Based on the former research work of the authors,the resistance of differentsolid particle suspension flow in a vertical pipe is analysed,and investigatedexperimentally.The applicable formulas of pressure drop are presented.Two types of par-ticles,talcum powder and glass beads,are convcyed in the test which has been carried outat various air vclocities of 10 to 28 m/s and at the ratio of solids-air mass flow rateranged from 0 to 2.The experimental results show a good agreement with the calculatedones.  相似文献

We designed an interrupted case study to teach aerobic cellular respiration to major and nonmajor biology students. The case is based loosely on a real-life incident of rotenone poisoning. It places students in the role of a coroner who must determine the cause of death of the victim. The case is presented to the students in four parts. Each part is followed by discussion questions that the students answer in small groups prior to a classwide discussion. Successive parts of the case provide additional clues to the mystery and help the students focus on the physiological processes involved in aerobic respiration. Students learn the information required to solve the mystery by reading the course textbook prior to class, listening to short lectures interspersed throughout the case, and discussing the case in small groups. The case ends with small group discussions in which the students are given the names and specific molecular targets of other poisons of aerobic respiration and asked to determine which process (i.e., glycolysis, citric acid cycle, or the electron transport chain) the toxin disrupts.  相似文献   

农村运输机械的最佳额定载质量研究

本文通过分析农村陆路货物运输作业过程的特点，建立了以农村运输机械基本结构特性参数和运输条件参数为参变量的机械运输作业生产率、各项成本的数学模型。并以此为基础，进一步推出运输机械的最佳额定载量数学模型。应用农村公路运输实测参数进行定量分析表明这些模型能较准确地反映实况。从而为因地制宜地选用农村运输机械提供了方法。这种模型的特征在于有关基本参数容易测取，经过模型计算能较大幅度地提高初级原始数据的信息价值。  相似文献

紫藤和凌霄花的输水结构与水流速度的初步研究

用热脉冲技术，测定了2种藤本植物紫藤(Wistaria Sinensis)和凌霄花(Campsis Chinensis)茎干的液流速度。对两种植物的输水结构进行了解剖学研究，结果表明，两种植物一天中的液流速度变化小，维持在较高速度值上，径向液流速最大值的位点均位于靠近形成层的区域。二者输水结构也表现出了相似的特征，两树种的液流速度与其解剖结构有密切的关系。  相似文献   

Influence of green tea polyphenols on mitochondrial permeabi lity transition pore and Ca2+ transport

The authors investigated the influence of green tea polyphenols (GTPs) on the liver mitochondria permeability transition pore (PTP) opening through mit ochondria swelling and change of mitochondria membrane potential. The data showe d that GTPs had obvious protective effect on the Ca2+-induced PTP opening in a d ose-dependent manner detected by mitochondria swelling. The results were obtain ed by measuring the change of mitochondria membrane potential through Rh 123. Further experiments were conducted to examine the detailed influence of GTP s on Ca2+import and export of mitochondria. The results showed that GTPs h ad rem arkably inhibitory effect on the Ca2+-induced Ca2+ import in mitoch ondria; and t hat they could accelerate Ca2+-release from mitochondria. Our data provid e an al ternate interpretation of the potent protective function of GTPs on cell against apoptosis.  相似文献
