Health disparities are a significant source of inequity between immigrants and native people in South Korea. The present study investigated how immigrants seek health information for their different purposes according to their health literacy ability and sociodemographic backgrounds. The study assessed immigrants' health literacy skills with the Rapid Estimate of Adult Literacy in Medicine (REALM) and conducted surveys (N = 310) in districts with high immigrant populations. Overall, there were significant associations between health literacy ability, sociodemographic characteristics, and health information-seeking behavior among participants. The findings of the study extend the literature by addressing the association between health literacy and health information-seeking behavior in diverse sociodemographic contexts. Understanding the dynamics between the three factors provides insights for developing effective health information services and public policies to mitigate health disparities experienced by immigrants, ensuring the critical roles of online health information and health professionals as preferred or credible sources.  相似文献

[目的/意义] 有声阅读已成为国民阅读新的增长点,用户年轻化特征明显,通过研究高校大学生用户的有声阅读需求,为细化分析用户需求和明确图书馆工作重点、优先级提供可行的分析路径,有助于高校图书馆深入了解大学生的有声阅读需求并采取针对性的服务策略。[方法/过程] 采用问卷调查法,对高校大学生有声阅读行为、图书馆有声阅读服务认知和利用情况以及有声阅读需求进行调查,基于Kano模型对需求进行分类,并结合QFD模型分析图书馆工作改进的重点方向。[结果/结论] 调查对象中超过一半进行过有声阅读,但对图书馆有声阅读资源的认知和利用程度不足,不过多数认为图书馆有必要开展有声阅读服务;用户需求以魅力型需求为主,还有少量无差异型需求,资源内容质量、查询、获取在提高用户满意度中占据重要地位,图书馆工作重点应是优化系统平台功能和性能、提高有声阅读内容的质量、配置高性能设备打造高品质视听空间、加强宣传推广。  相似文献

科技型企业强调高新技术的研究与开发,其并购大多是为了获取先进技术、专业人才等资源。然而,并购失败的情形很多。本文以创新激励为切入点,运用扎根理论,对科技型企业并购后的创新激励问题进行研究。首先,识别了平等对待、包容和凝聚、组织文化交流、中长期激励、保证员工发展五类影响科技型企业并购之后创新激励的关键因素。在此基础上,科技型企业并购之后的创新激励机制包括权威建立机制、员工合作机制、员工参与决策机制、员工发展机制、利益绑定机制;通过组织认同与利益绑定的共同作用,激励、塑造知识员工的动机和行为,进而提升企业创新能力。进一步地,实现并购者的身份转变,并明确创新激励基本逻辑是科技型企业并购之后,创新激励机制实施有效的保障策略。本文研究不仅拓展了创新激励的适用范围,而且增补了企业并购后整合的经验证据,对于管理实践中企业如何有效开展创新激励工作并实现并购后整合亦具有一定的指导意义。  相似文献

The public libraries in the Carolinas engaged with their communities using Twitter throughout the phases of Hurricane Florence in 2018. A total of 161 libraries in Carolinas were examined. The framework of crisis informatics, content analysis, and network analysis were applied to 738 Twitter posts from 17 libraries, which had Twitter presence, to understand interaction details between the libraries and communities that they serve. Findings include that the libraries shared a mixture of both disaster- and non-disaster-related information via their Twitter pages. The disaster-related tweets were mostly shared in the During (291 out of 349) and After (56 out of 349) phases. The number of general library-related tweets in the During phase dropped drastically compared to those in the Before or After phases. The libraries were also retweeting disaster-related tweets from various governmental agencies and NGOs to the community members in their social network. These findings indicate that the libraries switched their roles from a general services institution to an emergency information hub as the threat from the hurricane began affecting the communities. The knowledge gained from our study could be used to improve community resilience by further illuminating the role of public libraries as public infrastructures that host and facilitate the development of social capital during and after disaster events by becoming information and communication hubs.  相似文献

Public libraries are among key sites for the acquisition of cultural capital, and possibly one of the most potent means through which the state can address inequality. While digitalization of public libraries already attracted significant scholarly attention, the evidence of its contribution to the acquisition of cultural skills and knowledge and social mobility remains limited, as does the conceptual understanding of links between digitalization, cultural capital, and social stratification. This article draws on two disconnected bodies of research, the sociological analysis of cultural capital and stratification and research on digital divides. To bridge these two bodies of research, the interplay of cultural and digital capital in public libraries was investigated. The extensive dataset from the UK Taking Part Survey (2016–17) was analyzed using two-step cluster analysis and multinomial regression models to explore the contrasting profiles of contemporary library users. Results identify four distinct user groups: Traditional, Active, Family, and Tech Access, which possess different degrees of cultural and digital capital, have different demographic profiles, and benefit from digitalized libraries in different ways. If libraries are to fulfil their role in reducing social inequalities, it is important that they tailor their digital services to the specific characteristics of each user group. This approach also provides a useful template for exploring the interplay of digitalization and (in)equality in other cultural institutions.  相似文献

[目的/意义] 合理使用是维持著作权人个人利益与社会公共利益平衡的重要机制之一,对承担公共文化服务功能的图书馆尤为重要,但实践中图书馆的合理使用条款并未充分发挥利益平衡的作用,有必要对其存在问题及形成原因进行深入分析。[方法/过程] 通过与域外立法相比较,以及司法实践中的案例分析,可看出我国图书馆合理使用的主要问题在于现行法律规定滞后、规则不明晰,导致合理使用适用范围狭窄,还同时受到许可协议、技术措施的挤压。[结果/结论] 为化解图书馆合理使用条款的适用困境,可从增加原则性规定、明确其法律属性为强制性规定、扩大有关条款的适用范围等方面来完善立法。图书馆自身也应加强知识产权管理、提高知识产权素养,严格遵照法律规定以消除侵权隐患。  相似文献

[目的/意义]为解释知识问答社区用户分享知识时的情绪和体验,从PAT模型(Person-Artifact-Task model)入手,探求用户自身特征、社区的工具特征、知识共享任务特征对心流体验产生的影响以及心流体验与持续知识共享意愿之间的关联。[方法/过程]论文以百度知道社区的活跃用户为调查对象,回收205份有效问卷,利用Amos21.0软件对数据进行结构方程模型分析。[结果/结论]研究发现,知识问答社区用户自身特征中的技能水平、感知控制力、兴趣,社区工具特征的互动性、感知易用性,以及任务特征的挑战性对其心流体验的产生有正向影响;按照影响程度降序排列,依次为感知易用性、技能水平、感知控制力、互动性、兴趣;用户产生的心流体验越强,其持续参与知识共享的意愿越强;心流体验在除了清晰目标之外的其他6个自变量与持续知识共享意愿之间的中介作用得到了验证。在此基础上,论文从强化用户粘性、激发兴趣、提升互动等方面探讨对知识问答社区管理实践的启示。  相似文献

This paper studies adaptive optimization problem of continuous-time multi-agent systems. Multi-agents with second-order dynamics are considered. Each agent is equipped with a time-varying cost function which is known only to an individual agent. The objective is to make multi-agents velocities minimize the sum of local functions by local interaction. First, a distributed adaptive algorithm is presented, in which each agent depends only on its own velocity and neighbors velocities. It is indicated that all agents can track the optimal velocity. Then we apply the distributed adaptive algorithm to flocking of multi-agents. It is proved that all agents can track the optimal trajectory. The agents will maintain connectivity and avoid the inter-agent collision. Finally, two simulations are included to illustrate the results.  相似文献

This study aims to explore the relationships between user interaction and digital libraries (DLs) evaluation. User interaction is a multi-dimensional construct and recognized as three dimensions in this study, as user interaction with: information resource; interface; and, tasks. DL evaluation is considered from the user's perspective and defined as users’ perception of DL performance from different perspectives, including the support of DL's interaction design to user interaction (labeled as interaction-design-based (IDB) evaluation), the support of task completion (labeled as task-based evaluation), and a DL's overall performance (labeled as overall evaluation). An experiment with 48 participants was conducted using the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI (http://cnki.net/), the most widely used digital library in China). Participants searched for four simulated work tasks and one real work task during the experiment, subsequently evaluating their interaction with information resource, interface, and tasks, and DL performance from different perspectives before or after the search. Correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis were conducted to examine the relationships. The results indicate that a list of factors related to different dimensions of user interaction can significantly predict or be correlated to users’ evaluation of DL performance from different perspectives, including appropriateness, rich and valid links, reasonable page layout, salience of topics, search task difficulty, well-organized web site, easy to learn, accessibility, usefulness, familiarity with task procedure, etc. These factors surface as the most critical criteria for DL evaluation. Based on the results, an integrated DL evaluation framework is developed. The study adds new knowledge about how tasks affect DL evaluation. It has implications for improving the efficiency of DL evaluation and helping DL developers design DLs to better support users’ interaction, task completion, and their overall experience with DLs.  相似文献
