A career workshop that applies models of the Cognitive Information Processing Approach (Sampson, Reardon, Peterson, &; Lenz, 2004) and incorporates critical ingredients (Brown and Ryan Krane, 2000) to promote the career choice readiness of young adolescents was developed and evaluated with 334 Swiss students in seventh grade applying a Solomon four group design with a three-month follow-up. Participants significantly increased their performance in terms of career decidedness, career planning, career exploration, and vocational identity. Implications for evaluation research and counselling practice are presented.  相似文献

高职生就业率与就业质量近年来成为高职院校需要解决的首要问题。职业生涯教育在这个过程中扮演非常重要的角色。高职职业生涯教育存在多种问题:高职生在职业意识上存在多种缺失;学校职业生涯教育的内容、师资与教学手段都跟不上学生的需求;企业在招聘时对待高职生的不公以及对岗位要求不明确;政府在就业、校企与家校合作、毕业生就业以及拨款角色不到位以及父母在子女就业的态度偏差,未发挥积极作用。针对以上问题,高职职业生涯教育应该完善职业生涯教育合作机制,建立生涯规划的服务网络体系;优化职业生涯教育师资结构,建立多方评价机制;改革职业生涯教育的内容与形式,重视职业生涯教育的人文要素;吸取职业生涯教育国际经验,将职业生涯教育作为国家人力资源开发的重要战略措施。  相似文献

职业生涯规划规划教育是职业教育的重要组成部分,也是高职学生提升核心竞争力、促进未来职业发展的重要手段。基于高职学生的调查数据分析得出高职学生职业规划能力主要由自我认知能力、环境认知能力、目标决策能力和规划实施能力四个因子构成;高职学生的职业环境认知能力和职业规划实施能力相对较弱;高职学生职业规划能力在性别、社会实践、社团活动、职业规划辅导等方面均有显著差异。  相似文献

The study investigated the predictive utility of interest profile differentiation, coherence, elevation, congruence, and vocational identity commitment and career maturity (career planning and exploration) on the 10-month interest stability of 292 Swiss eighth-grade students: profile, rank, and level stabilities were assessed. Controlling for socio-demographic and vocational interest type variables, measures of differentiated and coherent vocational interests were significant predictors of profile stability. Interest elevation predicted more rank and level stability. The career development variables explained only a non-significant additional amount of variance in the different stability measures.  相似文献

In this article we focus on the effects of career education and guidance among students (ages 12–19) enrolled in prevocational and secondary vocational education in The Netherlands. Our study included 3,499 students and 166 teachers in 226 classes in 34 schools. The results showed that career competencies positively contributed to learning motivation, experienced quality of study choice, experienced fit of choice with learning tasks, and experienced fit of internship. Career identity positively contributed to career outcomes, and career dialogue contributed more than traditional interventions have with respect to career outcomes.  相似文献

To assess the impact of a holistic career and life planning course on college students, the authors asked 209 students in treatment and control groups to complete measures of career development. A moderation-mediation model was constructed to examine relationships among distal family contexts, children,s cognitive performance and cognitive attitudes, adolescents, proximal family and school settings, and adolescents, aspirations. The sample in the longitudinal study included 250 female and 250 male 16-year-olds and their parents from Adelaide, Australia. The findings from moderation-mediation investigations and from regression surface analyses indicated that (1) distal family contexts moderate the relations among children,s individual characteristics and adolescents, aspirations, (2) the associations between distal family contexts and adolescents, aspirations are mediated, in part, by the adolescents, perceptions of their parents, and teachers, educational capital, (3) there are different patterns for females and males in terms of relationships among distal family contexts, children,s individual characteristics, perceptions of proximal settings, and adolescents, aspirations and (4) there are family-context differences in the linear and curvilinear nature of the relations among individual characteristics, proximal settings, and adolescents, aspirations, that also vary between females and males in those family contexts.  相似文献

比较中专、大专(高职)学制下护理专业学生职业成熟度的差异,对针对性地给他们进行就业指导和职业生涯规划的教育很有必要。运用职业成熟度量表,采取整群随机抽样的方法,对本省某护理职业学院中专一年级、大专一年级、高职二年级、高职五年级的护生进行测试与比较,为我们今后在不同阶段有针对性的开展一系列职业生涯教育活动,帮助他们加深对所学专业的了解,激发和调动他们的学习积极性,促进教学质量的提高,认识当前学习与实现个人职业理想的关系,设计好合理的成才之路等有很大的帮助。  相似文献

Ethnic identity, information about the world of work, and mastery in specific career skills crucially impact the process of career development among minority adolescents. Identity and conflict management skills also affect one of the major stressors experienced by employees today: the work-family conflict. This paper presents a culturally appropriate career intervention program for increasing Israeli Arab adolescents’ self-efficacy to manage work and family roles, and feedback from 15 participants in a preliminary pilot intervention. The program comprised three units: identity exploration, information, and skill transfer. The intervention was grounded in the career development literature on minorities, on work-family conflict research, and on social cognitive career theory. The proposed strategy also included process variables comprising critical career intervention components. The program is seen as having potential for being implemented in other cultural contexts.  相似文献

Using social cognitive career theory, we examined the relationships between parental variables (parental career expectations, adolescent–parent career congruence) and adolescent career aspirations and career actions (planning, exploration) in a sample of Grade 10 Indonesian high school students. We found good support for a model that revealed various routes by which the two parental variables were associated with adolescent career aspirations and career actions, although the main influence of the parental variables was by way of self-efficacy. The findings demonstrate important roles for parental career expectations and adolescent–parent career congruence in adolescents’ career aspirations and actions.  相似文献
