Adenosine diphosphate(ADP)-ribosylation is a unique post-translational modification that regulates many biological processes,such as DNA damage repair.During DNA repair,ADP-ribosylation needs to be reversed by ADP-ribosylhydrolases.A group of ADP-ribosylhydrolases have a catalytic domain,namely the macrodomain,which is conserved in evolution from prokaryotes to humans.Not all macrodomains remove ADP-ribosylation.One set of macrodomains loses enzymatic activity and only binds to ADP-ribose(ADPR).Here,we summarize the biological functions of these macrodomains in DNA damage repair and compare the structure of enzymatically active and inactive macrodomains.Moreover,small molecular inhibitors have been developed that target macrodomains to suppress DNA damage repair and tumor growth.Macrodomain proteins are also expressed in pathogens,such as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).However,these domains may not be directly involved in DNA damage repair in the hosts or pathogens.Instead,they play key roles in pathogen replication.Thus,by targeting macrodomains it may be possible to treat pathogen-induced diseases,such as coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19). 相似文献

The study of the relationship between language and culture has been considered a subject of great value. Owing to this, translation theorists and translators have put more attention to the cultural barriers that exist in translation. Almost all schemes that have been issued by scholars or researchers to present Maslow＇s hierarchy of basic needs include a pyramid （triangle） in which the physiological needs are in the base and the self-actualization needs are in the top of the triangle. Although this scheming is inspiring to some results, basic needs have more characteristics that are significant however, this scheming is not able to inspire. Based on elaborating Maslow＇s theory and research＇s findings, this study aims to disclose weaknesses and strengths of traditional scheme （triangle）, and develop two innovated schemes of basic needs, which are more close to Maslow＇s ideas and more inspiring to realize the actuality of this hierarchy. 相似文献

The asymptotic theory for nonlinear transformations of fractionally integrated time series is developed.By the use of fractional Occupation Times Formula,various nonlinear functions of fractionally integrated series such as ARFIMA time series are studied,and the asymptotic distributions of the sample moments of such functions are obtained and analyzed.The transformations considered in this paper includes a variety of functions such as regular functions,integrable functions and asymptotically homogeneous functions that are often used in practical nonlinear econometric analysis.It is shown that the asymptotic theory of nonlinear transformations of original and normalized fractionally integrated processes is different from that of fractionally integrated processes,but is similar to the asymptotic theory of nonlinear transformations of integrated processes. 相似文献

High schools have over the past few decades been discredited with institutionalization, standardization, and academic-orientation （Manno, 1995; NASSP, 1996）. As a result, it has failed to prepare students for the society which has been undergoing exponential change. A majority of students have been either neglected or left uncared for because of their relatively low academic achievement. To meet with the persisting educational problems, the authors endeavor to investigate whether high schools, which have adopted the following four characteristics, are able to produce better-performing students than traditional institutionalized high schools. （1） More interactions between different members of the school. （2） Everyone holds responsibility for students＇ total development. （3） More teacher feel satisfaction and higher morale. （4） Less dropouts and fewer class-cuttings and lower rates of absenteeism. Based on the statistical data collected from 9,570 students in 781 high schools, the authors find that in both mathematics and science, academic gains are substantially higher in schools with higher levels of these four characteristics. One more important finding is that students are learning more in smaller schools, and the performance gaps between students from different backgrounds are smaller as well. 相似文献

Multimodal as digital literacies are,they have still been text-based.It has been a great concern that due to the popularity of speech-like writing style online,digital literacies have brought informal speech expressions into formal standard writing,and thus increasing the possibility to ruin the standard writing language.On the other hand,although there are moral panics of the survival of standard written languages,scholars and popular media show great tolerance for online languages.In addition,it has been proved that some frequent participants in digital literacies nowadays are capable of both online language and standard offline language,indicating that they are well aware of the different registers of language use and therefore of high language literacy.Furthermore,researches suggest several possible merits of digital literacies,including saving young people from social isolation and depression,providing people with more opportunities to learn new things and to practice the instructional writing,calling for thorough consideration and elaborate editing and encouraging brief and clear writing style. 相似文献

RecQ is a highly conserved helicase necessary for maintaining genome stability in all organisms. Genome comparison showed that a homologue of RecQ in Deinococcus radiodurans designated as DR1289 is a member of RecQ family with unusual domain arrangement： a helicase domain, an RecQ C-terminal domain, and surprisingly three HRDC domain repeats, whose function, however, remains obscure currently. Using an insertion deletion, we discovered that the DRRecQ mutation causes an increase in gamma radiation, hydroxyurea and mitomycine C and UV sensitivity. Using the shuttle plasmid pRADK, we complemented various domains of the D. radiodurans RecQ （DRRecQ） to the mutant in vivo. Results suggested that both the helicase and helicase-and-RNase-D-C-terminal （HRDC） domains are essential for complementing several phenotypes. The complementation and biochemical function of DRRecQ variants with different domains truncated in vitro suggested that both the helicase and three HRDC domains are necessary for RecQ functions in D. radiodurans, while three HRDC domains have a synergistic effect on the whole function. Our finding leads to the hypothesis that the RecF recombination pathway is likely a primary path of double strand break repair in this well-known radioresistant organism. 相似文献

This paper focuses on climate comfort degree evaluated from relationships between spatial characteristics and behaviors of a winter city.It is demonstrated that the influences of climatic factors on human comfort are remarkably different for different spatial characteristics and functions of the sites.An evaluation method of climatic comfort is propsed,in which attaining comfort is an adaptation process,and the dynamic changes in the process are according to the user’s subjective tendency to the variations of the spatial characteristics and functions of the space.The evaluation criteria are based on both physical and psychological hierarchy needs of a person,which include the spatial form for microclimatic conditions as well as the spatial social-economic characteristics of a site.To improve the local environment of a winter city by planning measurements,the Harbin Central Pedestrian Street is taken as an example in the application of the evaluation method,and different planning optimizing strategies are proposed accordingly.The results show that the pattern of climate comfort is characterized by reflecting the socialeconomic value and individual behavior characteristics. 相似文献

全变态昆虫肌肉的转化与脊椎动物肌肉损伤修复有很大的相似之处。本文以意大利蜜蜂飞翔肌的发育阐明这一观点。两者的相似性表现为:①参与肌肉修复和成蜂飞翔肌形成的成肌细胞来源于胚细胞;②飞翔肌的发育过程中肌肉的转化和肌肉损伤修复均有幼虫残余肌丝或损伤部位残余肌丝和成肌细胞融合,成肌细胞与成肌细胞之间的融合等现象。这些结果为全变态昆虫肌肉的转化作为了解脊椎动物肌肉再生知识的便利模型的可行性,提供了理论依据。 相似文献

This article analyses the role of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) in teachers' work in the Skills for Life sector. It shows how ILPs, originally a means of formative assessment, have become part of a system of performance indicators and function as a key mediating mechanism between local interactions and system goals. The article draws on theoretical perspectives from the new literacy studies and the sociology of science to reveal the pivotal role of texts in projects of social ordering. The methodology is a version of institutional ethnography, whereby an artefact (the ILP) is tracked as it circulates across the different sites of its production and use. Documentary and interview evidence are used. The article concludes that, in its current form, the ILP shapes teaching and learning relationships and aligns both tutor and student identities. Permissive guidance, combined with a core curriculum, the demands of audit and inspection, positions tutors uncomfortably as active mediators between student experience and the policy discourse. 相似文献

在西双版纳热带植物园内的木瓜榕和对叶榕上共采集昆虫标本88号,经鉴定、整理,访问木瓜榕的昆虫有38种,属于8个目20科和32属,在对叶榕上取食危害的昆虫有7个目22科31属,共37种,基本摸清了两种树上昆虫群落组成特点.两种树上均表现为昆虫种类丰富,害虫所占比例较高,造成损失者多为鳞翅目、鞘翅目及同翅目几个大目中的害虫,并记述了各类害虫的为害部位和症状、益虫的活动情况及特殊作用. 相似文献

After describing features of ILPs, we provide an example of the ILP process developed and implemented in the junior high schools in McLean County (Illinois) Unit District No. 5. 本文对不同用药水平处理下的稻田昆虫群落及其动态的变化情况进行了研究。 1、稻田昆虫群落物种丰富度,在时间序列变化中,天敌种类数多于害虫类;在用药处理田,害虫和天敌种类数低于未用药田。经存在度分析,稻田共有27种以上的常见种,其中害虫10种,捕食性天敌昆虫5种,寄生性天敌昆虫6种。稻田蜘蛛6种。 2、优势度在用药处理下均趋降低,但降低水平不一致,害虫类优势度降低值比天敌类降低值高,而在叶面活动的天敌优势度降低明显。 相似文献

Open Reading Frames (ORFs) are the DNA sequences in the genome that has the potential to be translated. Generally, only long ORFs (≥ 300 nucleotides or nt) are thought to be protein coding regions and are considered as genes in the genome annotation pipeline. Until recent years, small ORFs (smORFs) of less than 100 codons (< 300 nt) were regarded as non-functional on the basis of empirical observations. However, recent work on ribosome profiling and mass spectrometry have led to the discovery of many translating functional small ORFs and presence of their stable peptide products. Further, examples of biologically active peptides with vital regulatory functions underline the importance of smORFs in cell functions. Genome-wide analysis shows that smORFs are conserved across diverse species, and the functional characterization of their peptides reveals their critical role in a broad spectrum of regulatory mechanisms. Further analysis of small ORFs is likely throw light on many exciting, unexplored regulatory mechanisms in different developmental stages and tissue types. 相似文献

构建马氏珠母贝腹足SMART cDNA质粒文库,测序和在GenBank中进行同源性查找,得到了核糖体40s亚基S13基因的全长cDNA序列。马氏珠母贝S13的cDNA全长554bp,推测的开放阅读框位于27-479,编码151个氨基酸,其中亮氨酸16个,所占比例为10.6%。马氏珠母贝S13同鲶鱼以及真菌纲的球毛壳的同源氨基酸序列相似性分别为90.05%和72.85%,很保守,可以用于种以上生物的进化关系研究。聚类分析显示,马氏珠母贝与脊椎动物和昆虫的亲缘关系较近,同线虫、水稻、啤酒酵母和球毛壳等动植物、真菌等相距较远。 相似文献
