John Baldacchino's discussion of the concept of autonomy in this article runs on the dual track of the arts and education. His aim is to engage with the notion of autonomy in terms of what human beings invent (through art) and know (through education) by what they share as free and intelligent beings who live convivially. Following Luigi Pareyson's argument that by form one means a living organism endowed by its own legality (and thereby its own autonomy), Baldacchino offers an analysis of Elio Petri's film La classe operaia va in Paradiso (The Working Class Goes to Heaven) as context for this discussion, which adds a third dimension to the notion of autonomy: that of the political. Here, autonomy is presented as a triangulation of sorts, where what we mean by the autonomous stands for our artistic, educational, and political dispositions (and abilities) to mediate and represent a number of immediate questions with yet-to-be-found answers.  相似文献

This study examines the relationships among workload, news autonomy, burnout, job satisfaction, and turnover intention among Taiwanese reporters. Results of a survey of 1,099 reporters indicate that workload and news autonomy were significantly associated with burnout. In addition, burnout was found to be negatively related to job satisfaction, which in turn had a significant effect on turnover intention. The results not only highlight the important role of workload and news autonomy in predicting burnout, but also extend previous research on journalist burnout by showing that job satisfaction acts as a mediator in the relationship between burnout and turnover intention.  相似文献

从纵向看,中国基础教育事业需要区分教育、管理、行政、政治四者的层级,并在分层系统中给予教师、校长、局长、部长应有的尊重。从横向来看,重整教育事业的评价体系,需要还原四种被评价主体的自主性,让他们真正处于自己应有的话语体系之中,教师负责教书育人,校长负责学校管理,政府负责教育行政,国家负责意识形态。如何从深度嵌入到国家和社会之中的教育事业自身的内在本质和结构特征入手来重整分层和自主的教育评价的纵横逻辑,需要回归到"好的教育"应该指向的"美好生活"和"美好社会"两个根本的政治哲学的问题,教育评价也应当以此为自身最本质的内在质询。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Antagonism towards diversity, an attitude reflecting low egalitarian ethical values, has been a topic within policing that has received increasing attention in the last decade. Using two-wave data and applying self-determination theory, we investigated how autonomy support versus autonomy frustration, ways of being motivated either through encouraging one’s sense of volition, or otherwise, coercing and imposing pressures, can improve diversity attitudes through its relation with ethical values. Study 1 (n= 398 police officers and staff) found that autonomy-supportive communications fostered ethical values, and hence was negatively related to diversity antagonism. Study 2 (n= 859 police officers and staff) indicated that motivation to overcome prejudice mediates the relationship between ethical values and diversity antagonism. Perceptions of workplace culture as lacking in autonomy support acted as a boundary condition for the ethical values and diversity antagonism relationship; no relationship was present when autonomy support was low.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this article we consider the rights of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in England, introduced under the Children and Families Act 2014, within the context of the wider reforms made by the Act. Drawing primarily on key informant interviews conducted as part of an ESRC project on Autonomy, Rights and Children with Special Needs: A New Paradigm? (ES/P002641/1), and making reference to the international framework of children’s and disabled persons’ rights, we present an analysis of the (mostly professional) viewpoints gathered and what they tell us about the progress towards the realisation of children and young people’s autonomy and agency in this field.  相似文献

Internationally, the autonomy of schools and teachers is under pressure. In Norway, recent policies emphasise output control through national testing, combined with holding schools and teachers accountable for students’ results. Whereas recent research documents that the autonomy of schools and teachers is weakening in Oslo, there is little research on the rural parts of Norway. Recent political intentions aim to improve the results by establishing a better learning environment and classroom management. These intentions are related to the regulative discourse, ‘the rules of social order’, which is crucial to control as it dominates the instructional discourse. Two different projects were implemented in a rural municipality. Analysing their positions on three levels (author, actor and identity) this study finds considerable autonomy from the state in the pedagogic recontextualising field. However, this autonomy may be fragile as the teachers seem to have surrendered personal values. If teachers are disciplined, then the state may effectively reduce the potential discursive gap by reducing the autonomy of key agents in education. Investigating teachers’ rationalisations is imperative if we are to understand the relations between interests, ideology and class, and thereby the potential for autonomy in the recontextualising field in a performativity culture.  相似文献

办学自主权既是高校有效实施内部治理的基础,也是现代大学制度建设重要内容。改革开放以来,我国高等教育实现了从三级管理体制的建立,进而到以办学章程为载体的治理体系改革的历史嬗变,高校的办学自主权明显扩大。从制度变迁的视角看,高校办学自主权的变迁体现了权力与制度的互构关系:权力秩序呈现出从集中管控到分权治理的特点,制度模式从国家本位到多元导向的发展趋势。受路径依赖和高等教育供给制度的影响,我国高校的办学自主权在变迁过程中产生了宏观鼓励与微观约束、临时性制度过多与总体性制度欠缺、外部放权和内部集权等多对矛盾关系。在当前我国"双一流"建设的背景下,进一步提升高校的办学自主权,迫切需要加大高等教育领域"放管服"改革的力度,实现从行政主导型的制度变革转向发展驱动下的高校自主性治理改革。  相似文献

学生自治作为西南联大学生的管理方式,既是联大民主精神的重要体现,也是影响联大学生生活与学校发展的一条重要脉络。西南联大学生自治会是最能代表该校学生自治面貌的学生组织之一,其内部结构主要由权力机关、执行机关、监察机关构成。通过对联大学生自治会的分析可以看出,联大学生自治具有组织性、自发性、相对独立性、发展性和兼顾性的特点。同时,其自治在服务学生学习和生活、促进学生个体发展、协助学校发展建设、维系联大民主精神、改良当地社会风气方面发挥了重要作用。  相似文献

省级政府对高等教育的统筹协调,既能缓解中央高度集权带来的忽视地方特色的弊端,也能弥补高校自主办学过程中可能出现的无序和失序,保障高等教育事业平稳健康发展。省级政府获得高等教育统筹协调权历经艰难历程,先后经历协助办学、分级管理、逐步确立、法律确权与不断扩权等五个时期。目前,省级政府主要拥有统筹协调省域高等教育结构布局、学科专业设置调整、学位与研究生教育、民办高等教育工作、高等教育收费与奖助学管理、免费师范生就业等权限,但其统筹权限仍存在不够科学周延及不稳定等问题。为此,应继续下放不必中央政府管理的高等教育权限,取消无须省级政府统筹协调的高等教育事项,通过法律形式明确省级政府的统筹权限。  相似文献

“四书”揭示了诚的内涵、指向、价值、实现路径。它包括本体论上天道和人道以及知情意行的真诚和一致含义。处于和不同德性、对象交互的关系链中,其具有化己、化人、化物等价值,可以通过存心自省、格物致知等路径实现。它是君子人格的重要构成,也对当代学校公民教育评价有所启示:以公民之诚论证好公民的素养,也明晰不可为,即诚之匮乏、狭隘、功利、无知和规训;强调教育者应拥有诚之伦理示范、真诚评价学生并善于剔除假象;以制度他律和道德自律作为沟通公民之诚教育评价和过程的桥梁,需完善学校公民教育、德育制度体系并培养学生道德自主性、使之行“慎独”之义等。  相似文献
