2013年,中国科学技术协会、财政部、教育部、国家新闻出版广电总局、中国科学院、中国工程院六部门联合出台了“中国科技期刊国际影响力提升计划”,旨在促进我国科技期刊发展,提升期刊的国际影响力.①这也是国内迄今为止对科技期刊资助力度最大、目标国际化程度最高、影响力最深远的专项支持项目.2016年,第二期项目也已全面展开.② 如何提升科技期刊的国际影响力,不同的期刊有不同的做法.但总的来说,提高科技期刊的影响力应该从涉及期刊质量和宣传的诸多环节人手.  相似文献

中国科技期刊国际影响力提升计划D 类项目支持创办一批能够代表我国前沿学科、优势学科或填补中国学科空白的英文科技期刊.一期(2013—2015 年) D 类项目入选期刊经过几年的努力,在国内外专业学科领域显示出了一定的学术影响力,具有引领示范作用.本文通过对入选期刊办刊进展的梳理,总结新创办英文科技期刊的办刊思路以及实践经验.为二期(2016—2018 年) D 类项目入选期刊以及更大范围新创办的英文科技期刊提供一定的借鉴和参考.  相似文献

文章对"中国科技期刊卓越行动计划"领军期刊和重点期刊载文量与影响力趋势进行评估.运用R语言"trend"包对期刊载文量与期刊影响力进行M-K趋势分析,使用SPSS软件Wilcoxon符号秩检验对领军期刊与重点期刊进行差异分析.结果显示,纳入研究的24种期刊中有22种影响力提升,但仅4种期刊载文量提升;4种载文量上升的期刊中3种影响力提升,1种影响力下降,其他19种载文量保持不变或减少的期刊影响力均提升,还有1种期刊载文量和影响因子变化趋势均不显著.从影响力增长速度来看,领军期刊和重点期刊两者没有显著性差异,但是重点期刊的影响因子增长速度更有潜力.全球科技期刊竞争激烈,对于领军期刊和重点期刊而言,学科排名提升的难度要高于影响因子提升的难度,不同排名区间的期刊上升空间不同.期刊载文量也是反映期刊影响力的一个重要指标,建议各期刊依据自身实际情况合理制定发展目标,在期刊载文量稳步上升的同时提升期刊的影响力.  相似文献

期刊媒体经过这几年的探索和尝试,与新兴媒体的融合取得了显著进展:已经普遍使用新兴传播载体,采取多种方式与新媒体结合,扩大了传播渠道,提升了社会服务能力和专业影响力,也为期刊"走出去"开辟了新渠道;一些期刊利用互联网组建国际作者队伍、审稿队伍,提高了刊物质量,提升了国际影响力和国际合作空间.但是,所取得的进展与中央提出的"建立现代传播体系"的要求还相去甚远,与期刊业自身发展的需要和受众的期待还有很大距离,融合的空间还很大,融合的商业模式正在探索中.目前多数期刊社还处在经营的困境中,很多人对期刊与新兴媒体融合的前景还比较迷茫.因此,我在这里提出期刊媒体和新兴媒体融合中需要正确认识与处理的五个关系.  相似文献

中国科技期刊国际影响力提升计划已经实施4 年.本研究拟对首批资助期刊的实施效果——国际影响力的提升做一比较分析.将2017 年JCR 收录期刊列表中所有的中国出版的 SCI 期刊分为提升计划首批资助期刊与未获资助期刊2 组,收集 2 组期刊2013—2017 年间被引频次与影响因子数据,并进行比较分析.结果发现,在首批获资助的SCI 期刊与未获资助的SCI期刊中,部分期刊的被引频次与影响因子2 个指标不升反降,部分下降幅度超过10%; 首批资助期刊仅被引频次增长率高于未获资助期刊,其影响因子的增长率反而低于未获资助期刊,提示提升计划对资助期刊国际影响力的作用尚不明显.建议6 部委调整有关资助方向和经费使用指导方向与实施细则.  相似文献

中国社科英文期刊是体现我国社会科学研究水平的重要平台。本文以国家社科基金中华学术外译项目2010—2021年资助的社科英文期刊为基础数据,从资助体系、资助效益、期刊发展水平、期刊学术影响力四个方面深入分析“外译项目”的发展情况。研究认为,目前该项目还存在资助体制不完善、资助效益不高、资助领域不平衡、各刊学术影响力有待进一步提升等问题。本文建议“外译项目”完善资助体制,提高资助效益,深刻把握输出内容,助力拓展国际传播渠道,提升期刊学术影响力,为构建我国哲学社会科学国际学术话语体系作出更大贡献。  相似文献

探索英文科技期刊提升国际影响力的重要举措,与同行期刊交流参考。以英文期刊《Journal of Marine Science and Application》(JMSA)为例,从聘请外籍主编开启双主编办刊、外籍主编在促进期刊国际化发展的重要举措、期刊国际化发展的显著变化等方面阐述了外籍主编对提升英文期刊国际影响力的重要作用。自双主编办刊以来,《JMSA》国际稿件的质量和比例、国际影响力和认可度显著提升。实践表明,聘请支持期刊发展且具有高影响力外籍主编、充分发挥外籍主编引领作用,能够快速提升英文科技期刊的国际影响力,并大大加快期刊的国际化发展进程。  相似文献

以《中国科学:物理学力学天文学》(英文版)[Science China:Physics Mechanics&Astronomy》(SCPMA)]期刊为例,结合办刊模式的转变,介绍编委会工作重心的调整,以及编辑在稿件审理中的作用.通过将专家办刊调整为专家办刊结合专业办刊的双管模式后,编委的更多工作侧重于约稿和宣传,而编辑部在稿件的评审过程中,尤其是初筛过程中的作用更为明显.模式转变后,期刊的约稿比例明显上升,约稿质量带动期刊的影响力提升,影响因子由2013年的0.864提升至2015年的1.575.同时,编委的宣传带动期刊的品牌效应,使期刊越来越多地展示于各大学术会议,为期刊带来更多关注和高水平投稿.由此可以看出,新形势下模式的转变可促进期刊的更快发展,提升期刊的稿源质量.  相似文献

Corporate publishing organizations face a major practical task in deploying electronic publishing systems (EPS), with little strategic guidance. In response, this discussion focuses on large-scale trends at work in electronic publishing, their impact in a corporate environment, and strategies to address those trends. Specifically, the discussion begins by defining electronic publishing; continues with trends affecting document workflow, components of a situation analysis, and three potential organizational responses to the situation; and ends with a responsive strategy to compete for business in five dimensions: cost, convenience, timeliness, quality, and capability. Jay E. Gillette has worked as a senior technical planner at Bellcore since 1987. Previously he was a consultant in documentation and technical planning and served on the technical communication and humanities faculty of the Colorado School of Mines. Very little research has been conducted to investigate new journal impact factors that have emerged to rank open access (OA) journals as an alternative to the Journal Citation Reports and SCImago Journal & Country Rank. The few existing studies have found these metrics misleading. Our study examined the criteria used by these impact factors to see whether they are fake metrics or represent early efforts for developing new standards to advance journal evaluations. We analysed as many available alternative impact factors as possible and discovered that their methodologies were either unreproducible or based on unreliable or opaque criteria. We hope this study will help shed light on the ecosystem of OA publishing and identify both possibly unprofessional behaviours and potential improvements in bibliometric algorithms.  相似文献

The journal impact factor, as a metric developed in the mid‐1960s by Dr Eugene Garfield and Dr Irving Sher, represents the influence that an ‘average article’ published in a specific journal has on the scholarly discipline and audience that it serves. Originally intended to serve as an equalizer for use by the Institute for Scientific Information® (ISI®) in making comparative evaluations of large and small journals in a particular discipline, the impact factor now has numerous applications for publishers, librarians, and researchers. Ideally, the journal impact factor should be seen by publishers as a useful tool in gauging the effectiveness of their publication product in serving the needs of a particular scholarly community. The significance of a journal impact factor, its appropriate usage by the scholarly publishing community and its extension into the electronic environment are discussed.  相似文献

Robert Baensch documents and discusses the impact of consolidation, not only in publishing itself, but in printing, book distribution and government funding. He also analyzes the impact of declining enrollments in higher education and the growing competition that the video industry (and its concentration) poses to book publishing. Rather than despair, he urges, publishers must attempt to deal with these forces and shape the future. Robert E. Baensch is director of publishing for the American Institute of Physics. Conclusion Threats to professional and scholarly publishers abound since publishing is at a strategic inflection point. The inability of users to identity quality information, the advent of new technologies and services, and the fact that users want a variety of experiences all threaten your well-being. Technology today more than ever has a disruptive impact on publishing. The Internet, printing-on-demand and the e-book are the main drivers of change, impacting all aspects of the publishing value chain—from the way books are published (authors can go direct to the reader), distributed (electronic marketplaces), sold (e-tailers) and read (electronic books). The author examines the context of the publishing industry in which these changes are occurring, describes the main drivers and impacts of these changes and illustrates them with an example from the information publishing industry.
