In this study we examined procedures for assessing model-data fit of item response theory (IRT) models for mixed format data. The model fit indices used in this study include PARSCALE's G2 , Orlando and Thissen's S − X2 and S − G2 , and Stone's χ2* and G2* . To investigate the relative performance of the fit statistics at the item level, we conducted two simulation studies: Type I error and power studies. We evaluated the performance of the item fit indices for various conditions of test length, sample size, and IRT models. Among the competing measures, the summed score-based indices S − X2 and S − G2 were found to be the sensible and efficient choice for assessing model fit for mixed format data. These indices performed well, particularly with short tests. The pseudo-observed score indices, χ2* and G2* , showed inflated Type I error rates in some simulation conditions. Consistent with the findings of current literature, the PARSCALE's G2 index was rarely useful, although it provided reasonable results for long tests. 相似文献

研究旅游发展水平对贫困地区城乡收入差距的影响,对于协调区域发展、促进社会公平具有重要意义。本文以西南地区国家级贫困县为研究对象,基于统计年鉴和统计公报数据,运用门槛回归模型探究2010—2018年旅游发展水平对贫困县城乡收入差距的影响。结果表明:①在研究期内,旅游发展水平提高能够显著缩小贫困县城乡收入差距,但其缩减作用存在单重门槛效应。随着旅游发展水平不断提高,旅游对城乡收入差距的正向影响会显著减弱。②在旅游发展早期阶段,旅游发展水平提高对农村居民人均收入的增收效应优于城镇居民,但旅游发展到一定程度后,旅游发展水平提高对于城镇居民人均收入的增收效应更加明显。③地方财政、地区教育水平和金融发展水平是调节西南地区旅游发展水平与城乡收入差距关系的重要因素。在西南地区内部,各省(市)旅游发展水平对城乡收入差距的作用及其影响因素存在地区异质性。地方财政、产业结构、经济发展水平分别是影响重庆、云南、四川旅游发展水平与城乡收入差距关系的主要因素,而四川旅游发展水平与城乡收入差距的关系受经济发展水平、产业结构、地方财政等多因素综合影响。 相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate Korean children’s environmental literacy levels and the variables that affect their environmental literacy. An instrument, the Environment Literacy Instrument for Korean Children (ELIKC), was developed that measures four different dimensions (knowledge, attitude, behaviour, and skills) using 69 items and 13 demographic variables. The ELIKC was administered to 969 Year 3 students from large cities, medium‐sized cities, and rural areas. The students were given 80 min to answer the questions. Statistical analysis was performed on each of the scales that make up the ELIKC and a multivariate analysis of variance was performed to identify the variables that affect environmental literacy. Results indicate that the correlation between attitude and behaviour is the strongest while that between knowledge and behaviour is the weakest. Also, it was found that gender, parents’ school background, and the source from where students obtain environmental information affect all categories of environmental literacy. 相似文献

Focusing on alcohol-involved social gatherings (i.e. drinking parties), the current study examined the reasons for and outcomes of joining drinking parties and evaluations of them. In studies 1 and 2, Korean workers (n=87) employed in the civil engineering industry and undergraduates (n=103) from various engineering majors provided desirable and undesirable reasons for and outcomes of joining drinking parties with their colleagues (coworkers for working adults and school friends for undergraduates). In studies 3 and 4, Korean workers (n=102) and undergraduates (n=89) evaluated each of the outcomes as either social, personal, or both. In study 5, Korean workers (n=108) and undergraduates (n=111) evaluated how good or bad each outcome type would be. Findings showed that among the five types of the drinking party participation outcomes, the conversation category and the work-/school-life category were the ones for which working adults and undergraduates had similar evaluations. For the group, the hierarchical relationship, and the drinking categories, however, working adults and undergraduates had different evaluations. These and other findings are presented in detail, and the implications thereof are discussed. 相似文献

With the growing worldwide prevalence of private tutoring, the causes and effects of private tutoring have been drawing increasing
attention both academically and policy wise. This study intends to draw policy implications by investigating the determinants
of private tutoring participation of school-aged children and expenditures per child for such private tutoring. The logistic
regression (for participation), OLS, and F.E. panel models (for expenditures) were adopted for the analysis, using the Korean
panel data. The empirical findings indicate that private tutoring for children—both in terms of participation and expenditures—has
a positive correlation with the mother’s educational attainment (preference effect), a negative correlation with the mother’s
employment status (time constraint effect), and a positive correlation with the household income (income effect). 相似文献
