Item analysis is an integral part of operational test development and is typically conducted within two popular statistical frameworks: classical test theory (CTT) and item response theory (IRT). In this digital ITEMS module, Hanwook Yoo and Ronald K. Hambleton provide an accessible overview of operational item analysis approaches within these frameworks. They review the different stages of test development and associated item analyses to identify poorly performing items and effective item selection. Moreover, they walk through the computational and interpretational steps for CTT‐ and IRT‐based evaluation statistics using simulated data examples and review various graphical displays such as distractor response curves, item characteristic curves, and item information curves. The digital module contains sample data, Excel sheets with various templates and examples, diagnostic quiz questions, data‐based activities, curated resources, and a glossary.  相似文献

Robinson, McKay, Katayama, and Fan (Contemporary Educational Psychology, 23, 331–343, 1998) reported that women were underrepresented in terms of authorships, editorial board memberships, and editorships in the field of educational psychology based on membership trends. More recently, Evans, Hsieh, and Robinson (Educational Psychology Review, 17, 263–271, 2005) reported that women had made gains as editors but had not kept pace with organizational membership in terms of authorships and editorial board memberships. Our goal in this paper was to further examine women’s participation in educational psychology journals by extending the datasets of Robinson et al. and Evans et al. The number of female authors per article, particularly those from non-US institutions, has continued to increase. However, consistent with Evans et al., although females are continuing to make numerical gains in both authorships—both primary and secondary—and editorial board memberships, their involvement has not kept pace in relation to membership trends.  相似文献

This paper presents an improved adaptive design strategy for neural-network-based event-triggered tracking of uncertain strict-feedback nonlinear systems. An adaptive tracking scheme based on state variables transmitted from the sensor-to-controller channel is designed via only single neural network function approximator, regardless of unknown nonlinearities unmatched in the control input. Contrary to the existing multiple-function-approximators-based event-triggered backstepping control results with multiple triggering conditions dependent on all error surfaces, the proposed scheme only requires one triggering condition using a tracking error and thus can overcome the problem of the existing results that all virtual controllers with multiple function approximators should be computed in the sensor part. This leads to achieve the structural simplicity of the proposed event-triggered tracker in the presence of unmatched and unknown nonlinearities. Using the impulsive system approach and the error transformation technique, it is shown that all the signals of the closed-loop system are bounded and the tracking error is bounded within pre-designable time-varying bounds in the Lyapunov sense.  相似文献

A robust low-complexity design methodology is presented for global tracking of uncertain high-order nonlinear systems with unknown time-varying delays. In contrast to the existing literature, this paper assumes that nonlinear bounding functions of time-delay nonlinearities and high powers of virtual and actual control variables are unknown. Furthermore, a delay-independent tracking scheme using nonlinearly transformed error surfaces is simply designed without the knowledge of nonlinear bounding functions of model nonlinearities, the adaptive technique, and the calculation of repeated time derivatives of certain signals. Thus, the proposed tracker is implemented with low complexity. It is recursively shown that the tracking error is preserved within the predefined bounds of transient and steady-state performance in the Lyapunov sense.  相似文献

This paper presents a simplified design methodology for robust event-driven tracking control of uncertain nonlinear pure-feedback systems with input quantization. All nonlinearities and quantization parameters are assumed to be completely unknown. Different from the existing event-driven control approaches for systems with completely unknown nonlinearities, the main contribution of this paper is to design a simple event-based tracking scheme with preassigned performance, without the use of adaptive function approximators and adaptive mirror models. It is shown in the Lyapunov sense that the proposed event-driven low-complexity tracker consisting of nonlinearly transformed error surfaces and a triggering condition can achieve the preselected transient and steady-state performance of control errors in the presence of the input quantization.  相似文献

研究探讨一次性有氧运动对状态焦虑的影响。12名实验对象被分成3组分3天分别进行3个不同运动强度、即45%VO2peak,60%VO2peak,75%VO2peak的20min跑台实验。运动前后分别测试体温、血压和心理问卷测试。结果表明大强度的一次性运动(75%VO2peak)可有效地降低状态焦虑,其作用机制可能与体温的上升和中枢神经的内啡肽分泌增加有关。由于收缩压的降低随状态焦虑同步变化,建议收缩压可作为评价状态焦虑变化的生物学指标之一。  相似文献

Comparing popular education in the Philippines and South Korea, it is clear that a number of similarities and differences exist regarding the characteristics, methods, and main fields in which popular education has operated. ‘Church-related practices,’ ‘uniting with CO movements,’ ‘an eliteled tendency,’ and ‘a disregard for the Left’ have all occurred in similar ways in both countries. While introducing the socio-political situation during 1970s and 1980s of these two countries, this paper discusses the theories and practices of popular education. Our findings indicate how popular education in both countries has played a significant role in raising the levels consciousness in the powerless and transforming societies and enabled them to establish a better community. Moreover, each country developed different concepts, initiatives and methods in relation to popular education. In addition, popular educators have been asked to play different roles in each popular education field while most methods were in fact heavily dependent upon eliteled practices.  相似文献

Reinforcement learning involves a tight coupling of reward‐associated behavior and a type of learning that is very different from that promoted by education. However, the emerging understanding of its underlying processes may help derive principles for effective learning games that have, until now, been elusive. This article first reviews findings from cognitive neuroscience and psychology to provide insight into the motivating role of uncertain reward in games, including educational games. Then, a short experiment is reported to illustrate the potential of reward‐based neurocomputational models of behavior in the understanding and development of effective learning games. In this study, a reward‐based model of behavior is shown to predict recall of newly learned information during a simple learning game.  相似文献

Today's restoration and preservation of cultural heritage is an important task because of its historical significance, symbolism, and economic benefits. Decision makers or executors often encounter with taking decisions on which heritage is prioritized to be restored within the limited budget. However, very few tools are available to determine appropriately restoration priorities for the diverse historical heritages, perhaps because of a lack of systematized decision-making aids. This paper proposes an alternative decision support model to prioritize restoration needs within the executable budget. The model is constructed on stochastic analytic hierarchy process (S-AHP) and knowledge-based experience curve (EC); the former requires the input data to be random variables for interpreting probabilistically the ranks of the prioritized heritages and the latter reflects quantitatively the contribution of experts’ knowledge to weighting significant criteria in carrying out an assessment of restoration urgency. The application of 14 cultural heritages in Korea has been conducted, and the results are analyzed to illustrate the model's efficiency.  相似文献
