Chinese college English Language Curriculum is a complicated teaching system combined with a variety of teaching modes and teaching methodologies. It is guided by foreign language teaching theories and takes the English language knowledge and application skills, cross-cultural communication and learning strategies as its main content. In addition, as the main basis of English education for non-English major undergraduates in colleges and universities, this curriculum helps to cultivate students’ English comprehensive application ability, especially for their listening and speaking skills while improving their abilities of selfeducation. It can also strengthen learners’ comprehensive cultural quality in order to meet the need of social development and international communication.  相似文献

本文以汉字教学为出发点,通过对汉语教学本位问题的缘起、发展及其影响的历史回顾与理性思考,探讨对外汉语教学领域中词本位教学法和字本位教学法的实质。在此基础上,笔者认为汉语作为第二语言教学应当遵循汉字、语素和词汇并重的基本原则,建立有别于西方第二语言教学的对外汉语教学模式。
Abstract:
This paper discusses word-based and character-based teaching methods in teaching Chinese characters.It also makes a historical review and rational reflection of the origin,development and influence of base study in teaching Chinese as a second language.The writer thinks that in teaching Chinese as a second lan-guage,we should follow the important principle of attaching importance to Chinese characters,morphemes and vocabularies and set up a model of teaching Chinese as a second language which is different from the western model of second language teaching.  相似文献

This paper on pedagogical training of TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language) programs is based on the author's five-week study in the summer of 2008 at six Chinese universities. Based on class observations, interviews of teachers and students, and documents provided by the six universities, the author has found that their curriculum for pedagogical training is insufficient; theory and practice are often disconnected due to insufficient hands-on experience; and the training for cross-cultural communication skills needs to be improved.  相似文献

In the field of second language acquisition(SLA),weight has been increasingly attached to the role that a problem-pos ing model of education plays in English as second/foreign language(ES/FL)teaching and learning.By exploring various concepts of the problem-posing approach,also known as critical pedagogy,and its implications for English language teaching(ELT)in the Chinese postsecondary EFL context,the paper makes a tentative attempt to acknowledge the future directions of implementing critical pedagogy in the EFL context.Therefore,the paper is inspired by the ever-increasing popularity of the critical pedagogical approach in the ESL context.The application of critical orientation in language education derives from critical theories of the Frankfurt School,which centers on Marxist societal beliefs of struggling against social inequalities.With the concept of critical pedagogy drawing increasing attention from language educators and teachers alike in English-speaking countries;non-native English teachers who teach in the EFL context has also begun to focus their attention on the educational philosophy as a means to help transform traditional oppressed status of the Chinese EFL learners.From this perspective,this paper,by investigating the multi-dimensional implied meanings of implementing critical pedagogy in the EFL context,unraveling how it works as a way of"doing"in second language(L2)teaching and learning,identifying the probable contexts of critical pedagogy and the contesta tions surrounding critical pedagogy,aims to address the significance of implementing critical pedagogy as an effective way of re forming the ailing English education condition in China.  相似文献

Learner autonomy is considered as one of the key educational goals in all the countries of the world since 1980s.In China,developing learner autonomy is particularly emphasized in College English Curriculum Requirements.Some researches have been made on developing learner autonomy,which seem to prove that the training of language learning strategies helps to develop learner autonomy.But because the traditional teaching method has been dominant in universities,college students,in particular art majors are passive and lose interests in English.Consequently,English teaching method must be reformed and learn er autonomy must be developed.In the relevant researches on learning strategy training and the development of learner autono my,the subjects are not involved in art majors.So the author tries to make a research in the field by combining with her teaching experience.Developing learner autonomy in art majors through the training of metacognitive strategies may lay the basis for their future learning and development,which is important for the college English teaching of art majors.Key wrods:learner autonomy;art majors;metacognitive strategy training  相似文献

This research is attempted to examine universities' academic staffs' curriculum instructional design in the teaching and learning process in applying the technology enhanced classroom (TEC) learning. The universities have embarked on a costly project to create an innovative and creative learning and teaching environment to promote and establish a state-of-the-art, smart, efficient, effective and high quality education. The teaching and learning culture of universities have great influence on determining the level of students' achievement. Seven dimensions of public universities in Malaysia were examined to determine the percentage of academic staffs' self-efficacy in the application of TEC learning. There is a significant difference among factors concerning the academic staffs' self-efficacy in their teaching and learning processes in the classroom management. Their self-preparedness in using the provided technology is closely related to the experiences and practicality of the teaching materials. This study represents an addition to the extant literature on universities' academic staffs' self-efficacy in the application of TEC learning. Academic staffs' self-efficacy in using TEC learning instructional design is of the utmost important to disseminate knowledge to students, which will also fully help utilize the government's effort in providing technology to the additional instructional design, so as to achieve high quality education and technological enhance education to pave the way to achieve a techno-education environment for all public universities in Malaysia. This study provides furtber groundwork to assist existing tertiary educational managers to improve smart teaching and learning environment and to retain high quality academic staffs in the day-to-day classroom curriculum.  相似文献

The challenges of writing itself and lack of appropriate teaching methodology demotivate EFL (English as a Foreign Language) learners in some Chinese universities to write more, especially as the only incentive for students to write is the compulsory tests. The main objectives of this article are: (1) to discuss the background of the EFL learners in Chinese tertiary education and then to elaborate on their needs and problems for EFL writing; (2) to review the existing approaches to teaching writing; and (3) to propose and justify an integrated model on the basis of these approaches for teaching EFL writing in the Chinese context.  相似文献

心血管专科护士的日常护理工作在心血管疾病的治疗和康复过程中起着重要的作用。但目前我国高校心血管专业方向护生培养还存在人才培养方案不够科学、师资缺乏、实践设备设施不足等问题。武汉亚心医院与相关高校在合作培养心血管专业方向护生的实践中,共同制定人才培养方案、共同进行课程体系设计、共同编写教材、共同探讨教学模式、共同设计教学方法、共同检讨教学效果等,收到了较好的成效。  相似文献
