我国大学教师职业认同现状的调查与分析   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
本研究对441名大学教师职业认同状况进行了问卷调查,结果显示:(1)我国大学教师职业认同总体水平一般;(2)大学教师的职业认同中,职业价值认同明显低于职业能力、职业情感、职业地位认同;(3)教授、助教、副教授的职业情感认同高于讲师;(4)教师的职业能力认同存在显著的学历差异,学历越高,其职业能力认同水平越高;(5)职业价值认同存在显著的教龄和职称的交互效应;(6)不同职称教师在能力认同上存在显著的教龄差异。  相似文献

为了解地方高师院校教师职业倦怠状况及影响因素,本研究采用教师职业倦怠量表(MBI)对江西省某地方师范院校500名教师进行调查.结果发现:地方高师院校教师普遍存在职业倦怠问题,但总体上倦怠程度并不严重;在情绪衰竭维度上,36-45岁组得分显著高于35岁以下教师,教龄在5-10年教师得分显著高于5年以下教师;在低个人成就感维度上,教龄5年以下教师得分显著低于教龄5-15年教师;资料员在去人性化方面显著低于其他教师.不同学历、职称、收入的教师在职业倦怠3个维度上的差异不显著.  相似文献

选取475名中小学教师进行问卷调查,考察教师情绪智力与职业倦怠的现状和不同背景变量下的差异,并探讨二者的关系.结果发现:(1)不同年龄阶段的教师在情绪衰竭维度和情绪调节、情绪理解、对思维的促进及情绪智力总体上存在显著差异,不同教龄的教师在情绪理解、对思维的促进及情绪智力总体上存在显著差异,并在情绪衰竭维度上差异十分显著,不同性别的教师在认知枯竭维度上存在显著差异,不同学历背景的教师在认知枯竭维度上差异显著并在低个人成就感维度上差异极显著.(2)不同程度的教师情绪智力在职业倦怠整体及非人性化、认知枯竭、低个人成就感三个维度上存在显著差异.(3)除情绪衰竭与情绪理解维度呈显著正相关外,中小学教师的情绪智力及各个维度均与教师职业倦怠及各维度呈现非常显著的负相关.(4)回归分析表明,中小学教师的情绪智力对其职业倦怠具有显著的负向预测作用.  相似文献

本研究通过问卷调查的方式考察了北京市朝阳区596名中小学教师的情绪智力、工作倦怠和工作满意度情况,研究结果发现:1.北京市朝阳区中小学教师情绪智力水平较高,工作倦怠程度较低,工作满意度较高。2.学历、学校类型、年龄、教龄、班主任龄与教师的情绪智力相关,且这种相关性主要表现在情绪理解和情绪管理上。班主任年龄和周课时量与情绪耗竭程度呈正相关,周课时量与工作满意度呈负相关。3.情绪智力与工作倦怠呈显著负相关,与工作满意度,尤其是内在工作满意度呈现显著的正相关。4.情绪管理能力能有效预测教师的工作倦怠和内在工作满意度。  相似文献

采用问卷调查的方式,对宁夏吴忠、灵武、西吉、海原、同心等回族聚居地338名中学教师的职业认同水平进行的调查结果显示:(1)宁夏回族聚居地中学教师的职业认同总体水平较高(4.35±0.64);(2)中学教师的职业认同水平在男、女之间,回、汉民族之间,本科、专科学历之间都不存在显著差异(P>0.05);(3)中学教师的职业认同水平在教龄和月收入方面存在显著差异(P<0.05),教龄20年以上的教师职业认同水平显著高于其他教龄段的教师,教龄16-20年、11-15年、5年以下教师的认同水平间无差异,都显著高于教龄6-10年的教师,月收入高的教师职业认同水平高于月收入低的教师。因此,教龄、月收入是影响宁夏回族聚居地中学教师职业认同水平的主要因素。  相似文献

了解乡村初中教师专业素养现状是有针对性地开展教师职后继续教育,促进教师专业化发展的前提和基础。本研究对河北省638名初中教师的专业素养进行调查分析发现:河北省乡村初中教师整体专业素养中等偏上且在年龄、教龄、职称和学历方面存在显著性差异。其中,乡村初中教师专业理念和师德素养在学历方面差异显著,而专业知识和专业能力素养在教师年龄、教龄和职称方面存在显著性差异,特别是年龄在30岁以下、教龄低于5年以及低职称和无职称的教师专业素养发展亟需重视。这些结果表明,需要多渠道引导新任年轻教师专业素养提升,教师职后培训应以提升教师专业素养为立足点,注重培训课程的针对性和层次性。  相似文献

职业倦怠本质上是一种消极的生活和工作状态,对教师而言,此种衰竭状态会进一步影响教师对职业的情感、态度以及教育教学行为。本文以幼儿园性质及幼儿园教师学历、年龄、教龄四个人口学变量对职业倦怠进行元分析发现:幼儿园性质对教师情绪衰竭影响显著,对去个性化、个人成就感降低影响不显著;教师学历对情绪衰竭影响显著,高学历教师高于低学历教师,而学历对去个性化、个人成就感降低影响不显著;教师年龄对情绪衰竭、去个性化、个人成就感降低具有显著影响,对情绪衰竭影响最大;教师教龄对情绪衰竭、去个性化影响不显著,而对个人成就感降低具有显著影响。  相似文献

教师良好的情绪智力对学生具有潜移默化的影响,它可以促进全面发展教育目标的实现,有利于提高师生创造力水平,并取得良好的教育教学效果.然而,许多教师不了解自己的情绪智力,没有掌握相应的方法以提高情绪智力,由此造成一系列因情绪智力而引发的教育问题.为此,教师应转变教育的功利观,注重情绪情感能力的自我提高,掌握与学生进行情绪、情感交往的技巧,学习与情绪智力相关的课程,从而有效地提高自身的情绪智力.  相似文献

研究基于5所高校的274份问卷,探讨大学教师元情绪水平在人口统计学变量上的差异,并验证大学教师元情绪与工作绩效的关系。数据表明,大学教师元情绪水平较高,整体上处于中上水平,但元情绪各维度水平发展不平衡;大学教师元情绪的个别维度在性别、学科、年龄、职称和教龄上有显著差异;大学教师元情绪及各维度同工作绩效变量呈显著正相关。  相似文献

In Victoria, students intending to become physics teachers must choose to study physics in the final two years of high school, and then for at least two years at tertiary level. For those who have not taken this route there has been little access to the study of physics at a tertiary level and to a career in physics teaching. The Graduate Diploma in Physics and Education at La Trobe University offers graduates who have not studied physics as part of their undergraduate degree an opportunity to train as physics teachers. Implementation of the diploma has entailed a re-examination of the content and teaching style of undergraduate physics. In this paper, the course structure as a whole will be outlined and the physics taught as part of the diploma described. The preliminary results of the on-going course evaluation will be presented. The purpose of this study was to compare teachers and parents as instructors of a personal safety program. One hundred seventy-two Head Start preschoolers were randomly assigned to a personal safety program taught by their teachers, parents, both teachers and parents, or to a general safety control program. Following program participation, children taught the personal safety program by their teachers, parents, or both, demonstrated greater knowledge about sexual abuse and higher levels of personal safety skills compared with those in the control group. Gains in knowledge and skills were maintained at the 5-month follow up. Children taught by their parents showed greater improvements in recognizing inappropriate-touch requests and in their personal safety skills compared with children taught by their teachers, and children who received the program both at home and school were better able to recognize appropriate-touch requests and to demonstrate higher levels of personal safety skills compared with children taught only at school. The emotional costs associated with participating in the program were minimal, and both parents and children rated the program positively. The advantages of home-based instruction for young children are discussed and suggestions for future research are offered.  相似文献

目的:了解安徽农村特岗教师心理健康状况。方法:采用症状自评量表(SCL-90)对261名农村特岗教师进行问卷调查,所得数据用SPSS18.0进行分析处理。结果:(1)农村特岗教师SCL-90总分高于全国青年常模;(2)不同性别的特岗教师心理健康状况存在差异,其中男性在敌对因子上的得分显著高于女性;(3)不同学历的特岗教师心理健康状况存在差异,其中本科学历教师在敌对因子上的得分显著高于专科学历教师;(4)不同学科的特岗教师心理健康状况不存在显著性差异;(5)特岗教师的心理健康状况在是否独生子女上存在差异,其中独生子女的教师在强迫症状、恐怖、偏执和精神病性因子以及心理健康总分上均显著高于非独生子女的教师;结论:农村特岗教师心理健康水平偏低。  相似文献

For most teachers in the United States, teaching is no longer a career-long occupation. This article examines the narratives of a particular group of leavers, former teachers who made significant investments in their teacher training and who taught for at least three years before making the decision to exit. The accounts of these invested leavers are used to look at workplace change as a motivating factor for teacher exit, particularly changes in classroom authority that occur after teachers have begun to feel competent.  相似文献

A survey instrument was developed and administered to 1,222 K-12 mathematics and science teachers to measure their beliefs about and use of inquiry in the classroom. Four variables (grade level taught, content area taught, level of support received, and self-efficacy for teaching inquiry) were significantly correlated to two dependent variables, percentage of time that students are engaged in inquiry during a typical lesson and the perceived ideal percentage of instructional time that should be devoted to inquiry. Specifically, elementary school teachers reported using inquiry-based practices more than either middle-school or high-school teachers; similarly, elementary-school teachers believed such practices should be used more often. All groups, however, reported believing in an ideal percentage of time devoted to inquiry instruction that was significantly greater than their reported percentage of time actually spent on inquiry instruction. A disordinal effect was found between grade level taught and content area taught; at the elementary level, science teachers reported both an ideal and actual percentage of time on inquiry higher than those reported by the math teachers, while at the high school level math teachers reported both an ideal and actual percentage of time on inquiry higher than those reported by the science teachers. No correlations were found between typical and ideal percentage of time devoted to inquiry and subject matter content knowledge training, gender, years of teaching experience, or maximum degree earned.  相似文献

Teachers can be seen as emotional workers often needing to be sensitive to the demands that their work makes on their emotions, and skilful in regulating their feelings, but few quantitative studies have examined this issue systematically. Using hierarchical regression analysis to examine this issue, this study investigates teachers’ perceptions of the relationships among the emotional job demands, emotional intelligence, emotional labour strategies and teaching satisfaction, with a particular focus on the moderating role of emotional intelligence. The results of a survey of 1281 Chinese teachers reveal that teachers’ perceptions of emotional job demands and emotional intelligence significantly predict the three emotional labour strategies. Emotional intelligence significantly moderates the impact of emotional job demands on surface acting and expression of naturally felt emotion but not deep acting. Even after controlling for emotional job demands and emotional intelligence, deep acting and expression of naturally felt emotion still have a positive influence on teachers’ teaching satisfaction. Deep acting and expression of naturally felt emotion are more effective emotional labour strategies for teachers. A teacher development programme is suggested to make teachers clear about these emotional demands and different emotional labour strategies, and enhance teachers’ emotional intelligence.  相似文献

In recent years there has been an increased interest in the role of emotional intelligence in both the academic success of students and their emotional adjustment in school. However, promotion of emotional intelligence in schools has proven a controversial pursuit, challenging as it does traditional “rationalist” views of education. Furthermore, research findings in this area have been inconsistent at best. In this article we discuss the following key questions relating to this important debate. What do we mean by emotional “intelligence”? What impact would improved emotional intelligence have on learners’ emotional health and well‐being, academic achievement, and other adaptive outcomes? Can emotional intelligence be taught? It is felt that these are the key issues for consideration in developing policy, practice, and further research in this area.  相似文献

In the past few years, science educators and the nation at large have become increasingly concerned about the “Crisis in Science Education.” An underlying cause of this crisis is the nonuniform quality of instruction delivered by secondary science teachers. One way to improve the quality of teaching in the schools is the application of science education research findings to teaching. Most teachers are unaware of the research findings and/or do not apply them in their classrooms. This study helps determine the areas of research which are of greatest interest to secondary science teachers. Results will be used by NSTA to determine the contents of future volumes of the monograph What Research Says to the Science Teacher. A random sample of 600 secondary science teachers was obtained from the National Registry of NSTA. Teachers were sent a 23 item questionnaire that asked them to rate their interest in each research topic on a five point scale. The questionnaire contained the 12 items prepared by a NARST-NSTA committee in 1979 and an additional 11 items using the same format. Demographic data collected from the survey included sex, teaching assignment, role in school, type of school, type of community, years of teaching experience, and familiarity with What Research Says. … Data were analyzed using this demographic data as well as according to whether teachers returned the original or a follow-up questionnaire. Teachers who returned the first questionnaire had basically the same preferences as those who returned the follow-up questionnaire. Sixty percent of the teachers completed the questionnaire in usable form. Overall results of the study based on both frequency of response and on mean rating indicate that the following five topics are of greatest interest to secondary science teachers: laboratory experiences, motivational techniques, effect on college courses, problem solving, and meaningful learning. Analysis of data according to the subject taught indicated that chemistry and physics teachers are more interested in problem solving than biology teachers, and that chemistry, physics, and earth science teachers are also interested in the sequence of the content. Males and females had the same top five interests but in a different order. The same is true for teachers of grades 7–9 versus grades 10–12. Rural teachers preferences varied substantially from those in other settings and differences were also found for teachers familiar with What Research Says … compared to the rest of the sample. For every classification of teacher, the area of least interest was sex difference research.  相似文献

Years of experience, education level, and subject matter expertise are three measures of teacher qualification that are employed widely in contemporary educational policies including tenure, salary, and hiring, despite significant questions about their effectiveness at predicting student performance. These questions reveal a critical gap in the literature, concerning, in particular, the enduring impact of teachers' qualifications on students' educational experiences, and they ways in which related research has traditionally been framed and conducted. Specifically, studies examining these predictors have focused almost exclusively on investigating the role that an individual teacher's qualifications have on students' performance. In schools, however, students are exposed to different teachers every year, and those teachers often have differing qualifications. This study explores the impact of teacher qualification from a cumulative perspective by examining the relationship between cumulative science teachers' qualifications (measured by years of experience, education level, and subject matter expertise) and students' educational success (academic achievement, college enrollment, and decision to major in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field). The study found that students taught by science teachers who—as a group—were cumulatively more highly qualified, tended to have higher achievement, as well as better educational pathways and outcomes in STEM. Given that students are taught by teachers from across a broad spectrum of qualification throughout their schooling, findings from this study could have important implications, not only for research and practice, but also for education policy.  相似文献

Burnout in teachers is an important concern since it adversely impacts their instruction as well as their psychological, mental, and physical health. The present study examined the levels of burnout (i.e. emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment) experienced by Iranian English language teachers. Specifically, the relationships of participants’ gender, workplace context, grade level taught, and teaching experience to their burnout were investigated. Data were collected from 40 teachers using the Maslach Burnout Inventory. Overall, findings revealed that English teachers (N = 40) were experiencing high levels of reduced personal accomplishment (M = 18.72) and emotional exhaustion (M = 17.80). Results of one-way ANOVA showed significant differences among English language teachers with respect to burnout subscales. Significant correlations were found between burnout, workplace context, and grade level taught. A number of helpful suggestions for programs and individuals involved in relieving stress and burnout among teachers are presented.  相似文献
