As a qualitative research method, the educational narrative inquiry is widely used in educational research. However, there exists some misconceptions about what is narrative inquiry and how to do educational narrative inquiry among the beginners who are interested in this method. Educational narrative research can not invent education event, nor is seen as a conventional research method. And the narrative inquiry should not be considered equivalent to ordinary way of telling stories. This paper will make a brief analysis of misconceptions and problems of educational narrative inquiry to help the beginners to better understand narrative inquiry and do this kind of research in a proper way. 相似文献

As a carefully designed work, Flannert O’Connor’s short story“A Good Man is Hard to Find”is a brilliant example for skillfully using narrative techniques to convey her Catholic faith. Mieke Bal’s theories of time in narratology provide a fresh perspective to explores the characterizations in Flannert O’Connor’s“A Good Man is Hard to Find”. Time functions greatly to the characterizations of the characters through the narrative text in terms of the story and the fabula. It helps to present the characters’ personalities by playing with the sequential ordering, rhythm and frequency. By using these narrative techniques, grandmother’s selfishness, her moral inanition and her considerations that she is morally superior to others is fully expressed to the reader as well as Misfit’s struggling and renascence to his disbeliefs of God and so on. 相似文献

Under the instruction of the author's own confession in the preface of The House of the Seven Gables, it's easy for readers and critics to take the theme of this novel as past and present, stasis and change, aristocracy and democracy, and then to unfavor?ably judge Pycheon siblings, the representatives of the former, by Holgrave, that of the latter. However, by using two narrative voic?es simultaneously in the novel, an intradiegeitic one and an extradeigetic one, Hawthorne actually reveals his equal disapproval of both the Pycheon siblings and Holgrave. In the intradiegetic narrative, the narrative voice as a whole takes its side with Holgrave and reveals Pycheon siblings'isolation from the united struggle of mankind. In the extradiegetic narrative where the narrator ad?dresses directly to his readers, the narrator expresses a similar disapproval of Holgrave, who is equally isolated from the chain of hu?manity for lacking sympathy for his fellow beings. With the co-existence of two narrative voices, Hawthorne's true concern lies in calling attention to the equally dangerous situations of isolation from the chain of humanity:an isolation from the chain of progress and that of human sympathy. 相似文献

In this paper, a plug-in hybrid electrical vehicle (PHEV) is taken as the research object, and its dynamic performance and economic performance are taken as the research goals. Battery charge-sustaining (CS) period is divided into power mode and economy mode. Energy management strategy designing methods of power mode and economy mode are proposed. Maximum velocity, acceleration performance and fuel consumption are simulated during the CS period in the AVL CRUISE simulation environment. The simulation results indicate that the maximum velocity and acceleration time of the power mode are better than those in the economy mode. Fuel consumption of the economy mode is better than that in the power mode. Fuel consumption of PHEV during the CS period is further improved by using the methods proposed in this paper, and this is meaningful for research and development of PHEV. 相似文献

As narratives are composed of the content encoded and the medium giving concrete shape to them,narratives are inseparably intertwined with temporalities,those of story time and narrative time.In the poem When We Two Parted,there is the co-existence of story time and narrative time.The story time covers three sections depicting separately the past events,the present and the future.They are boiled down into the poem in thirty two lines in total,which gives rise to the variance between duration of story time and duration of narrative time.The durations endow the poem with distinguishable narrative effects. 相似文献

In fact, Thoreau did not have a profound influence on American culture until the 20th century. It is generally acknowledged that his masterpiece Walden is one of the most outstanding literary works, in which the richness of thoughts contributes greatly to the spread of Thoreau's philosophy. Thanks to it, Thoreau's philosophy has attracted more and more attention. It is pleasantly surprised for a Chinese reader to find Confucianism in an American classical work of the 19th century. Many scholars have studied Confucianism in Walden in order to analyze how Confucianism influences Thoreau. However, these studies more or less overstate or understate the influence of Confucianism. Competing with successful products has become perplexing with several uncertainties and transmutes from time to time as customers＇ expectations are dynamic.That is why manufacturing firms exhaustively strive to look for a better competitive frontier using wellestablished and innovative product development（PD）processes.In this paper,we would like to answer three research questions：（i）What would be the effects of frontloading in PD？（ii）Can we improve our PD process endlessly？（iii）When is the critical time that the firm should take remedial action for improvements？As a contribution to the vast numbers of improvement methods in new product development（NPD）,this paper investigates the effects of front-loading using set-based concurrent engineering（SBCE）on cost and lead time.Models are developed and treated using a system dynamics（SD）approach.We assign a hypothetical upfront investment for SBCE and compare its effects on total cost and lead time of the development process.From the research,it is found that the total cost of PD is reduced almost by half-although the front loading is higher in order to encompass multiple design alternatives.The total product lead time is reduced by almost 20%.The model reveals the critical time for improvement of the PD process.We use SD tool（e.g.,STELLA）for simulation and visualization of the complex PD model,using SBCE as one of several strategies to frontload activities in the NPD process. 相似文献

This research aims at developing a new fuzzy activity finish time estimation model for project scheduling management.With the application of the fuzzy quality function deployment （FQFD） and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process （FAHP） methods,the degree of fuzziness for every project activity is calculated in accordance with considerations of project uncertainties.These uncertainties are measured by the risk level of such project-related characteristics as time limit,activity start time,budget,manpower,technological difficulty,and facility requirements.In this paper,rather than applying the de-fuzzification technique to obtain the crisp activity duration for project scheduling,the fuzzy finish time estimation method for every activity is proposed based on the degree of fuzziness.The corresponding fuzzy activity duration time plot is also developed in a new fuzzy Gantt chart.The proposed model can provide a reasonable fuzzy finish time estimation for every activity,while most scheduling methods only provide the finish time of the entire project.Compared to existing models,this time estimation model and its corresponding Gantt chart are predicted to have higher reliability and practical application in project management and scheduling. 相似文献

A pinion-type electric power steering (EPS) equipped on a sedan is reached in this paper. A three-freedom dynamic model of this system is created. The variables affecting assist character is analyzed. The formulas of simpled steering resistance force and the relationship between assist gain and vehicle speed are presented for the first time. Assist character is found based on the parameters of a sedan at last. This assist character is fit for the control rule of the EPS system through analyzing this character. In the novel of Hard Times, Dickens expressed his own concern with the conflict between labor and capital through the character Stephen Blackpool. The author used many words depicting Stephen's pathetic life, especially his unfortunate marriage, presenting him to the readers as a fully developed character. However, Stephen's pathetic life is not closely related to his major function in the novel, which is for Dickens to voice his opinions on class struggles. Presumably, the author has more intentions, be it conscious or unconscious, in assigning so many pages to the depiction of Stephen. Inspired by this presumption, I read through Dickens's biography and explored his married life. Based on the research work, a caparison between Stephen's and Dickens's marriages is conducted in this paper, applying Freud's psychoanalytical theory. The comparative analysis proves to be fruitful and reviews some implications about the author's own life. 相似文献

In this paper, the security technology of ad hoc networks is studied.To improve the previous multi-receiver signcryption schemes, an ID-based multi-message and multi-receiver signcryption scheme for rekeying in ad hoc networks is proposed.In this scheme, a sender can simultaneously signcrypt n messeges for n receivers, and a receiver can unsigncrypt the ciphertext to get his message with his own private key.An analysis of this scheme indicates that it achieves authenticity and confidentiality in the random oracle model while being of lower computation and communication overhead.Finally, for the application of our scheme in ad hoc, a threshold key updating protocol for ad hoc networks is given. 相似文献
