本文从农林院校制药工程专业培养目标与社会需求的错位出发,回顾了行业发展趋势和国内外相关学科的教学方法,在此基础上,我们尝试将＂做中学（learn by doing）＂教学法贯彻于衔接专业基础课程与社会需求之间的专业课程《制药工艺学》的教学过程中,以适应农林院校制药工程专业发展需要,课堂效果和学生反映显示该方法取得了一定的效果。  相似文献

Elsevier's Compendex product (and its ancestor, Engineering Index) has been a de rigeur indexing tool for searching the primary literature in engineering for many years. However, the price of Compendex continues to rise while at the same time, broader, lower-cost or even free alternatives to such expensive indexing tools have proliferated. Chinese academic librarianship in transition

Abstract

This study examines reasons for the shortage of qualified academic librarians in China and recommends ways to position Chinese academic libraries to move into the modern era.

Interviews were conducted with 20 academic librarians in China and 20 in the United States, in one library in each country, to collect data for a comparative study. This paper compares Chinese and US academic librarianship in terms of reasons for entering this profession, academic education in library and information science, and requirements for knowledge and information skills.

Chinese librarianship faces great challenges in the recruitment and education of librarians and with the library system itself. It is time for the government, university officials, libraries and society as a whole to learn to promote librarianship and build a powerful librarian workforce, to meet the needs of China's social and economic development.  相似文献

实训教学一直是高等工程教育适应经济社会发展需要,服务于行业与企业生产实践的重要教学环节。2010年6月,国家教育部组织实施的＂卓越工程师培养计划＂对国内各高校工程教育实训教学的质量与管理水平提出了更高的要求,现行的＂夹层制＂实训教学模式面临许多新问题与新要求。在这样的形势下,＂夹层制＂实训教学模式改革与创新的基本路径是改革教学计划体系,建立高校和企业联合培养机制,配备专业合理的教学师资队伍,以及探索国际化、开放型培养模式。  相似文献

Cultivating engineers’ humanity: Fostering cosmopolitanism in a Technical University

This paper aims to explore the potential of a curriculum designed to develop Nussbaum's cosmopolitan abilities through two elective subjects offered to future engineers in a Spanish Technical University. To this end, Nussbaum's proposition of cosmopolitan abilities is presented in relation to the broader academic literature on cosmopolitanism and higher education. From this perspective, the origin, context and pedagogical rationale of the curriculum are described including the discussion of an exploratory study based on discourse analysis and how it has informed our pedagogical practice. Finally we argue for the importance of electives that develop cosmopolitan values for students of technical programmes in Higher Education and the need to consider the implications of their cessation as a consequence of the Bologna Process.  相似文献
