Biochanin A(BCA) and CPe-Ⅲ peptide, which both exist in chickpea(Cicer arietinum L.), possess significant antihyperlipidemic properties. However, the actualmechanisms ofthose compounds in inhibiting the dysregulation oflipid metabolism and complicated inflammation have not been wellcharacterized. This study investigated the effects ofBCA, CPe-Ⅲ peptide, and combined BCA and CPe-Ⅲ peptide(BC) on the expression ofgenes involved in hepatic lipid and inflammation metabolism. Results demonstrated that BCA, CPe-Ⅲ peptide, and BC significantly attenuated hepatitis and hyperlipidemia by downregulating those genes involved in pro-inflammatory cytokines(TNF-α), hepatic fatty acid(FA) synthesis(ACC1 and FAS), cholesterolmetabolism(SREBP2, HMGCR, and PCSK9), and upregulating key regulators involved in FA oxidation(PPARα and FABP1), lipolysis(ATGL), LDLR, reverse cholesteroltransport(ABCA1, SR-B1, and LXRα), and cholesterolcatabolism(CYP7 A1). Moreover, they also altered the expression oflipid metabolism-related proteins, including SREBP2, PCSK9, LDLR, ABCA1, and CYP7 A1. Finally, these results revealed that the combination treatment ofBCA and CPe-Ⅲ peptide resulted in greater antihyperlipidemic activity compared with individualcompounds. 相似文献

Objective: To assess the associations between body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), and cardiometabolic risk factors in young and middle-aged Chinese women. Methods: A total of 3011 women (1938 young women, 1073 middle-aged women), who visited our health care center for a related health checkup, were eligible for study. BMI and WC were measured. The subjects were divided into normal and overweight/obesity groups based on BMI, and normal and abdominal obesity groups based on WC. Cardiometabolic variables included triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), fasting blood glucose (FBG), homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), and blood pressure (BP). Results: The prevalence of overweight/obesity was significantly higher in middle-aged women (32.4%) than in young women (12.0%). The prevalence of abdominal obesity was also higher in middle-aged women (60.3%) than in young women (36.2%). There were significant differences in the comparison of all related cardiometabolic variables between different BMI (or WC) categories in young and middle- aged women groups, respectively. After adjustment for age, partial correlation analysis indicated that both BMI and WC were correlated significantly with all related cardiometabolic variables. After adjustment for age and WC, although the correlation coefficient r′was attenuated, BMI was still correlated significantly with all related cardiometabolic variables in young and middle-aged women. After adjustment for age and BMI, partial correlation analysis showed that WC was correlated significantly with TG, FBG, HOMA-IR, and HDL-C in young women and significantly with TG, HOMA-IR, and HDL-C in middle-aged women. Conclusions: The prevalence of overweight/obesity and abdominal obesity was high in Chinese young and middle-aged women. BMI was a better predictor of cardiovascular disease and diabetes than WC in young and middle-aged women, and moreover, measurement of both WC and BMI may be a better predictor of cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus than BMI or WC alone. 相似文献

Objectives: To directly compare the quality of harmonic imaging (HI) and fundamental imaging (FI) in fetal echocardiography and to determine any differences in image quality between the two modalities. Methods: Fetal echocardiograms were performed with the use of FI and HI in 58 fetuses, image quality and visualization of left and right atria, left and right ventricles, mitral and tricuspid valves, aortic and pulmonary valves, left and right ventricular outflow tracts were evaluated and compared between FI and HI. Results: Mean HI scores were higher than mean FI scores (2.73±0.43 vs 2.16±0.69, P<0.001)for all the cardiovascular structures evaluated. Compared with FI, HI improved the image quality and visualization of fetal cardiac structures in subjects with both good (2.73±0.43 vs 2.88±0.32, P<0.001) and suboptimal (1.65±0.41 vs 2.58±0.47, P<0.001) echocardiographic windows. The interobserver correlation coefficient for the grading scores was 0.74 (P<0.001). Conclusions: harmonic imaging enhances and improves the image quality of fetal echocardiography; and has important potential role in cardiac imaging in the fetus. 相似文献

In this paper, we discuss some basic properties of the Orlicz-Bochner sequence space lM (X) and its subspace hM (X). We present the equivalent definition of hM (X), the sufficient and necessary conditions under which l(M) (X) is complete, and lM (X) and hM (X) are separable respectively, and also give the sufficient condition that hM (X) has a basis.
