硕士生招生办法与生源质量——基于学位论文的实证研究 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
通过对不同生源的学位论文成绩的统计分析,指出不同入学方式的硕士生的学位论文成绩有显著差异,其中免试入学的硕士生学位论文成绩最优,而单独考试入学的硕士生学位论文成绩参差不齐。进而提出了扩大免试招生比例,逐步取消单独考试制度等改革建议。 相似文献

作为一种对传统教育制度的片面性观念认识,应试教育的形成过程分为两个阶段。在应试教育的生成阶段中,补习教育等因素促成了应试教育的出现,在应试教育的维持阶段中,应试教育反过来促进了补习教育的盛行。随着应试教育的出现和补习教育的盛行,又导致了社会总成绩水平的提升和分数贬值现象的出现,进而使得参加补习教育由最初的个体选择演变成当下的集体困境,而其中涉及的个体理性和个体利益应是治理应试教育的关键所在。 相似文献

利用英语阅读焦虑量表,调查了92名非英语专业一年级大学生的英语阅读焦虑状况以及对阅读理解成绩和英语高考成绩的影响。结果表明:非英语专业一年级大学生中半数以上存在阅读焦虑,且焦虑等级较高;阅读焦虑与阅读理解成绩呈中度相关,阅读焦虑程度对阅读理解成绩有一定影响。阅读焦虑与高考英语成绩呈显著负相关,阅读焦虑程度越高,英语成绩越低;阅读理解成绩高分组的阅读焦虑低于低分组的阅读焦虑,但不存在显著性差异。 相似文献

A sample of Australian secondary school students was used to explore the relationships among a set of standardised Year 7
numeracy and literacy tests, measures taken at Year 10 of mathematics attitude and schoolwork effort, and Mathematics and
English scores in a state-wide Year 10 examination. Additionally, the predictive capacity of the numeracy and literacy tests,
together with the attitude and effort measures, were examined in relation to the Mathematics and English scores. A correlation
analysis showed that the numeracy and literacy tests were positively and significantly related and had similar relationships
with the two Year 10 examination scores. Mathematics attitude was significantly associated with Year 10 Mathematics but effort
did not correlate significantly with either of the Year 10 examination scores. Multiple regression analyses demonstrated that
the relevant Year 7 test results contributed to a considerable amount of the total variance in the two Year 10 examination
scores. A sub-sample of the students was interviewed and four case studies were selected to interrogate the notions of achievement,
mathematics attitude, and effort. Although these case studies act as a source of qualitative evidence to supplement the quantitative
findings, they also indicate that effort, in particular, is a notion worthy of further investigation. Other implications for
researchers, as well as school personnel, are noted. 相似文献

In educational systems, concern has been expressed about the accuracy of classification when marks are aligned to grades or levels. In particular, it has been claimed that a school assessment‐based grading would have much greater levels of accuracy than one based on examination scores. This paper investigates classification consistency by analysing five years of examination and assessment data in the subject areas of English and mathematics, and creating simulated parallel‐test observed scores at varying reliabilities (based on classical test theory assumptions). While grades created from moderated school assessments did show greater agreement than those from examination scores, the improvement was only modest. 相似文献

Several studies have shown that the standard error of measurement (SEM) can be used as an additional “safety net” to reduce the frequency of false‐positive or false‐negative student grading classifications. Practical examinations in clinical anatomy are often used as diagnostic tests to admit students to course final examinations. The aim of this study was to explore the diagnostic value of SEM using the likelihood ratio (LR) in establishing decisions about students with practical examination scores at or below the pass/fail cutoff score in a clinical anatomy course. Two hundred sixty‐seven students took three clinical anatomy practical examinations in 2011. The students were asked to identify 40 anatomical structures in images and prosected specimens in the practical examination. Practical examination scores were then divided according to the following cutoff scores: 2, 1 SEM below, and 0, 1, 2 SEM above the pass score. The positive predictive value (+PV) and LR of passing the final examination were estimated for each category to explore the diagnostic value of practical examination scores. The +PV (LR) in the six categories defined by the SEM was 39.1% (0.08), 70.0% (0.30), 88.9% (1.04), 91.7% (1.43), 95.8% (3.00), and 97.8% (5.74), respectively. The LR of categories 2 SEM above/below the pass score generated a moderate/large shift in the pre‐ to post‐test probability of passing. The LR increased the usefulness and practical value of SEM by improving confidence in decisions about the progress of students with borderline scores 2 SEM above/below the pass score in practical examinations in clinical anatomy courses.
