英交涉中取得胜利。 相似文献

九一八事变期间，当事国的中日双方和代表国联的英国三方之间，围绕着是否通过、如何通过直接交涉解决中日争端，发生了一场独特的外交争论。1931年10月8日日军轰炸锦州前，中国同意在第三方介入下直接交涉。此后，针对日方企图，中方要求先撤兵后谈判。英国一度要求介入，反对日本所谓基本原则，但后来妥协，催促中国直接交涉，并答应不介入。日本尽管一直声称要直接交涉，实际上并不打算进行，除非中国接受亡国条件。因此，直接交涉不可能进行，和平解决争端也不可能。国联12月10日派遣调查团的决议，将这一争论划上句号。 相似文献

在学界对美日之间归还冲绳问题的谈判和交涉的研究中，涉及到日美就是否“事前协商”、“撤出核武”等问题的交涉，对韩国的立场和态度研究较少。其实，美日在归还冲绳问题上达成的共识，如“韩国条款”、“不应妨碍美国有效地履行其保卫远东国家（包括日本在内）的国际义务”等原则，本身就表明韩国对该问题的影响。因此，从某种程度上说，归还冲绳问题是美日韩三国之间交涉的结果，归还冲绳问题也折射出美日韩之间在安全上存在的三边“协作”关系。 相似文献

The problem on the geometrc inequalities involving an n-dimensional simplex and its inscribed simplex is studied. Aninequality is established, which reveals that the difference between the squared circumradius of the n-dimensional simplex andthe squared distance between its circumcenter and barycenter times the squared circumradius of its inscribed simplex is not lessthan the 2(n-1)th power of n times its squared inradius, and is equal to when the simplex is regular and its inscribed siplex is atangent point one. Deduction from this inequality reaches a generalization of n-dimensional Euler inequality indicating that thecircumradius of the simplex is not less than the n-fold inradius.
