The main contribution of this paper is to develop an adaptive output-feedback control approach for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with unknown time-varying delays in the pure-feedback form. Both the non-affine nonlinear functions and the unknown time-varying delayed functions related to all state variables are considered. These conditions make the controller design difficult and challenging because the output-feedback controller should be designed using only the output information. In order to overcome these conditions, we design an observer-based adaptive dynamic surface controller where the time-delay effects are compensated by using appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and the function approximation technique using neural networks. A first-order filter is added to the control input to avoid the algebraic loop problem caused by the non-affine structure. It is proved that all the signals in the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly bounded and the tracking error converges to an adjustable neighborhood of the origin.  相似文献

This paper investigates a finite-time consensus issue for non-affine pure-feedback multi-agent systems with dead-zone input. Compared with the existing results on multi-agent systems, finite-time consensus problem of non-affine multi-agent systems is proposed for the first time. Based on the backsteppting technique, adaptive finite-time consensus control scheme is presented. With the help of this strategy, adaptive virtual variables, adaptive laws and the actual controller are designed to guarantee that the consensus errors converge to a small scale of the origin in finite time. Finally, a practical example is applied to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy fixed time control scheme is developed for stochastic pure-feedback nonlinear systems with full state constraints. The mean value theorem is exploited to deal with the problem of nonaffine appearance in the systems and transform the structure of pure-feedback to the structure of strict-feedback. The barrier Lyapunov functions are constructed to guarantee that all states in the systems maintain within the prescribed constraints and the fuzzy logic systems are employed to approximate unknown nonlinear functions at each step. Then, an adaptive fuzzy fixed time controller is constructed by utilizing backstepping technique, which guarantees that all the signals in the considered systems are semiglobally uniform ultimately bounded in a fixed time. Finally, the validity of the proposed fixed time control scheme is verified via a simulation example.  相似文献

This paper investigates adaptive practical finite-time stabilization for a class of switched nonlinear systems in pure-feedback form. Under some appropriate assumptions, a controller and adaptive laws are designed by using adding a power integrator technique, and neural networks are employed to approximate unknown nonlinear functions. It is proved that all states of the closed-loop system converge to a small neighborhood of the origin in finite time. Finally, two simulations are provided to show the feasibility and validity of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with finite-time stabilization of a class of pure-feedback systems with dead-zone input. A systematic design procedure is established to derive the finite-time controller. Firstly, to circumvent the difficulties arising from the nonaffine properties, through a change of coordinates and incorporating mean value theorem, a system transformation technique is introduced to convert the original nonaffine system into an affine one. Then, based on the strengthened finite-time Lyapunov stability theorem as well as utilizing the bounds of dead-zone parameters, the finite-time stabilizer is explicitly constructed via backstepping design approach. It is proven that the designed controller can ensure all the states of the closed-loop system converge to zero in a finite time and maintain at zero afterwards. The proposed design framework is also extended to finite-time stabilization of uncertain pure-feedback systems and finite-time tracking control of pure-feedback systems. The effectiveness of the theoretical results are finally demonstrated by a numerical example and a realistic example.  相似文献

Implementing human-like learning and control for nonlinear dynamical systems operating in different control situations is an important and challenging issue. This paper presents a pattern-based neural network (NN) control strategy for nonlinear pure-feedback systems via deterministic learning (DL). Firstly, an appropriately designed adaptive neural dynamic surface controller is proposed to achieve the finite time tracking control. By analyzing the recurrent property of NN input signals, a partial persistent excitation (PE) condition for radial basis function (RBF) network is established, the implicit desired control dynamics under different control situations are accurately identified via DL in the case that the dimension of NN input is reduced. And a set of pattern-based experienced actual and virtual controllers is constructed using the learned knowledge. Secondly, to classify different control situations, when the system is operating in different control situations but controlled by current normal experienced controller, the dynamics of each subsystem are accurately identified via DL, n sets of dynamical estimators are constructed using the learned knowledge. Thirdly, in the recognition phase, n sets of residuals are achieved by comparing each set of estimators with the monitored system, sudden change in the control situation is rapidly recognized based on the principle of the earliest occurrence of the minimum residual. Finally, in the control phase, according to the recognition result, the correct experienced actual and virtual controllers will be selected to control the plant, guaranteed stability and superior control performance are achieved without any further re-adaptation online. Simulation studies are given to verify the proposed scheme can not only acquire and memorize knowledge like humans, but also reuse the learned knowledge to achieve rapid recognition and control of current control situation.  相似文献

This paper presents a simplified design methodology for robust event-driven tracking control of uncertain nonlinear pure-feedback systems with input quantization. All nonlinearities and quantization parameters are assumed to be completely unknown. Different from the existing event-driven control approaches for systems with completely unknown nonlinearities, the main contribution of this paper is to design a simple event-based tracking scheme with preassigned performance, without the use of adaptive function approximators and adaptive mirror models. It is shown in the Lyapunov sense that the proposed event-driven low-complexity tracker consisting of nonlinearly transformed error surfaces and a triggering condition can achieve the preselected transient and steady-state performance of control errors in the presence of the input quantization.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of adaptive fuzzy fault-tolerant control is investigated for a class of switched uncertain pure-feedback nonlinear systems under arbitrary switching. The considered actuator failures are modeled as both lock-in-place and loss of effectiveness. By utilizing mean value theorem, the considered pure-feedback systems are transformed into a class of switched nonlinear strict-feedback systems. Under the framework of backstepping design technique and common Lyapunov function (CLF), an adaptive fuzzy fault-tolerant control (FTC) method with predefined performance bounds is developed. It is proved that under the proposed controller, all the signals of the close-loop systems are bounded and the state tracking error for each step remains within the prescribed performance bound (PPB) regardless of actuator faults and the system switchings. In addition, the tracking errors and magnitudes of control inputs can be reduced by adjusting the PPB parameters of errors in the first and last steps. The simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper investigates the fixed-time neural network adaptive (FNNA) tracking control of a quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (QUAV) to achieve flight safety and high efficiency. By combining radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) with fixed time adaptive sliding mode algorithm, a novel radial basis function neural network adaptive law is proposed. In addition, an extended state/disturbance observer (ESDO) is proposed to solve the problem of unmeasurable state and external interference, which can obtain reliable state feedback and interference input. Unlike most other ESO applications, this paper does not set the uncertainty model and external disturbances as total disturbances. Instead, the external disturbances are observed by extending the states and the observed states are fed back to the controller to cancel the disturbances. In view of the time-varying resistance coefficient and inertia torque in the QUAV model, the neural network is introduced so that the controller does not need to consider these nonlinear uncertainties. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the coupled non-simplified QUAV model.  相似文献

This paper addresses the distributed adaptive output-feedback tracking control problem of uncertain multi-agent systems in non-affine pure-feedback form under a directed communication topology. Since the control input is implicit for each non-affine agent, we introduce an auxiliary first-order dynamics to circumvent the difficulty in control protocol design and avoid the algebraic loop problem in control inputs and the unknown control gain problem. A decentralized input-driven observer is applied to reconstruct state information of each agent, which makes the design and synthesis extremely simplified. Based on the dynamic surface control technique and neural network approximators, a distributed output-feedback control protocol with prescribed tracking performance is derived. Compared with the existing results, the restrictive assumptions on the partial derivative of non-affine functions are removed. Moreover, it is proved that the output tracking errors always stay in a prescribed performance bound. The simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper presents a new Takagi-Sugeno-Kang fuzzy Echo State Neural Network (TSKFESN) structure to design a direct adaptive control for uncertain SISO nonlinear systems. The proposed TSKFESN structure is based on the echo state neural network framework containing multiple sub-reservoirs. Each sub-reservoir is weighted with a TSK fuzzy rule. The adaptive law of the TSKFESN-based direct adaptive controller is derived by using a fractional-order sliding mode learning algorithm. Moreover, the Lyapunov stability criterion is employed to verify the convergence of the fractional-order adaptive law of the controller parameters. The evaluation of the proposed direct adaptive control scheme is verified using two case studies, the regulation problem of a torsional pendulum and the speed control of a direct current (DC) machine as a real-time application. The simulation and the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the problem of adaptive output feedback control for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with input delay and disturbances. Radial basis function neural networks (NNs) are employed to approximate the unknown functions and an NN observer is constructed to estimate the unmeasurable system states. Moreover, an auxiliary system is introduced to compensate for the effect of input delay. With the aid of the backstepping technique and Lyapunov stability theorem, an adaptive NN output feedback controller is designed which can guarantee the boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop systems. Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the consensus tracking control problem of a class of strict-feedback multi-agent systems (MASs) with uncertain nonlinear dynamics, input saturation, output and partial state constraints (PSCs) which are assumed to be time-varying. An adaptive distributed control scheme is proposed for consensus achievement via output feedback and event-triggered strategy in directed networks containing a spanning tree. To handle saturated control inputs, a linear form of the control input is adopted by transforming the saturation function. The radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) is applied to approximate the uncertain nonlinear dynamics. Since the system outputs are the only available data, a high-gain adaptive observer based on RBFNN is constructed to estimate the unmeasurable states. To ensure that the constraints of system outputs and partial states are never violated, a barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) with time-varying boundary function is constructed. Event-triggered control (ETC) strategy is applied to save communication resources. By using backstepping design method, the proposed distributed controller can guarantee the boundedness of all system signals, consensus tracking with a bounded error and avoidance of Zeno behavior. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical results is verified by computer simulation.  相似文献

Auto-structuring fuzzy neural system for intelligent control   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
An auto-structuring fuzzy neural network-based control system (ASFNS), which includes the auto-structuring fuzzy neural network (ASFNN) controller and the supervisory controller, is proposed in this paper. The ASFNN is used as the main controller to approximate the ideal controller and the supervisory controller is incorporated with the ASFNN for coping with the chattering phenomenon of the traditional sliding-mode control. In the ASFNS, an automatic structure learning mechanism is proposed for network structure optimization, where two criteria of node-adding and node-pruning are introduced. It enables the ASFNN to determine the nodes autonomously while ensures the control performance. In the ASFNS, all the parameters are evolved by the means of the Lyapunov theorem and back-propagation to ensure the system stability. Thus, an intelligent control approach for adaptive control is presented, where the structure and parameter can be evolved simultaneously. The proposed ASFNS features the following salient properties: (1) on-line and model-free control, (2) relax design in controller structure, (3) overall system stability. To investigate the capabilities, the ASFNS is applied to a kind of nonlinear system control. Through the simulation results the advantages of the proposed ASFNS can be validated.  相似文献

The operational space control of a robot manipulator using external sensors requires stabilizing the compound system {external sensors - outer controller - inner controller - robot manipulator}. The user must access the inner controller to reshape it to achieve this stabilization. Due to intellectual property protection purposes, most industrial robots have an unknown or inaccessible inner controller. Therefore, it is tricky to design a stable control scheme. To solve this problem, an adaptive radial basis function neural network (RBF NN) outer controller is proposed, which approximates the inner controller’s dynamics to eliminate its effect in the closed-loop. An inherent property for RBF NN is used to reduce the number of adaptive parameters. Since this technique introduces approximation errors, it is included in the control scheme, a term that constrains the system to converge rapidly to the performances prescribed by the user. It is proved that all the closed-loop signals are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) through Lyapunov theory. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified through simulation comparisons and experimental studies.  相似文献

In this paper, the development and experimental validation of a novel double two-loop nonlinear controller based on adaptive neural networks for a quadrotor are presented. The proposed controller has a two-loop structure: an outer loop for position control and an inner loop for attitude control. Similarly, both position and orientation controllers also have a two-loop design with an adaptive neural network in each inner loop. The output weight matrices of the neural networks are updated online through adaptation laws obtained from a rigorous error convergence analysis. Thus, a training stage is unnecessary prior to the neural network implementation. Additionally, an integral action is included in the controller to cope with constant disturbances. The error convergence analysis guarantees the achievement of the trajectory tracking task and the boundedness of the output weight matrix estimation errors. The proposed scheme is designed such that an accurate knowledge of the quadrotor parameters is not needed. A comparison against the proposed controller and two other well-known schemes is presented. The obtained results showed the functionality of the proposed controller and demonstrated robustness to parametric uncertainty.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the distributed formation control problem of multi-quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the framework of event triggering. First, for the position loop, an adaptive dynamic programming based on event triggering is developed to design the formation controller. The critic-only network structure is adopted to approximate the optimal cost function. The merit of the proposed algorithm lies in that the event triggering mechanism is incorporated the neural network (NN) to reduce calculations and actions of the multi-UAV system, which is significant for the practical application. What’s more, a new weight update law based on the gradient descent technology is proposed for the critic NN, which can ensure that the solution converges to the optimal value online. Then, a finite-time attitude tracking controller is adopted for the attitude loop to achieve rapid attitude tracking. Finally, the efficiency of the proposed method is illustrated by numerical simulations and experimental verification.  相似文献

In this study, an adaptive fractional order sliding mode controller with a neural estimator is proposed for a class of systems with nonlinear disturbances. Compared with traditional sliding mode controller, the new proposed fractional order sliding mode controller contains a fractional order term in the sliding surface. The fractional order sliding surface is used in adaptive laws which are derived in the framework of Lyapunov stability theory. The bound of the disturbances is estimated by a radial basis function neural network to relax the requirement of disturbance bound. To investigate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive neural fractional order sliding mode controller, the methodology is applied to a Z-axis Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) gyroscope to control the vibrating dynamics of the proof mass. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control system can improve tracking performance as well as parameter identification performance.  相似文献

This paper investigates the adaptive attitude tracking problem for the rigid satellite involving output constraint, input saturation, input time delay, and external disturbance by integrating barrier Lyapunov function (BLF) and prescribed performance control (PPC). In contrast to the existing approaches, the input delay is addressed by Pade approximation, and the actual control input concerning saturation is obtained by utilizing an auxiliary variable that simplifies the controller design with respect to mean value methods or Nussbaum function-based strategies. Due to the implementation of the BLF control, together with an interval notion-based PPC strategy, not only the system output but also the transformed error produced by PPC are constrained. An adaptive fuzzy controller is then constructed and the predesigned constraints for system output and the transformed error will not be violated. In addition, a smooth switch term is imported into the controller such that the finite time convergence for all error variables is guaranteed for a certain case while the singularity problem is avoided. Finally, simulations are provided to show the effectiveness and potential of the proposed new design techniques.  相似文献

This work aims to design a neural network-based fractional-order backstepping controller (NNFOBC) to control a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle (QUAV) system under uncertainties and disturbances and unknown dynamics. First, we investigated the dynamic of QUAV composed of six inter-connected nonlinear subsystems. Then, to increase the convergence speed and control precision of the classical backstepping controller (BC), we design a fractional-order BC (FOBC) that provides further degrees of freedom in the control parameters for every subsystem. Besides, designing control is a challenge as the FOBC requires knowledge of accurate mathematical model and the physical parameters of QUAV system. To address this problem, we propose an adaptive approximator that is a radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) included in FOBC to fix the unknown dynamics problem which results in the new approach NNFOBC. Furthermore, a robust control term is introduced to increase the tracking performance of a reference signal as parametric uncertainties and disturbances occur. We have used Lyapunov's theorem to derive adaptive laws of control parameters. Finally, the outcoming results confirm that the performance of the proposed NNFOBC controller outperforms both the classical BC , FOBC and a neural network-based classical BC controller (NNBC) and under parametric uncertainties and disturbances.  相似文献
