Viewer gifting is an important business mode in live streaming industry, which closely relates to the income of the platforms and streamers. Previous studies on gifting prediction are often limited to cross-section data and consider the problem from the macro perspective of the whole live streaming. However, the multimodal information and the time accumulation effect of live streaming content on viewer gifting behavior are ignored. In this paper, we put forward a multimodal time-series method (MTM) for predicting real-time gifting. The core module of the method is the multimodal time-series analysis (MTA), which targets at effectively fusing multimodal information. Specifically, the proposed orthogonal projection (OP) model can promote cross-modal information interaction without introducing additional parameters. To achieve the interaction of multi-modal information at the same level, we also design a stackable joint representation layer, which makes each target modality's representation (visual, acoustic and textual modality) can benefit from all the other modalities. The residual connections are introduced as well to ensure the integration of low-level and high-level information. On our dataset, our model shows improved performance compared to other advanced models by at least 8% on F1. Meanwhile, the MTA is able to meet the real-time requirements of the live streaming setting, and has demonstrated its robustness and transferability in other tasks. Our research may offer some insights about how to efficiently fuse multimodal information, and contribute to the research on viewer gifting behavior prediction in the live streaming context. 相似文献

The domain about what it means to give responsible and human centric recommendations in the context of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based insurance has not yet been fully explored. In this article, we therefore, first provide an in-depth analysis and perform a systematic literature review on (i) the specifications and requirements for such systems from a regulation point of view, (ii) instructions on which data they can rely upon, (iii) which recommender techniques can be used for developing such an advisor, (iv) off-the-shelf components for the trustworthy, responsible, and ethical behavior of this AI-empowered tool. Then, we present a novel approach, based on AI, to suggest insurance coverage for users and families, as well as instructions on how to design such a system. The solution, as proposed in our paper, will be transparent, trustworthy, and responsible to the final users and thus, hopefully, better accepted by customers. After describing a possible system design and architecture, we critically discuss the challenges and opportunities for the deployment of such systems in insurance companies. 相似文献

Collaborations in funded teams are essential for understanding funded research and funding policies, although of high interest, are still not fully understood. This study aims to investigate directed collaboration patterns from the perspective of the knowledge flow, which is measured based on the academic age. To this end, we proposed a project-based team identification approach, which gives particular attention to funded teams. The method is applicable to other funding systems. Based on identified scientific teams, we detected recurring and significant subgraph patterns, known as network motifs, and under-represented patterns, known as anti-motifs. We found commonly occurred motifs and anti-motifs are remarkably characterized by different structures matching certain functions in knowledge exchanges. Collaboration patterns represented by motifs favor hierarchical structures, supporting intensive interactions across academic generations. Anti-motifs are more likely to show chain-like structures, hindering potentially various knowledge activities, and are thus seldom found in real collaboration networks. These findings provide new insights into the understanding of funded collaborations and also the funding system. Meanwhile, our findings are helpful for researchers, the public and policymakers to gain knowledge on research(ers) evolution, particularly in terms of primordial collaboration patterns. 相似文献

The significance of IT in the context of non-digital social enterprises (SEs) and its influence on the viability of such SEs have been less studied themes in information systems research. In the era of ubiquitous IT, SEs have increasing pressures to cope with the ever-dynamic technological domain while balancing their dual objectives. Data from a single revelatory case of Jaipur Rugs (JR), an SE situated in a developing country context (India), is used to fathom the peculiarities of the SE context with a focus on the sociomaterial phenomena of IT emergence. Using the three fundamental notions of sociomateriality theory (relationality, performativity, and practice) this interpretive study understands the mechanisms underlying the SE’s attempt to balance its financial and social sustainability objectives. Through the innovative use of IT, the SE establishes and maintains shared value, yielding stability and efficiency to the business (financial viability) while simultaneously ensuring scalability and effectiveness of their social impact. This study strengthens the perspective of IT as an emergent phenomenon situated in sociomaterial practices and fills a gap in organizational literature by examining such phenomenon in the rich context of SEs where achieving the balance between dual goals is increasingly dependent on non-human (IT) agents. 相似文献

[目的/意义] 灰色预测法可有效处理情报研究中广泛存在的小样本数据,通过对灰色预测法在情报研究中的应用情况进行梳理,总结其在应用过程中存在的不足,为灰色预测法在情报研究中的进一步应用提供参考。[方法/过程] 通过综述情报研究中涉及灰色预测法的相关文献,从数据选取、模型构建和解决的问题等方面对情报研究中灰色预测法的应用进行概述,总结当前情报研究中灰色预测法的应用所存在的问题,并提出改进建议。[结果/结论] 在方法应用上,已有研究主要采用数列灰预测,且模型集中在单变量灰色预测模型,根据预测对象不同,灰色预测法已经在包括期刊分析、图书馆运行管理、热点主题分析及科研机构评价方面得到了很好的应用,未来可根据预测对象特点及研究目标尝试不同的灰色预测方法,扩宽灰色预测法在其他方面的情报研究问题中的应用。 相似文献

The integration of products and services into a bundled product/service offering by manufacturing organisations is seen as a global trend in today’s competitive business environment. The shift of product-based manufacturers towards offering business solutions and value-added services to consumers is termed as ‘Servitization’. Contrary to the potential benefits expected by adding service activities to the offerings, advocates voice their concerns towards experiential problems and challenges in employing the servitization strategy – termed as ‘Servitization Paradox’. Nevertheless, the shift from product-based delivery to a service-based provision has the potential to significantly impact on developing sustainable and eco-friendly environment. To provide greater insights to the servitization phenomenon, this paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the servitization implementation in manufacturing organisations. In order to respond to the latter, we propose the following three research questions “Q1 – what are the different types of servitization strategies”, “Q2 – what are the different servitization definitions”, “Q3 – what are the potential benefits in selecting a servitization strategy?”, “Q4 – what are the challenges in transitioning towards servitization?”. A systematic literature review is carried out to understand the past trends and extant patterns/themes in the servitization strategy research area, evaluate contributions, summarise knowledge, thereby identifying limitations, implications and potential further research avenues. The key findings confirm servitization studies have contributed both conceptually and empirically to the development and accumulation of intellectual wealth to the manufacturing operations and supply chain discipline. Moreover, the findings clearly indicate the potential of servitization in transitioning manufacturing organisations (e.g. benefits) and utilising innovative technologies to generate business value. The frequent occurrence of security incidents in ride-sharing is a challenge for the survival of IT-enabled ride-sharing platforms. Passengers’ protective behavior is an effective means to alleviate this issue, with benefits to both the passengers and the platforms. This study explores the mechanisms of passengers’ protective behavior in the ride-sharing context by combining protection motivation theory (PMT) and usage situation theory. We test our hypotheses using data (n = 346) collected from a field survey based on a real scenario. The findings reveal that PMT and usage situation theory work well to explain passengers’ protective behavior during ride-sharing. This study explains the motivation behind passengers’ protective behavior in the ride-sharing context, extends the contents of PMT by exploring its antecedents, and extends the contents of usage situation theory by introducing a new dimension. Our findings can help ride-sharing platforms take appropriate strategies to improve passengers’ protective behavior. 相似文献

ABSTRACT This study seeks to examine the influence of the cultural elements on international students’ country choice. It also examines whether individual values moderate the influence of cultural elements on the country choice of international students. Drawing upon a sample size of 223, the data was analysed using structural equation modelling technique. Among the five cultural elements, education, language and social institutions were found to have a positive significant influence on the international student’s country choice. When moderated by individual values education was found to be the only key significant value to international students when selecting a country to further their education. The cultural elements should be given much attention by marketers, government and managers of academic institutions. An improvement in the standards of education in developing countries would attract more students from developed countries. 相似文献
