进入21世纪以来,世界各国的教育数字化发展呈现出网络搜索图书资料与教材、数字化学习与混合学习、开放式课件、web2.0参与性学习、网上国际学习交流、网络游戏成为学习新载体、移动学习、个性化学习网络等八大新趋势。与此同时,包括西方发达国家在内的各国主流意识中也存在反对教育工作盲目依赖数字网络的理性声音。对教育数字化实践进行合理反思,可以给我国的教育数字化发展提供一些有益的借鉴和思考。如果我们遵循教育规律,"善用"计算机数字技术,那么我们完全可能实现一场富有成果的"教育数字化革命";如果丢失的宝贵教育智慧,在教学与教育上任意"滥用"计算机数字技术,那么,教育数字化运动也可能演变为一种"教育数字化灾难"。  相似文献

Abstract

With respect to the rights and duties of citizens to receive an education, as provided under the Constitution and the Education Law of China, academic circles have proposed three interpretations: the combined right and duty viewpoint, the right viewpoint, and the duty viewpoint. Through analysis of the course of the emergence, development, and evolution of the Constitution of New China and relevant articles of the Compulsory Education Law, this article argues that the understanding of citizens’ right to education in the compulsory education stage should uphold the combined right and duty viewpoint, regarding the right to education as the right to the starting point and the process of education, and the duty to receive an education as an outcome- and goal-oriented duty.  相似文献

Background: Teacher education is an area of concern both in the policy and practice domains in both international and national contexts. Internationally, there are a wide range teacher education programmes and there is also considerable diversity with reference to policy approaches that operationalise such provision.

Purpose: This paper focuses on teacher education policy in Ireland and explores the relationships that exist between policy and teacher education as a sub-system of the education system.

Sources of evidence: Data from Governmental legislation, discussion papers, professional bodies commentaries, institutional practice and research.

Main argument: The paper provides a critical analysis of existing policy and practice in the area and it reflects on recent policy approaches in the context of the difficult economic circumstances, which Ireland has been experiencing since 2010.

Conclusions: The process of policy formation has been historically slow and rarely rational. It is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future given the current fiscal crisis and the need to further reduce public spending, with teacher education viewed primarily in terms of promoting economic objectives.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In the past few decades, the number of students attending segregated special schools in the Netherlands has risen considerably. In 1975, 2.2% of all students between 4 and 11 years old attended a special school, and this percentage almost doubled to 4.3% over the next 20 years. In order to stop further growth, two new education policies came into force in 1995 and 2003: Together to School Again and the so-called Backpack. These policies differed in the way that special needs funding was allocated. Together to School Again was based on lump sum funding to schools, while Backpack was linked to the individual and based on individual needs. Neither of these policy initiatives has been particularly successful in reducing the number of students with special needs in segregated settings. In theory, lump sum funding seemed a promising option, but the combination of two different ways of funding special needs education proved to be problematic. The Dutch experience illustrates the difficulties of effecting fundamental structural changes in this field.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the student experience of pre-service teachers in a compulsory primary science education course that adopted a flipped classroom approach. Participants (n = 79) were surveyed at the conclusion of the course exploring their perceptions of engagement, enjoyment, and degree of learning as a result of participating in this course. At the end of this course, the majority of participants indicated they were happy with learning outcomes and enjoyed some aspect of the online videos; however, they also indicated they did not watch all of the eight mandatory weekly videos. In fact, the majority only watched about four out of the eight videos. This paper explores why students were reluctant to engage with the online videos and asks if there is an underlying aspect to flipped classrooms that disengages students.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Science teachers are being called on to incorporate engineering practices into their classrooms. This study explores whether the Engineering-Infused Lesson Rubric, a new rubric designed to target best practices in engineering education, could be used to evaluate the extent to which engineering is infused into online science lessons. Eighty lessons were selected at random from three online repositories, and coded with the rubric. Overall results documented the strengths of existing lessons, as well as many components that teachers might strengthen. In addition, a subset of characteristics was found to distinguish lessons with the highest level of engineering infusion. Findings are discussed in relation to the potential of the rubric to help teachers use research evidence-informed practice generally, and in relation to the new content demands of the U.S. Next Generation Science Standards, in particular.  相似文献
