Object: The authors studied the influence of CO2 pneumoperitoneum on intracellular pH and signal transduction arising from cancer cell multiplication in laparoscopic tumor operation. Method: They set up a simulation of pneumoperitoneum under different CO2 pressure, and then measured the variation of intracellular pH (pHi) at different time and the activity of protein kinase C (PKC) and protein phosphatase 2a (PP2a) at the end of the pneumoperitoneum. After 1 week, the concentration of cancer cells in the culture medium was calculated. Result: When the pressure of CO2 pneumoperitoneum was 0, 10, 20, 30 mmHg respectively, the average pHi was 7.273, 7.075, 6.783, 6.693 at the end of the pneumoperitoneum; PKC activity was 159.4, 168.5, 178.0, 181.6 nmol/(g-min) and PP2a was 4158.3,4066.9, 3984.0, 3878.5 nmol/(g-min) respectively. After 1 week, the cancer cells concentration was 2.15×105, 2.03×105, 2.20×105, 2.18×105 L-1. Conclusion: CO2 pneumoperitoneum could promote acidosis in cancer cells, inducing the activation of protein kinase C and deactivation of protein phosphatase 2a, but it could not accelerate the mitosis rate of the cancer cells. 相似文献

NIER （National Institute of Educational Research, 2004） survey revealed that the most common attitude of Japanese high school students to mathematics is that ＂it is not useful in daily life but must be learnt for entrance examinations＂. It was also clarified that only 3.2 percent of mathematics teachers use computers in their classes. Therefore, a training system to improve teachers＇ professional competence through the design of lessons which will improve students＇ ability to solve problems in daily life was developed using ICT （Information and Communication Technology） in conjunction with mathematical thinking processes. The lAG （Instructional Activities Game） system developed by Matsuda （2004） was used to provide a platform for the execution of several game boards, which were designed to achieve different objectives for different conditions of teaching. Herein, the design of the STG （Simulate Teaching Game） game board and data sets of teaching materials and menu items for lesson plans are described, together with the means of elaborating the lAG system if new functions are required. 相似文献

In an effort to find the effect of mass transfer ,surface tesion and drag forces on the velocity distribution,the mathematical model of the velocity profile of a nascent hollow fiber during membrane formation in the air gap region was numerically simulated by using the Runge-Kutta method (fourth-order method).The effect of mass transfer on velocity distribution based on the complicated function(G(Ch^s))was presented and the dffects of a complicated function were studied in two cases:in the first case,G(Ch^s) was constant;in the second,G(Ch^s) was variable.The latter was done by varying with the concentration of solvent in a nascent hollow fiber through the air-gap region.One empirical equation was used to describe this change and the predected values had a better agreement with the experimental values.To verify the moedl hypotheses,hollow fiber membranes were spun from 20:80 polybenzimidazole/polyetherimide dopes with 25.6 wt％ solid in N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc) using water as the external and internal coagulants.Based on the experimental results of dry-jet wet-spinning process for the fabrication of hollow fiber membranes,it is found that the model calculated values were in a good agreement with the experimental values. 相似文献

This study examined the prevalence of holding age-eligible children out of kindergarten in a single Northern California county, and the changes in this phenomenon over time. The sample included 861 boys and 843 girls in 1988 to 1989 and 975 boys and 894 girls in 1991 to 1992, from 30 schools. In 1988, approximately 19.3% of kindergarten boys and 9.1% of kindergarten girls throughout the county were older than their classmates as a result of having been held out of school. In 1991, the corresponding figures were 11.4% and 3.7% for boys and girls respectively. Parental soeioeconomic status (SES) was associated with holding out boys, but not girls, in both 1988 and 1991. Specifically, schools with higher SES parents overall had a higher percentage of boys held out. A significantly greater percentage of parents in 1988 were concerned about the appropriateness of the kindergarten classroom for their child than parents in 1991. This study was unable to identify relationships between holding-out and teacher reports of change in kindergarten expectations, practices, and enrollment policies. 相似文献
