[目的/意义]伴随数字化科研的发展,数据馆员成为国内外高校图书馆的一个新型焦点主题。数据馆员服务模式涉及数字馆员的岗位设置、组织管理、服务内容等,对国外高校图书馆数据馆员服务模式进行调研分析和归纳总结,能够为国内高校图书馆设置数据监管岗位、开展数据监管服务提供指导和借鉴。[方法/过程]在调研61所已设置数据馆员岗位的国外高校图书馆数据馆员岗位职责、能力要求基础上,利用典型案例分析法对28所代表性图书馆的数据馆员岗位设置、岗位培训及服务内容进行深入剖析与总结。[结果/结论]总结国外高校图书馆数据馆员组织管理特点以及4个方面的数据服务内容,对国内高校图书馆开展数据监管服务、培养数据监管人才提供参考与借鉴。 相似文献

ABSTRACTWhat is the role and purpose of the academic library in the 21st century? Increasingly, this question is being asked on campuses around the country. The thesis of this article is that academic libraries will continue to play a vital role on campus, provided they align their services to the research and discovery missions of their respective institutions. If this is true, a clear definition of the research lifecycle now becomes a strategy roadmap, allowing academic libraries to see the bigger picture as well as the sweep of research services they might offer. The case for crafting the library's strategic plan around the research lifecycle is presented in four parts in this article. In part one, a review of the literature is presented, specifically that having to do with the continuing imperative of academic libraries to practice strategic alignment. An exploration of the increasing importance of the research experience in higher education is then presented in part two, followed by a detailed look at the research lifecycle. And finally, an overview of strategic opportunities and partners is presented in a final section. 相似文献

This article provides an updated overview of medical libraries in Romania, with a focus on the academic libraries which function under the patronage of medical schools. [目的/意义]研究高校图书馆科研数据联盟的建设策略。[方法/过程]利用案例研究法分析荷兰3所高校图书馆共同建设的科研数据联盟3TU.Datacentrum,介绍其发展历程、数据资源建设、系统平台、服务方式,并分析其基本特点。[结果/结论]3TU.Datacentrum数据联盟具有图书馆主导、集中建设、一体化服务、广泛合作交流等突出特点,结合我国高校科研数据管理与共享现状,提出如下建设策略:应充分发挥图书馆的作用,立足于数据共享现实需求和科研管理政策要求,建立我国高校图书馆数据联盟,借此提高我国科研数据的质量与影响力,并合作开展数据管理专业教育等相关工作。研究结果对于我国高校图书馆科研数据联盟的建设发展具有重要参考价值。 相似文献

Teaching medical information retrieval and application courses in Chinese universities: a case study
An important aspect of Chinese academic health science libraries is their involvement in teaching medical information retrieval courses as part of the medical curriculum. Health science librarians in China have a more formal teaching role than is generally found in Western countries, including many full-time teaching positions. This article provides a case study of Kunming Medical University Library, where courses are provided as credit units at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The teaching practices of Chinese health science libraries are compared with teaching experiences reported in Western countries. It is noted that Chinese government's educational policy is similar to that of the United States in promoting the role of the library in teaching subjects as part of the medical curriculum. In China, this has lead to the development of teaching departments within health science libraries and the appointment of full and part-time teacher librarians. 相似文献

Two years after the initial 2002 study, a greater number of academic health science libraries are offering digital reference chat services, and this number appears poised to grow in the coming years. This 2004 follow-up study found that 36 (27%) of the academic health science libraries examined provide digital chat reference services; this was an approximately 6% increase over the 25 libraries (21%) located in 2002. Trends in digital reference services in academic health science libraries were derived from the exploration of academic health science library Web sites and from digital correspondence with academic health science library personnel using e-mail and chat. [目的/意义]Data curation(DC)是当今图书情报领域的重要研究热点之一,系统梳理国内DC研究的现状,提出未来研究中值得关注的问题,可以为国内DC的后续研究提供一定的参考借鉴。[方法/过程]以CNKI为来源数据库,检索并整理国内2011年1月至2015年12月间发表的全部论文,采用内容分析法对研究主题进行分析、归纳和总结;重点从DC内涵、图书馆服务创新、角色定位与策略、教育与职业发展、机构知识库建设和对国内图书馆的借鉴意义等6个方面进行深入分析和评述。[结果/结论]研究结果表明:①国内DC研究具有对DC的兴起与发展敏感性低、研究不断深入、研究成果增长迅速和重视度不断提高、核心作者和核心团队初步形成以及研究主体集中等特点;②未来国内DC研究应加强其7个方面的研究工作:①内涵认识和概念界定;②服务创新;③角色定位与策略;④职业教育;⑤实践应用;⑥工作开展的信息伦理困境与对策;⑦交流与合作。 相似文献

随着信息技术的发展与普及,全球学术交流模式总体朝着开放获取的趋势发展,信息时代的科学活动需要更多的数据开放和共享。开放数据是公众参与科学、推动社会进步的必要条件。无论是对于图书馆工作还是对于信息服务、知识服务来说,科研模式的变革都是一种新的挑战。与此同时,在此背景下,也产生了一种新的机遇,即与科研数据管理相关的一系列新内容,包括:明确科研数据管理各利益方;明确数据管理服务的主要内容;塑造科研数据开放共享文化,开展各个利益相关者之间的数据对话;进行科学数据开放共享各个环节的政策研究;明确数据馆员发挥的作用和职业价值。表6。参考文献70。 相似文献
