英国小说《蝇王》是现代主义流派的佳作之一。作者威廉·戈尔丁用跨越时空的方式再次重现人类社会的奋斗发展史,同时也构建勾画出了人类社会发展观的演变历程。文章分析解读了发展现在小说中的演变轨迹,并对作者颇费笔墨的荒岛原始场景提出了新解：孩子们在原始蒙昧中的争斗厮杀影射了当时极度追求物质发展、经济指标的社会发展观带来的诸多弊端：岛上孩童世界的堕落,岛外成人社会的倒退发展等等,作者想用浸透小说的悲观笔触激发起人们对人本发展现的向往和追求。  相似文献   

Renewed but not Redeemed: Revising <Emphasis Type="Italic">Elsie Dinsmore</Emphasis>

Elsie Dinsmore, the first book in a late 19th century childrens series, is unique because it had not been adapted, just reprinted, until 1999. It is also unique in the setting, the mythic Southern plantation life of the 1850s. The 1999 edition ameliorated what is now recognized as racist language based on the images of the minstrelsy tradition, though consonant with the views of the time period. However, the deep structure of the story—its dependence on the plantation myth, its belief in the basic inferiority of African Americans, and its acceptance of slavery as compatible with Christianity—is not changed. The new edition is a comment on the publishing industrys disregard of racial history and the importance of context for understanding literature.  相似文献   

Teachers’ remaining career opportunities: The role of value fit and school climate

In light of an aging teacher population, this study investigates the influence of school climate and person-school (P-S) value fit on teachers' perspectives regarding their career futures. The results, based on a sample of 147 teachers, indicate that P-S value fit is positively associated with remaining career opportunities, over and above the negative effect of age. In addition, both climate for performance/academic press and climate for socialization affect teachers' future career perspectives through a P-S value fit mechanism. These findings imply that schools can enhance teachers’ perceived remaining career opportunities by creating strong school climates and improving perceived value fit.  相似文献

Can the Brain be Trained? Comparing the Literature on the Use of EEG Biofeedback/Neurofeedback as an Alternative or Complementary Therapy for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

ABSTRACT

Psychologists, social workers, and school counselors are increasingly adding neurofeedback (NFT), a controversial alternative or complementary therapy to their treatment plans for patients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. NFT involves training the patient in self-regulation of brain wave patterns, employing a standard diagnostic tool, the EEG, in an interactive operant conditioning mode not often used by neurologists or psychiatrists. Some NFT therapists claim in their books that they have sufficient expertise to advise parents against the use of Ritalin? and amphetamines, which are part of the conventional multimodal therapy strongly endorsed in a wide variety of clinical publications. In return, some of the leading conventional physicians and Ph.D. researchers in the field of ADHD have traditionally ignored or disparaged the literature of NFT as being insufficiently scientific and appearing largely in obscure journals or books published outside the mainstream medical presses. While most librarians are unlikely to have sufficient scientific or clinical credentials to pass judgment, one way or another, on NFT as a treatment for ADHD, an examination of the credentials of authors, their books, book reviews, journals, and the publishers in which opponents and proponents make their case is entirely within our purview, and such an analysis is provided.  相似文献

中国武术发展的历史与未来

中华武术源远流长，有数千年的发展历史，在不同时期曾经发挥过无可替代的作用，然而当我们仔细审视，才发觉我们曾经引以为豪的武术当今的发展现状却不容乐观。至少在某种程度上源自中国武术的跆拳道和柔道已经步入奥运赛场，并且在国际化道路上尽情挥洒，而中国武术却与奥运擦肩而过，发展前景一片迷茫。在遗憾之余，我们有必要认真反思，寻找中国武术未来的发展之路，建议武术发展应民族化和国际化两条腿走路，在民族化过程中建议传统武术和现代竞技武术和谐发展。  相似文献   

省域校园足球推进的审视与未来发展——基于H省的实地调研

面对2020年校园足球特色学校达4万所的政府"承诺"，校园足球改革发展向纵深推进已刻不容缓。运用文献研究、实地考察与问卷调查等研究方法，对H省校园足球开展总体情况进行梳理，指出省域校园足球推进中存在着重视程度不够、各层级校园足球发展不平衡、基础保障条件有待进一步完善、"刚"性政策不足、安全保险制度和督导评价体系亟需健全与完善、教育与体育部门缺乏深度融合的工作机制等问题。据此提出省域校园足球未来推进的发展策略：健全法规制度建设，建立协同工作机制；探索多措并举方式，夯实师资保障条件；完善政策配套，加大政府购买力度，因地制宜，保障经费与场地；深化认识，全员参与，协调发展，促进学校体育深入开展；厘清职责，创新机制，促进教体融合。  相似文献
