当今社会,流行(时尚)这一社会现象普遍存在于人们社会生活的各个领域,追求流行(时尚)已成为现代人特别是中产阶层女性的一个重要特征.以广州市企业女性白领阶层为研究对象,以文献、问卷、主成分分析和结构方程路径模型分析为主要研究方法,从流行和体育流行的概念入手,通过经验研究描述分析了被调查者接受体育流行的一般概况、接受体育流行的类型和途径、接受体育流行和参与体育的关系、影响被调查者参与体育的因素等,最后提出了本文的研究结论与思考. 相似文献

Abstract Sixteen college athletes and non-athletes were given 10 30-sec. practice trials to learn how to balance on a stabilometer. The next day they were allowed three more trials alone and three trials before a group of spectators. The non-athletes were significantly better on two of the three trials performed in front of the spectators. They also performed better than the athletes throughout the ten practice trials, although the tenth and last trial approached but did not yield a significant difference at the .05 level. 相似文献

Although studied extensively in the field of adolescent mental health, the role of emotion regulation (ER) in the academic functioning of adolescents is not well understood. This study examined the role of ER in adolescents’ perceptions of themselves and their learning environments. We compared adolescents with high and low levels of ER on perceptions of school achievement and attitudes towards school and their perception of their parents’ academic involvement. Students completed surveys about perceptions of their learning and parental involvement, as well as their ER abilities. Results indicated that students with higher emotion dysregulation endorsed more negative self-perceptions of their own academic abilities, had more negative attitudes towards school, and rated their mothers and fathers as more controlling in relation to their learning. These results demonstrate the importance of ER in the academic context, particularly in the home learning environment. 相似文献

Families have been getting more and more involved in their children’s education. This paper presents findings of a study investigating family involvement in their members’ undergraduate studies attending a state (non-fee-paying) and a private (fee-paying) university in Cyprus. The data presented in the paper were collected via online logs completed by administrative personnel in the two universities documenting incidents of family involvement. The data analysis demonstrates how similarly the phenomenon manifests in both universities and suggests that where the two universities differ is more in the intensity of the various modes of family involvement. It also projects students’ desires and encouragement of their family’s involvement and their families’ intervention to protect or guide them. The findings of the study are discussed in view of cultural and societal norms and changes about parenthood and the relationship between families and their university age members in a marketized higher education context. 相似文献

The role parents can play in supporting early reading attainment is well documented. There is still, however, a need to understand what motivates parents to become involved in reading at home with their child. Past research, based upon correlational studies, has mixed findings regarding the influence of the teacher and the child on parents’ motivation at home. Through two quasi-experiments, the present study explored the influence of teacher invitations in Kindergarten classes, and child invitations in Grade 2 classes on completion rates of a home reading challenge. The completion of the home reading among families was investigated across two metropolitan schools in Sydney, Australia. Both of the interventions resulted in significantly higher completion rates compared to control groups (teacher invitations: d = .68; child invitations: d = .73). This paper adds to existing research by providing a clearer picture of the cause-and-effect relationship between schools’ use of invitations to facilitate children’s home reading. 相似文献

Notwithstanding the increasing number of UK and international studies focused on parental involvement in education and parental imprisonment there remains little focus upon the involvement of imprisoned fathers in children’s education and the impact of this upon paternal identity. Despite the now accepted perspective that parental imprisonment often impacts negatively on family functioning, child outcomes and parental identity, this qualitative study is distinctive in drawing on the discourse of parental involvement in education, using the lens of identity theory to examine the experiences of 15 imprisoned fathers regarding their involvement in their children’s education and their parenting possible selves as educators. Participants demonstrated limited identity standards in relation to education and sometimes a reduced commitment as a result of this. All offered a vision of their possible selves as educators if contextual barriers were addressed. Possible implications are suggested. 相似文献
