This experiment investigated the effects ofword concreteness and either imagery, verbal,or control strategy instructions on thecomposition of written definitions. Resultsrevealed significant effects of wordconcreteness on several quantity and qualityvariables, but no significant effect ofstrategy instructions or interaction betweenconcreteness and strategy instructions. Results of self-ratings of strategies actuallyused in composing revealed that a mentalimagery strategy was used with concrete wordsand a verbal strategy was used with abstractwords regardless of strategy instructions. Findings replicated the results of Tirre,Manelis and Leicht [(1979) Journal of ReadingBehavior 11, 99–106] in the production ofwritten composition on word relationships, andpartially replicated the results of Sadoski,Kealy, Goetz and Paivio [(1997) Journal of EducationalPsychology 89, 518–526] in the timedwritten production of word definitions. 数字化时代,视听形象以电子文本的广泛传播不但改变着人们的生活观念与生活方式,而且逐渐形成对语言形象的侵扰乃至替代。因此,积极探询数字化语境中文学的应对策略尤为重要。文章认为文学语言形象的“综合形象”化当是必然的选择。“综合形象”不但是语言形象与视听形象的技术融通,更是在审美形态上的融通,同时又是既有网络文学的延展与超越。“综合形象”的文学改变的仅仅是传统文学的存在形式,并不改变文学的精神本质。“综合形象”仍然坚持语言形象的主导性,视听形象既隶属于语言形象又具有相对独立性。  相似文献

The aims of the present study were to identify discrete classes of adolescents based on their reporting of emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional neglect, and physical neglect of several levels of severity using a person-centered analytic approach (i.e., latent class analysis), and to compare the latent classes on 17 dimensions of personality pathology. It was hypothesized that based on types of maltreatment and severity levels within each type there would be discrete latent classes, and that classes of adolescents exposed to a larger number of maltreatment types with higher severity (i.e., moderate–severe) would report higher levels of personality pathology than adolescents in classes exposed to less types with less severity, after controlling for age and gender. Participants were 702 adolescents from Jammu, India (13–17 years, 41.5% females). The latent classes were based on three levels of severity for each type of maltreatment assessed via the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (Bernstein et al., 2003). Four distinct classes of adolescents, namely, Moderate–severe abuse and physical neglect (Class 1), Low to moderate–severe abuse (Class 2), Moderate–severe neglect (Class 3), and Minimal abuse or neglect (Class 4) were found. Classes with higher percentages of adolescents reporting abuse and neglect with higher severity (Classes 1 and 2) reported higher levels of personality pathology than the other classes. There are distinct classes of adolescents’ identifiable based on levels of severity and types of abuse and neglect, which are differentially associated with specific dimensions of personality pathology. Implications for research and practice are discussed.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the potential of mental simulation (mentally rehearsing an action to enhance performance) as a useful contemporary educational method. By means of a meta-review, it is examined which conditions impede or facilitate the effectiveness of mental simulation (MS). A computer search was conducted using Ovid PsycINFO. Reviews, meta-reviews, or meta-analyses published between 1806 and 2006 were included. The current paper presents the results of ten publications in which about 630 studies on mental simulation or mental practice are reviewed. According to the analyses, conditions that influence the effect of MS are the type of skill practiced, personal factors, time per trial, amount of trials, and instructional procedures. Based on these insights, it is reflected upon in which areas MS would be functional with regard to contemporary educational demands, such as for emotional, behavioral, and (other) complex cognitive tasks.  相似文献
