Zusammenfassung Unsere Interviewstudie vergleicht zwei Gruppen von Lehrkr?ften: (1) Lehrkr?fte, die seit mindestens zwei Jahren an einer schulübergreifenden „Lerngemeinschaft“ des Projektes „Chemie im Kontext“ teilgenommen haben. Lerngemeinschaften basieren auf den Annahmen der Theorien des situierten Lernens. Kennzeichnend für sie sind die langfristige Zusammenarbeit und der intensive Austausch von Lehrkr?ften in Bezug auf die Optimierung des eigenen Unterrichtshandelns. (2) Lehrkr?fte, die an einer Fortbildung zu „Chemie im Kontext“ teilgenommen haben, die eher traditionell gestaltet war und aus zwei Workshops bestand. Diese Gruppen wurden in Hinblick auf ihre Kooperationserfahrungen nach Rückkehr an ihre eigenen Schulen und hinsichtlich ihrer überzeugungen zur Kooperation miteinander verglichen. Die insgesamt 69 Leitfadeninterviews wurden mit Hilfe der Inhaltsanalyse (nach Mayring) ausgewertet. Diese Auswertung kommt zu folgenden Ergebnissen: Insgesamt sind die Lehrer/-innen der Lerngemeinschaftsgruppe in vielf?ltigere Kooperationsbeziehungen eingebunden. Ihre überzeugungen zur Kooperation sind differenzierter; sie sehen deutlich st?rker den Nutzen einer arbeitsteiligen Kooperation und ?u?ern deutlicher den Wunsch nach einer Intensivierung der fachlichen Zusammenarbeit an ihrer Schule. Diese Ergebnisse der Studie weisen darauf hin, dass das Anbieten einer gut funktionierenden schulübergreifenden Kooperationsstruktur positive Effekte auf die Intensivierung der fachlichen Zusammenarbeit an den Schulen haben kann.   相似文献

The investigation evaluates the effectiveness of six instructional programmes with Bahraini secondary students in the age range 13‐17. Each programme was concerned with a different aspect of a spatial task in relation to diagrams of three‐dimensional structures. Pre‐tests for each of these different tasks revealed that performance increased significantly with chronological age. All programmes brought about a significant degree of learning over all the age‐groups. However, the pre‐existing differences between the age groups remained after instruction. For the programme concerned with visualising rotations, the 17‐year olds improved their scores significantly more than the 13‐ and 15‐year olds.  相似文献

We compared the effectiveness of topical ketoprofen in Transfersome® gel (IDEA-033) with oral ketoprofen and drug-free Sequessome? vesicles (FLEXISEQ® Sport; TDT 064) in reducing calf muscle soreness. One hundred and sixty eight healthy individuals with a pain score ≥3 (10-point scale) 12–16 h post-exercise (walking down stairs with an altitude of 300–400 m) were randomised to receive IDEA-033 plus oral placebo (two dose groups), oral ketoprofen plus TDT 064, or TDT 064 plus oral placebo. The primary endpoint was muscle soreness reduction from pre-dosing to Day 7. Higher pain scores were recorded with oral ketoprofen plus TDT 064 (mean ± s 462.4 ± 160.4) versus IDEA-033 plus oral placebo (434.7 ± 190.8; = 0.2931) or TDT 064 plus oral placebo (376.2 ± 159.1; P = 0.0240) in the 7 days post-exercise. Recovery from muscle soreness was longer with oral ketoprofen plus TDT 064 (mean 91.0 ± 19.5 h) versus IDEA-033 plus placebo (mean 81.4 ± 22.9 h; P = 0.5964) or TDT 064 plus placebo (mean 78.9 ± 22.8 h; P = 0.0262). In conclusion, ultradeformable phospholipid vesicles ± ketoprofen did not retard recovery from muscle soreness. TDT 064 improves osteoarthritis-related pain and could be of interest as a treatment for joint pain during and post-exercise.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Citation analysis is a popular research method in library science, often used to evaluate collections and instructional services. There are multiple advantages to combining citation analysis with qualitative research methods. This article describes a study in which Capstone projects by graduating undergraduate students in the social sciences were examined using both citation analysis and focus groups. The goal of this research was to gain a greater understanding of the types of sources used by advanced undergraduates in the social sciences, the library-provided availability of those sources, and a sense of how these students find, evaluate, and select sources for their Capstone projects. Notable findings include the heavy reliance of students on journal articles and the large influence of professors and other mentors on students' citation behavior.  相似文献

As educators and members of the academic community, reference librarians should take a proactive stance toward instructing students about the ethics of information use. The authors summarize the best practices found in the existing library literature, consider the context of ethical information use from a global perspective, and make an argument for the role of librarians. Our goal is to provide a guide for librarians attempting to successfully integrate ethical issues, such as intellectual property and academic integrity, into their reference instruction.  相似文献

This article examines the development of reading and mathematical competence in early secondary education and aims at identifying distinct profiles of competence development. Since reading and mathematical competences are highly correlated both cross-sectionally and longitudinally, we expected to find a generalized profile of competence development with students developing parallel in reading and mathematical competences. Moreover, previous research confirmed individuals’ specific focus on one of the two domains, for example, in their interest, self-concept, or motivation. Also, differences in competence levels between both domains were found in cross-sectional studies. Therefore, we hypothesized that additional to the generalized profile, there are specialized profiles of competence development with students developing distinctively faster in one of the two domains. To identify both types of profiles, latent growth mixture modeling was used on a sample of 5,301 students entering secondary education from the German National Educational Panel Study. To demonstrate the robustness of the results, these analyses were repeated using different model specifications and subgroups with higher homogeneity (with students belonging to the highest track, i.e., “Gymnasium”). The results indicate only small to non-existent specialized profiles of competence development in all conditions. This finding of roughly parallel development of reading and mathematical competences throughout early secondary education indicates that potential specializations are less important at this point in students’ educational careers.

Physical education is linked with hopes of health improvement. Especially for children and adolescents who are inactive in leisure, physical education (P.E.) is of great importance. The purpose of this paper is to answer the question whether the health status of inactive children and adolescents differs depending on the number of P.E. lessons attended. This question was analyzed with a sub-sample of the KiGGS (children and adolescents health survey) and MoMo (motoric module) studies of inactive subjects (n=310; age 7–17 years) who were classified into two groups depending on the number of P.E. lessons attended (up to 2 lessons/week; more than 2 lessons/week). Health status was assessed using questionnaires, motor performance tests and laboratory findings. Analyses of variance showed no significant differences between the two groups concerning health parameters.  相似文献

Whereas numerous studies have confirmed the objectivity and reliability of the Allgemeine Sportmotorische Test für Kinder” (AST, a general motor fitness and coordination test for children), examinations of its construct validity reveal that: (1) the few available findings fail to confirm the theoretically predicted distinction between the latent variables of condition and coordination, and (2) no studies so far have examined its item homogeneity, even though the test recommends computing a sum score to provide a general estimate of motor fitness. Confirmatory factor analyses show that the two latent variables condition and coordination cannot be extracted from the AST. Models with different latent variables also cannot be confirmed, too. Analyses based on IRT models, in contrast, reveal that one can distinguish between two qualitative classes of persons who are associated with either better running performance combined with lower throwing performance or better throwing performance combined with lower running performance. Nonetheless, it should be noted that class membership does not remain constant over time. In sum, results based on classical and probabilistic test theory negate the ability assumption underlying the AST. For practical assessments of a skill-specific performance, this means that it only seems justifiable to use a sum score for the locomotion items and a sum score for the object manipulation items.  相似文献

In the past decade, User Experience research and design has gained significant traction in the business world. It also has much to offer to academic libraries. In this framework, the center of attention is always the users and their experience with an organization at all physical and digital touchpoints. User Experience research can be used to discover how patrons interact with the library as well as any potential trouble spots, where patrons become frustrated or even choose not to use the library at all. This research can then be used to inform user-centered design. User Experience research is an iterative process, and the work of discovering how patrons experience the library is never done.  相似文献
