und Realisierung des deutschen Gro?rechners TR440 bei AEG-Telefunken und den Nachfolgefirmen. Dieser
Teil des Rückblicks besch?ftigt sich mit der Software und der Software-Entwicklung für den
TR440, insbesondere in den Jahren 1965 bis 1974. Es werden technische Highlights der Software behandelt
und Einblicke in die Software-Entwicklung selbst gegeben, insbesondere auch Hintergrundinformationen zu
Einflüssen, Verantwortungen und Entscheidungen. Der Artikel beginnt mit dem TR4, dem Vorg?nger
des TR440, und endet mit den Aktivit?ten für einen TR440-Nachfolger.

Zusammenfassung Wir stellen eine Reihe von innovativen Methoden zur webbasierten multilingualen Fragebeantwortung
in offenen Dom?nen vor. Insbesondere werden neuartige Strategien zur Bestimmung optimaler Antwortkontexte
und zur Extraktion von exakten Antworten auf Basis von sprachunabh?ngigen, datengetriebenen maschinellen
Lernverfahren beschrieben. Es werden zwei alternative Methoden für die crosslinguale Frageanalyse
skizziert mit deren Hilfe für eine Anfrage in einer natürlichen Sprache Antworten in Dokumenten
einer anderen natürlichen Sprache bestimmt werden k?nnen. Alle Methoden sind detailliert evaluiert
und weisen eine vielversprechende Performanz auf.

The use of rural sites to train badly needed primary care providers requires access to sophisticated medical information not traditionally available outside of academic health centers. Medical reference librarians can play a key role in the development of primary care training sites in rural settings. Electronic information technologies, with proactive support from medical reference librarians, can provide current and detailed information without concern for distance from the health science center library. This paper discusses recent developments in technology, describes current challenges to the application of this technology in rural settings, and provides policy recommendations for medical reference librarians to enhance rural primary care training. 相似文献

The purpose of the study was to identify the pattern of publication about women and AIDS in scientific journals. Bradford zones were identified in each of six databases. The study determined that journal scatter for this subset of AIDS literature differed from the scatter in the general literature; further, the information indexed in the six electronic sources demonstrated little overlap. Consequently, key journal and newsletter titles identified by this study should form the core of any collection focusing on women and AIDS. The assurance of quality patient care management demands that librarians consult multiple resources for information retrieval that can assist health care providers, patients, and caregivers to enhance quality of life as well as to provide optimum care. 相似文献
Before planning for provision of Consumer Health Information Services, the librarian and administration must anticipate the problems encountered in sharing funds, personnel, space, and materials with an existing medical or patient education library. Establishing new space within or outside the hospital, or participating in community projects which meet consumer health information needs, are important considerations for planners. This article sets forth the place of some CHI services in the hospital setting, and how they relate to other library services.
