Reading and Teaching Literature as Writing

Christer Ekholm's point of departure in this article is Gert J. J. Biesta's call for a new pedagogical attitude that takes a stand against the current trend in education. At present, the dominant approach is to make what we do in school into something wholly predictable, measurable, and assessable, which (as Biesta argues) misses important aspects of what education actually is or should be. One such aspect has to do with “subjectification,” that is, events where someone makes an appeal to me, singles me out in my uniqueness, and makes me ethically responsible to the other one before me. What role can literary education play in facilitating such events? What kind of reading strategies should be promoted with the aim of such an ambition? On the basis of a critical analysis of the discursive construction of an opposition between reading as engagement and reading as distance, Ekholm argues that the answer to these questions is to be found in an alternative literature didactics, where the work of fiction is understood not as text, but as utterance; not as something written, but as writing; perhaps even, not in terms of object(ification), but of subject(ification)?  相似文献

基于实验研究的儿童搜索引擎设计

[目的/意义]针对目前儿童搜索引擎在搜索过程中对儿童认知和情感引导上的缺乏，提出了一个符合儿童认知、情感和感官需求的具有社交化智能的儿童搜索引擎设计方法，为儿童搜索引擎设计和研发提供思路和方向。[方法/过程]使用百度搜索引擎进行儿童信息检索实验，根据儿童在完成3种类型实验任务时的认知、情感表现，结合儿童教育与发展理论，分析了认知、情感和感官要素对儿童检索过程和结果的影响，并以此为依据，从认知、情感和感官3个维度进行儿童搜索引擎设计。[结果/结论]为能更顺利地完成信息检索任务，儿童需要具有认知引导与共情功能的搜索引擎辅助检索活动进行，帮助他们在检索中获得知识、提升技能。  相似文献   

基于专利统计的绿色技术创新文献分析及趋势探究

收集Web of Science上基于专利统计的绿色技术创新实证研究文献,时间截至2016年12月31日。划分4个维度对现有文献进行量化分析,并对现有文献进行分类和系统性梳理。结果表明,基于专利的绿色技术创新研究备受学者关注,主要来自美国、中国、德国、意大利,研究成果的质量较高且存在密切的引证关系,研究焦点为环境、能源与经济三方面;挖掘专利数据库中绿色专利的常用方法有3种,选择合适的测度方法是提高研究质量的关键;探讨绿色技术创新转移及演化机理、设计政府补贴机制与识别内部异质性因素、评估绿色技术创新的经济效益是未来的研究趋势。  相似文献

This article draws attention to literary works which have been influenced by microscopy, or in which microscopy has played a significant role. The work of writers including Jonathan Swift, Voltaire, George Eliot, H. G. Wells and D. H. Lawrence is discussed. In many cases these authors had direct experience of operating microscopes and viewing the wonders of the microscopic world. However, with the increasing separation of the two cultures, recent examples of microscopy in literature are rare.  相似文献

Over the last few years, research on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has snowballed across many disciplines: technical fields, economics, law, public policy, finance, accounting, and others. As the uses of blockchain technology behind Bitcoin expand, more disciplines will be drawn to its study and the research will greatly expand. This paper provides an assessment of the current state of the literature. Social network data to alleviate cold-start in recommender system: A systematic review

Recommender Systems are currently highly relevant for helping users deal with the information overload they suffer from the large volume of data on the web, and automatically suggest the most appropriate items that meet users needs. However, in cases in which a user is new to Recommender System, the system cannot recommend items that are relevant to her/him because of lack of previous information about the user and/or the user-item rating history that helps to determine the users preferences. This problem is known as cold-start, which remains open because it does not have a final solution. Social networks have been employed as a good source of information to determine users preferences to mitigate the cold-start problem. This paper presents the results of a Systematic Literature Review on Collaborative Filtering-based Recommender System that uses social network data to mitigate the cold-start problem. This Systematic Literature Review compiled the papers published between 2011–2017, to select the most recent studies in the area. Each selected paper was evaluated and classified according to the depth which social networks used to mitigate the cold-start problem. The final results show that there are several publications that use the information of the social networks within the Recommender System; however, few research papers currently use this data to mitigate the cold-start problem.  相似文献

Abstract

The transformation of library metadata encoded in MARC to linked data will enable libraries to participate in the Semantic Web. This transformation, however, will be an iterative development dependent upon community-based decisions. The PCC, as a community-based organization, is ideally positioned to lead this transformation. As PCC guides this transition, three broad areas must be resolved: the conversion of legacy data to linked data, the use of identifiers to support controlled headings, and the transformation of current workflows to linked-data counterparts.
