少数民族学生英语学习成败归因的实证研究

提高少数民族学生英语水平一直都是预科英语教学中亟待解决的问题。本文以调查问卷作为研究的依据,以韦纳的成败归因作为研究的理论基础,阐述了成败归因与少数民族学生英语水平之间的关系,在对调查收集的数据运用SPSS（13.0）进行统计分析后,发现学习者更倾向于把学习成败归因于内部因素。在成功归因上,高水平学生比低水平学生更倾向归因于内部因素;在失败归因上,不同水平的学生并无显著差异。  相似文献   

高速轻烃泵轴断裂失效分析

某输送轻烃的高速泵（LMV311-75—69SCSS）在间断运转2333小时后泵轴发生了断裂事故。本文对失效泵轴的化学成分、硬度、金相组织、断口进行了检验和分析,结果发现该泵轴材质成分不均匀,材料组织内形成带状偏析,导致材料轴向强度不足;并详细剖析了此类非金属央杂物对泵轴失效的影响因素。综合分析认定泵轴由于材料本身的缺陷导致了疲劳断裂。为避免泵轴再次发生断裂文中提出了相应的改进措施。  相似文献   

Reliability analysis of a two-dependent-unit parallel system with a standby unit

A parallel system with two active components and a cold standby unit is studied in this paper. The two simultaneously working components are dependent and the copula function is used to model their dependence. An explicit expression is obtained for the mean time to failure of the system in terms of the copula function and marginal lifetime distributions in two different cases As an application, numerical calculations are presented corresponding to two different copula functions and marginal lifetime distributions.  相似文献   

Success in higher education: the challenge to achieve academic standing and social position

When students look at their classmates in the classroom, consciously or unconsciously, they see competitors both for academic recognition and social success. How do they fit in relation to others and how do they succeed in achieving both? Traditional views on the drive to succeed and the fear of failure are well known as motivators for achieving academic success but is it that simple a dichotomy? Do students also view success through a fear of success and a purposeful intent to fail – referred to in this text as the drive to fail? Students recognize the importance of social position in class but how is this perceived and will they sacrifice social position for academic standing or vice versa? This paper considers these issues by analyzing the results of a student survey and opinions offered by the students. Risk assessment based on fault tree analysis for damaged pipe repair during operation in petrochemical plant

In petrochemical plant, the in-operation repairing is usually a repairing strategy with pressured inoperation repairing for avoiding huge economic losses caused by unplanned shutdown when some slight local leakage happens in pipes. This paper studies the effects of repairing strategies on the failure probability of the pipe systems in process industries based on the time-average fault tree approach, especially the in-operation repairing strategies including pressured in-operation repairing activities. The fault tree model can predict the effect of different repairing plans on the pipe failure probability, which is significant to the optimization of the repairing plans. At first pipes are distinguished into four states in this model, i.e., successive state, flaw state, leakage state and failure state. Then the fault tree approach, which is usually applied in the studies of dynamic equipment, is adopted to model the pipe failure. Moreover, the effect of pressured in-operation repairing is also considered in the model. In addition, this paper proposes a series of time-average parameters of the fault tree model, all of which are used to calculate node parameters of the fault tree model. At last, a practical case is calculated based on the fault tree model in a repairing activity of pipe thinning.  相似文献

Only a game? Player misery across game boundaries

Videogames often confront players with frustratingly difficult challenges, fearsome enemies, and tragic stories. As such, they can evoke feelings of failure, sadness, anger, and fear. Although these feelings are usually regarded as undesirable, many players seem to enjoy videogames which cause them. In this paper, I argue that player misery often originates from a fictional or lusory attitude which brackets game events from real-life, making the player’s emotions solely relevant within the game context. As they are part of the game themselves, these negative emotions can be enjoyed and easily relativized, since players can acknowledge that their cause is ‘only a game’. However, there are feelings of misery associated with the playing of videogames which are not caused by either the game’s fiction or challenge. In the last part of this paper, I describe a qualitatively different kind of player misery: one that is caused by elements that are not perceived as part of the game by the player, and is not bracketed from real life by a lusory or fictional attitude.  相似文献
