今年,随着由吉卜林动物故事改编的电影《奇幻森林》的上映,《丛林之书》又一次进入读者的关注视野。作为吉卜林动物故事集的代表作,《丛林之书》在愉悦儿童的同时,同样能给予成年人以思想的启迪。法国哲学家米歇尔·福柯曾提出异托邦的空间哲学,主要包含六个特征,本篇论文拟借助福柯的异托邦概念来分析《丛林之书》中的莫格里系列故事,从融合、他者和帝国隐喻三个角度探究该作品背后隐含的思想。 相似文献

While teaching information retrieval techniques on a new educational programme—a Master's programme in applied environmental measurement techniques—given at Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg, Sweden, the need of a multimedia-based package to help the students get through the information jungle became obvious. The main problem was to find information relevant outside the standard course material. It is in this situation we plan to use a multimedia-based guide as a way of helping the students. The guide should also help the teachers involved who are not familiar with the art of retrieving relevant information from the vast amount of information available today. The guide will be incomplete from the start. The idea is to design the guide in such a way that it is easy for the user to extend it according to his/her increased knowledge in the area. 相似文献

Imperial British India is the point of origin for protagonists in both Frances Hodgson Burnett??s The Secret Garden (1911) and Rudyard Kipling??s The Jungle Books (1894?C1895), two influential children??s stories in which late Victorian notions of childhood education and nature converge with those of national and imperial identity. In Burnett??s The Secret Garden, Mary Lennox, orphaned in colonial India, is restored to health only as she is ??schooled?? in the English countryside. Kipling, meanwhile, finds the imperial setting a fine and fitting place to raise his hero Mowgli. In both cases the young protagonists develop physically, spiritually and socially in classrooms of nature outside or parallel to mainstream culture. This paper follows the different ??escapes?? offered characters in these works, while tracing the contours of class structure, gender, family relations, educational standards and imperial identity as experienced in the last decades of the nineteenth century. 相似文献

The 1955 movie Blackboard Jungle portrays the efforts of high school teacher Richard Dadier to overcome his students’ resistance to the regime of the school At the same time, Blackboard Jungle inaugurated the use of rock and roll in movies, thereby heralding the emergence of a distinct youth culture. Representations of youth and schooling were uniquely suited to capture the anxieties that arose out of American familial, economic, and political conflicts in the 1950s. By synthesizing matters of male and state authority in an ambivalent blend of rebellion and social control, Blackboard Jungle articulated the ambiguities of the liberal ideology that schooling and the state more broadly could simultaneously insure individual freedom and contain social conflicts. Blackboard Jungle’s gendered narrative was mirrored in academic research into the causes of juvenile delinquency, in differing career paths for men and women educators, and in attacks on progressive curricula. By combining an examination of the film's narrative and visual technique with an analysis of its reception, this article explores the liberal ideology which has shaped American schooling. 相似文献

诞生于夏初、再现于楚辞的华夏《九歌》从汉代开始，一直被当作“沅湘巫音”解读，根源于其易学结构、巫术原理失传，更与对歌中诸神的误读有关，以易学原理、神话分析为基础，可以发现诸神与八卦的一一对应，并对《九歌》结构意蕴与古代易图核心的统一获得认识。由此发现《九歌》的仪式秘密，即以巫术方式折祷夏民的和谐、安宁、生生不息。而屈原以《国殇》作为楚辞《九歌》仪式高潮而非后人辑《楚辞》时窜入的可能如果成立，就是对其寓意的发挥延续，即祈祷楚国的和平安宁。诗人最后选择一个属于《九歌》的自沉，用生命完成对它的创作。 相似文献

Educationists and researchers who consider the use of the learning style concept to address individual differences in learning are often daunted by the multitude of definitions, models, and instruments. It is difficult to make an informed choice. The confusion with cognitive style, a term often used as a synonym, makes it even more complicated. Reviews of the literature give some direction, but there are a number of arguments why the available reviews raise new problems. In this paper, citation analysis is presented as a technique to develop an alternative organisation of the learning style and cognitive style literature. Application of this technique results in a review that clarifies dominant theoretical orientations in the literature, is helpful to identify the relative impact of different orientations, and helps to illuminate their interrelationships. As such, this alternative review of the literature can serve as a roadmap for novices to the styles field. 相似文献

It explores the current professional and social situation of staff in non-vocational adult education in Germany. It describes the structures and organisations of general adult education in Germany and investigates the types of staff in adult learning institutions, their tasks and qualifications as well as their employment situation. Moreover, it highlights the major challenges for professional development in the adult education sector in Germany.
