AbstractThis article investigates Sámi elementary education in early twentieth-century Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The main focus lies on cultural contexts that frame and limit language use. The key analytical concepts are useful citizen and useful citizenship. Through these concepts the article probes the ways in which governmental educational authorities and Sámi teachers talked about education and citizenship. Studying these concepts and the cultural contexts behind them sheds light on the formation phase of Nordic citizenship. Full-scale citizenship was not offered to all individuals inside the nation state. Where it was, it had certain conditions that excluded cultural elements of minority populations. Sámi teachers defined citizenship mainly within the Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish nation states. However, some tendencies towards a more cross-national notion of Sámi identity can be discerned. 相似文献

The use of skis has a long history in the core Sámi areas of Inner Finnmark in the north of Norway. It played a central role in the lives of nomadic Sámi communities for centuries. However, as an organised sport, skiing has a much shorter history in this area. The first sport club was established in 1927, almost 60 years after the first sport club was established in Finnmark. The integration and consolidation of sport in Inner Finnmark was also a slow process not concluded until the mid-1960s; some 40 years after its breakthrough along the coast of Finnmark. The organising of sport in the Sámi villages happened during a time of radical change in society. Until 1950s, Norwegian minority policies towards the Sámi population were characterised as strict assimilationist, or Norwegianisation, policy. This gradually changed towards a policy that emphasised cultural plurality, integration and greater political and cultural rights for the Sámi. At the same time, a state-driven modernisation process radically changed all aspects of the Sámi society. Even though sport had been a central element to Norwegian nation building throughout the twentieth century and despite the important role sport has played in many states' assimilationist strategies towards their indigenous populations, Norwegian authorities never used sport consciously in its minority policy. Despite this, sport helped in shaping modern Sámi society, and in shaping and reshaping ethnic and local identities in Inner Finnmark. 相似文献

枢密使初设于唐中后期,由宦官担任,皇帝分割相权而设的内廷差遣.至五代始用文人担任,逐渐走向外朝,其权力也伴随五代武人掌权的特征而膨胀到极点.宋循唐、五代之制,置枢密院,与中书对持文武二柄,号为"二府",枢密使正式成为一种制度,但在枢密使的任选及其职权上有了限制.至明朝,丞相的废置不设,枢密使制度也随之走到了尽头.枢密使制度从内廷走向外朝的过程,是封建专制主义中央集权不断加强的过程,也是皇权与相权之间的矛盾斗争的产物. 相似文献

In this article, I intend briefly to present some views of how cultural expressions can be used as a basis of artistic education of an indigenous people in a particular area. In the past 30 years, indigenous peoples have demanded that their cultural expressions (and knowledge) be included in higher education; to achieve this, they have applied diverse strategies. This integration is, however, a complex process, as universities or institutions of higher education often have to follow national programmes and regulations concerning higher education. Nevertheless, many indigenous peoples have attempted, in their regions, to create art programmes for higher education, often as part of another art programme, or as an independent programme. The case that I use in the presentation is based on my work at Sámi allaskuvla/the Sámi University College in Guovdageaidnu (Kautokeino) in the Sámi area of Norway. The main question here is: How and under what conditions is it possible to launch higher art education that has duodji as its foundation? A key question is what the significance of the overall discourse and praxis that has emerged and developed in indigenous societies is when it is transferred to higher education. 相似文献

北方方言中的西南官话和江淮官话、粤方言、闽方言、湘方言、赣方言以及客家方言部分方言点,把"潜水"的词根读成"[mi(U)]"、"[mei(U)]"、"[m(U)]"等,相关方言著作普遍认为"沕"是这一词根的本字.然而从古文献材料来看,"没"才是这一词根的本字."没"的初文为"(回又)",根据<说文解字>"(回又)……读若沫"推测,"没"在<广韵>之前存在有微部阴声韵三等去声明母一读,此音正是北方方言中的西南官话和江淮官话、粤方言、闽方言、湘方言、赣方言以及客家方言部分方言点"潜水"的词根的共同读音来源.本文还附带证明周德清<中原音韵>中的"氽"是用来书写"没"的俗字. 相似文献
