教师的专业化发展要求教师成为反思型教师,而反思型教师的成熟和发展离不开教育实践的锻炼和促进,只有将实践中反映出来的问题上升到理论层面加以反思,才能探寻到根源,使主体的合理性水平得到提升和拓宽.体育教师要坚持积极的自我反思与实践,以主体身份投入其中,扩大自己的专业视野,逐步养成教育反思的习惯,建立自我反思机制,成为反思型教师,同时促进教师专业化发展.  相似文献   

从两蒋日记赴美谈起

“2004年12月，蒋氏家人决定把两蒋日记‘暂存’于胡佛研究所并授权其保存、开放。这是目前最完整的两蒋日记原始手稿。蒋介石日记从1917年到1973年。即蒋离世前两年；蒋经国日记从1937年到1979年，时至台湾民主化之前。”2006年4月27日，《南方周末》做此新闻报道，章并称：“今年2月，胡佛研究所对外正式宣布接受蒋家委托，保管两蒋日记。台湾政界及学界普遍感到震惊。台湾总统府国史馆馆长张炎宪大为惊愕，‘国史馆是法定的物管理机构，不能容忍两蒋日记流往海外’。”而相对于台湾政界学界，胡佛研究所研究员郭岱君——该所近代中国档案及特藏馆的负责人之一则不以为然，她认为两蒋日记属私人物品，蒋氏后人有权做出选择。日记为“暂存”，其核心是两蒋日记暂存胡佛50年，且蒋家可随时撤回。作为蒋氏日记的保有蒋方智怡（蒋孝勇遗孀）的回应则是：“我一直为这些历史件寻找适当的保存地点，最重要的考量因素是档案保存能力及学术环境的公正与否。”  相似文献

This paper draws on Lewis Carroll’s character of Alice as a metaphor for interrogating identity construction and agency amongst early career academics, a process which can seem like Alice’s pursuit of the White Rabbit in a strange land. Keeping in mind the effects of neoliberalism on the tertiary sector, we recognise the centrality of personal lives in decision-making about academic careers and the shaping of professional identities. Science diaries: a brief writing intervention to improve motivation to learn science

This study investigated the hypothesis that prompting students to self-assess their interest and understanding of science concepts and activities would increase their motivation in science classes. Students were randomly assigned to an experimental condition that wrote self-assessments of their competence and interest in science lessons or a control condition that wrote summaries of those same lessons. Writing activities were 10?min long and were given approximately once a week for eighteen weeks. Student motivation was assessed via self-report surveys for achievement goals and interest in science before and after the intervention. Students in the experimental condition showed higher endorsement of mastery goals and reported greater situational interest in science topics after the intervention compared to students who summarised the lessons. Increases in situational interest predicted higher individual interest in the domain. Results indicate an instructional practice requiring just 3?hours out of a semester of instruction was sufficient to achieve these effects on motivation in science classes.  相似文献   

The Reflection-Informed Learning and Instruction to Improve Students’ Academic Success in Undergraduate Classrooms

Abstract

This study addressed the role of the reflection-informed learning and instruction (RILI) model on students’ academic success by using CourseMIRROR mobile system. We hypothesized that prompting students to reflect on confusing concepts stimulates their self-monitoring activities according to which students are expected to review their understanding, search for related knowledge, and try to identify the confusing concepts. With this student-reflection information, instructors can thus address students’ difficulties effectively, which can lead to enhanced academic success. We tested our hypothesis by conducting a semester-long quasi-experimental study in undergraduate industrial engineering classes (N?=?153). The analyses revealed that students in the RILI condition performed significantly better than students in the control condition (Cohen’s d = .82). In addition, reflection analysis showed that both quality and quantity of reflections were significantly associated with exam performance. Surveys indicated users highly valued the RIFI model; they rated CourseMIRROR favorably and said they would continue to use it in future classes.  相似文献   

Developing a virtual engineering management community

The paper reviews the lessons of planning and running an Engineering Management practitioner development programme in a partnership between BP and the University of Manchester. This distance-learning programme is for professional engineers in mid-career experienced in the engineering and support activities for delivering safe, compliant and reliable projects and operations worldwide. The programme concentrates on the why and how of leadership and judgement in managing the engineering of large and small projects and operational support. Two intensive residential weeks are combined with a virtual learning environment over one year. Assessed assignments between and after the residential weeks provide opportunities for individual reflective learning for each delegate through applying concepts and the lessons of case studies to their experience, current challenges and expected responsibilities. This successful partnership between a major global company and a university rich in research and teaching required a significant dedication of intellectual and leadership effort by all concerned. The rewards for both parties and most importantly for the engineers themselves are extensive.  相似文献
