古代中国半封闭的大陆性地理环境、封建文化的发达和综合国力的强盛,导致“夷夏之辨”和“中央大国”心态的形成。这种心态认为华夏文明优越于世界上其他国家的文化,这种自以为最为优越的文化在明清时期使封建统治阶级和士大夫阶层顽固地抵制西方先进文化,认为西方文明不过是一些令人不屑的雕虫小技,中华“泱泱大国,的圣典——孔盂之道才是万古不易、无往不克、教化万方的精髓,外国的文明师承中国。中国只能用自己的文化去改造西方文化,而断无向西方学习之理。在洋务运动、戊戌变法时期,封建统治者和士大夫阶层仍坚持“中学为体,西学为用,不可偏废”的原则,在完全肯定和保护本国文化基本精神的前提下,把社盒改革停留在器械、工艺的层面上,不主张使中国文化一步步地走向近代化。这种心态导致了自大和僵化,严重地阻碍着中国近代化的进程,并直接导致近代中国落后于世界先进国家。 相似文献

在近代中国“西学东渐”的背景下,地处东南沿海的福州在中国现代化进程中占据着空间上的先进和优势。由于较早接触西方文明,近代闽都文化努力促进中西方交流,引进西方文明,输出中国文化,为推动中国的文化现代化事业作出了突出贡献,杰出人物如林则徐、沈葆桢、严复等人更直接参与推动了中国现代化进程。福建船政作为近代“闽都文化”的代表,从多个层面引进西方科学技术体系,推动了中国工业文明的发展,成为中国近现代化历史上的第一个高峰。此外,“闽都文化”的爱国主义传统,也在近代中国的政治现代化中发挥了作用。闽都文化的历史总结对当代福州现代化建设具有重要的启示意义。 相似文献

“文化”人之根，“法治”国之本。中国文化是典型的道文化，诸子百家都根源于道家，儒家不过是官僚士大夫阶层体道训民的产物罢了。《道德经》第一章断句的错误偷换了道学的基本范畴，实际上，道学是“通无有”之学，推崇“实践”的“人文主义”；基本价值取向是：“同”或者“求同”；基本方法论是：肯定再肯定。这都与西方“辩证”的“物文主义”方法存在差别。历史必将证明：只有中华文明与“老子”的思想被世界广泛接受、推崇的时代，才是世界文明真正复兴的时代，才是世界真正走向文明的时代。而现在，就是世界公认的文明中心向中国古典哲学与中国文化回归的时代。 相似文献
