When an operation is carried out on polynomials or power series the result is usually a new power series. The general term of the series is the product of a multiplier which depends on the operation being performed and another factor which is common to the power series being operated on. In this paper equations are developed for the general term of the resultant series when certain operations are carried out on a series or on several series. Convenient equations are given for obtaining those factors common to a given series, and the lower order factors are tabulated. Several useful examples are given.  相似文献

本文以一般均衡理论为依据,在传统的以经济分析为核心的CGE模型的基础上扩展建立了刻画资源与环境问题的递推动态CGE模型。模型首先改造了传统社会核算矩阵的框架结构,引入资源恢复、污染治理和自然禀赋要素等新的核算账户,然后通过方程的增补和修正将其嵌入到基准模型中,并进一步拓展出资本及能源使用的递推动态模型结构,从而为政策效果的模拟分析提供了一个综合性的框架,有助于管理决策者全面把握复杂巨系统中的各种作用关系。  相似文献

We report on the progressive investigation of techniques for supporting interactive query reformulation in the TREC Interactive Track. Two major issues were explored over four successive years: methods of term suggestion; and, interface design to support different system functionalities. Each year's results led to the following year's investigation, with respect to both of these issues. This paper presents first the general motivation for the entire series of studies; then an overview of each year's investigation, its results, and how they influenced the next year's investigation. We discuss what has been learned through this series of investigations about effective term suggestion, usable and useful interface design, and the relationships between these two in support of the TREC Interactive Track task. We conclude with comments about the general methodology employed over this series of studies, and its relevance to the development and evaluation of interactive information retrieval systems.  相似文献

An optimal procedure is established for the reconstruction of the angular object distribution in a given field of view (FOV). The object is coherently illuminated and located in the far zone of the receiving aperture. The procedure is “uniformly” optimal in the sense of minimizing the statistical r.m.s. difference between the object distribution, modeled as a random function of the angular coordinates and its reconstructed image, for each direction belonging to the FOV. The observable complex amplitude distribution of the field on the aperture is due in the general case not only to the incidentfield scattered by the object but also to background disturbance, or “angular noise”, randomly distributed inside and outside the FOV, and is affected by “measurement noise”, that is random errors introduced in measuring the aperture field. The reconstruction algorithm consists of summing a truncated series of special functions—prolate spheroidal for the linear case and their generalizations for two dimensional apertures—weighted by appropriate coefficients. These coefficients depend upon the observed aperture field and upon the relative power densities associated with the object field and the various types of noise. The series is truncated to a number of terms (“effective degrees of freedom” of the image) determined through an information theoretical method: each term of the series, suitably ordered, provides an information gain less than the preceding one, and the information gain goes rapidly to zero. A relationship between information transfer and mean squared error for each term in the image series is established. Numerical examples are discussed.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the synchronization problem of semi-Markovian jumping complex dynamical networks with time-varying coupling delays against actuator failures. In an aim to shrink the treatment of network resources event triggered control strategy is proposed to achieve the synchronization criteria. By constructing Lyapunov–Krasovski functional, some delay dependent criteria that assures the synchronization of CDN are derived with the help of the general integral inequalities. It should be noted that the general integral inequality used here is general than that of Jensen inequality, the Wirtinger-based inequality, the Bessel-Legendre inequality, the Wirtinger-based double integral inequality, and the auxiliary function-based integral inequalities. The resulting LMIs can be easily verified with the help of the available softwares. Finally, simulation results are proposed to verify the effectiveness of the general integral inequality and designed control law.  相似文献

This series of papers addresses three interrelated problems: the solution of a variational problem, the solution of integral equations, and the solution of an initial valued system of integrodifferential equations. It will be shown that a large class of variational problems requires the solution of a nonlinear integral equation. It has also been shown that the solution of a nonlinear integral equation is identical to the solution of a Cauchy system. In this paper, we by-pass the nonlinear integral equations and show that the minimization problems directly imply a solution of the Cauchy system. This second paper in the series looks at semi-quadratic functional and scalar functions.  相似文献
