In the spring of 2015, the University of Minnesota Libraries formed the Content Services department, which is comprised of Interlibrary Loan, Publishing Services, and the Copyright Permissions Service. These three service points, as well as additional Library units, work together with campus partners to save students money on their course materials through a variety of programs and pilot projects. By employing multiple avenues to help faculty and students put affordable content into their existing workflows for providing and accessing required readings, the University of Minnesota Libraries are ensuring that there are many options available that support coursework and ultimately student success. 相似文献

Abstract As more collection dollars are allocated to the purchase of electronic content, the management of these resources continues to challenge libraries. In order to streamline this activity, and to improve compliance with license terms and conditions, libraries are exploring a number of software solutions. These range from tracking data in spreadsheets or developing local databases to buying software from commercial vendors. This article reviews the progress of e-resource software development, such as the Colorado Alliance's Gold Rush software, Innovative Interfaces' Electronic Resource Management module, EBSCO's journal management services and others, and explores what these products are designed to do. 相似文献

This article tells the story of the University of Colorado Law Library's successful effort to develop its first digital archive. The sudden death of the law school's dean was the catalyst for this project, with a goal to unveil the archive at a memorial symposium scheduled nine months in the future. The University of Colorado Law Library staff had never tackled a project of this type or scale before. This article discusses the technological, cataloging, and management issues that were encountered during the project. 针对Android平台粗粒度权限管理机制的漏洞,提出一种细粒度权限管理机制。该方案实现了恶意软件识别、隐私权限分析与警告,以及权限选择与修改功能。其中恶意权限识别功能中采用了卡方检验法、聚类算法及改进的朴素贝叶斯算法。运用该系统对1 000个样本进行实验,得出恶意软件误判率约为9.75%,检测准确率约为90.25%。实验结果表明,该方案使普通用户在面对各种应用时能更合理地授予及修改权限,从而大幅降低了Android平台下权限控制的危险性。 相似文献
