Assessment is learning: the preposition vanishes

Scotland, in common with many countries internationally, has been learning how to align ideas from research with policy and practice. This article considers what Scotland learned from large-scale evaluations of its Assessment is for Learning (AifL) programme and the extent to which this evidence was used to inform future learning within the national programme. More recently, the policy focus in Scotland has shifted to the creation of a new curriculum, Curriculum for Excellence, subsuming AifL. Merging curriculum and assessment innovations brought new challenges in the alignment of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment. Drawing on a Scottish Government-funded research project, Assessment at Transition, designed to identify and explore emerging gaps between practice in schools and local authorities and national curriculum and assessment policy aspirations, the article argues that assessment is learning and explores how formative approaches to evaluation at a national level might be used to prevent countries repeating past mistakes.  相似文献

‘Not everything that the bourgeois world created is bad’: aesthetics and politics in women workers' education

In this paper, I look into the papers of Fannia Cohn, an immigrant labour organizer, who served the Education Department of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU) between 1918 and 1962 and became one of its few women vice-presidents. As an internationally recognized figure in the history of workers' education, Cohn left a rich body of labour literature, wherein art is central in the ways she conceptualized, designed and organized women workers' educational programmes and curricula, as well as cultural activities for more than 50 years. For Cohn, however, art and politics were tightly interwoven in what I have called the artpolitics assemblage of women garment workers' life and work. It is entanglements between ethics, aesthetics and politics, considered in the light of the Rancièrian notion of ‘the distribution of the sensible’, that I discuss in this paper.  相似文献

淮南市3~6岁幼儿各项身体形态分析

为全面了解淮南市幼儿的形态指标、身体素质现状,2010年淮南师范学院与淮南市体育局共同组织了对淮南市幼儿的调查与测试,把测得数据采用《国民体质测定标准手册》中幼儿部分的评定方法与标准进行统计处理。结果表明：淮南市3~6岁幼儿身体形态发育随着年龄的增加,他们的身高与体重值均增加,呈逐年升高趋向;男性幼儿和女性幼儿的身体形态从3岁就呈现出差异,这主要是由遗传决定的,这种差异在7岁以后,伴随着年龄的增长表现更为明显。  相似文献   

Talking Together,Learning Together: The Story of English PGCE Student Teachers’ Adventures in Classics

This article reports on the first two phases of a project to promote the classics through English at Key Stage 3, a scion of the Cambridge Schools Classics Project. We discuss the primary importance of speaking and listening in the English classroom both for the individual and the collective, and reflect on the power and importance of using classic tales in English as a means of promoting good-quality oracy. We comment on the precarious position of both oracy and story in the 2014 national curriculum. We report on the impact of a project during which student teachers were introduced to classical oral storytelling and encouraged to use it in their teaching. Findings suggest that the student teachers recognised oracy and storytelling as fundamental to their developing pedagogy and that they saw the need to promote oracy.  相似文献

生旅融合,就是在推进生态建设的旅游产业化和旅游产业发展生态化的过程中,实现自然－经济－社会复合生态系统的稳定和繁荣,达到生态文明的目标。云南具有建设生态文明的环境基础,优良的生态环境也为云南旅游产业发展提供了保障。结合云南生旅融合的发展情况,可以从提升生态旅游、打造旅游功能区、倡导低碳发展三个方面大力推进云南生态文明建设。通过这种融合式的发展,一方面使生态工程具备后续发展旅游产业的能力,另一方面实现旅游产业要素的生态化发展。  相似文献

来源国形象与旅游目的地形象一直以来是两个相对独立、平行的研究领域。作为长期以来的热门概念,旅游目的地形象一直是旅游研究的焦点。对于来源国形象来说,从解释消费者行为到指导国际营销,来源国形象一直是营销学研究的主流领域。从理论基础来看,来源国形象与旅游目的地形象均是基于心理学的态度理论作为解释基础,且两个构念在很大程度上具有相似性和关联性。文章在对当前国内外学者关于来源国形象与旅游目的地形象交叉研究的相关文献的基础上,梳理该交叉研究领域的文献发展脉络,对归纳出的三种研究类型进行评价,并对该交叉领域未来的研究方向进行展望。  相似文献   

甘肃省现代服务业发展影响因素的实证研究

通过统计2003年到2012年甘肃14市州现代服务业影响因素的面板数据,在对面板数据进行单位根检验基础上,利用所建立的面板数据模型分析各因素对甘肃省现代服务业发展的影响程度,采用协整检验法对主要影响因素变量进行协整检验,认为相关变量存在协整关系。由此,提出甘肃省现代服务业的发展路径。  相似文献   

制造“国民”——试析伪满洲国教科书《满语国民读本》

伪满洲国是日本侵华时期在我国东北地区建立的存在14年的殖民政权,期间教科书发展已经偏离基本特质,沦为伪满政权的统制工具。此研究通过分析"国民科"教科书——《满语国民读本》的历史背景、编写概况及文本特征,揭示伪满政权控制教科书最深层的思想动机。《满语国民读本》通过重新定义"国家"、"国民",以及"满洲国"与国际社会的关系等来达到制造忠顺"国民"的终极目的。  相似文献
