我国青年大学生体质健康水平日益下滑，我国大学现行的体育教学模式已不能满足对大学生综合素质培养的需要，构建新的大学体育活动课程体系有利于扭转大学生体质健康水平下滑的不利局面，也为大学生未来的全面发展做铺垫。采用文献资料法和归纳法对美国大学校园娱乐体育的组织管理机制进行梳理和研究，提出我国大学必须完善体育活动课程组织管理体系、加强体育活动课程制度化管理、拓展学校体育活动课程空间、增加大学体育课堂教学内容、纳入体育课程评价体系、推进体育活动课程有偿化服务等建议，以图为我国大学体育活动课程新体系的建设提供思路。  相似文献   

Cuba’s Challenges Hosting the 1991 Pan-American Games and the Spectacle of the Revolution’s ‘Soft Power’

Abstract

This paper examines the confluence of global, regional, and national politics in the lead up to the 1991 Pan-American Games hosted by Cuba. Cuba’s contentious selection as host was wholly underpinned by the international politics of the time. Once selected, the preparations for the Games in Havana were surrounded by an unprecedented domestic economic crisis fueled by shifts in global politics. This paper analyzes how international politics informed the hosting of the 1991 Pan-American Games, and shaped the political challenge the Cuban government faced in hosting such an event. The Revolution’s use of sport domestically and internationally came to the forefront in its efforts as host and the results of those efforts proved to be providential given the emerging political economic contexts during and in the ensuing years after the Games.  相似文献

在经济状况、社会变化、文化传统和教育政策等因素的影响下,近10年来美英日三国的幼儿教育课程改革表现出了一定的差异性.其中,美英两国和日本的幼儿教育课程改革差异较大,一方面美英两国幼儿教育课程改革的重点均为制定早期学习标准,日本则注重通过创设适当的环境培养幼儿的生存能力;另一方面,美英两国幼儿教育课程改革都重视幼儿早期读写和数学能力的培养,日本则注重人际关系和健康领域的改革.借鉴美英日三国幼儿教育课程改革的经验,我国在制定幼儿教育课程改革政策时也应充分考虑中国的国情与文化传统,让课程改革在变与不变之间保持适当的张力,合理运用<早期学习与发展标准>,引导我国学前教育事业健康发展.  相似文献   

Identifying core competencies to advance female professors’ careers: an exploratory study in United States academia

This exploratory study aims to identify the core competencies necessary to successfully advance the careers of female associate professors in higher education. To ascertain these core career competencies, a critical incident interview technique was employed. One-to-one semi-structured interviews with six female full professors at a major research university in the Midwestern region of the United States were conducted. Based on participants’ career advancement experiences, the following competencies were identified: (1) making important connections, (2) fulfilling responsibilities in academia, (3) being politically savvy, (4) managing personal and professional obligations, (5) developing a sense of self-agency for one’s career, and (6) believing in one’s self in the work environment. The action-oriented findings of this research, rather than skill-based, can be easily adapted by faculty and institutions, both domestically and internationally, to improve current practices. These findings offer a unique contribution for improving the research and practice of career development among female faculty in higher education.  相似文献
