情境教学对商务英语高职生产出性口语词汇词频分布的影响研究

摘    要:通过在英语课堂中情境教学的实施,考察情境教学对商务英语高职生产出性口语词汇词频分布的影响。结果表明,情境教学对口语词汇产出频率的影响具有多层次、多角度和多方位的特征。其中,情境教学对首批1000高频词的词频分布有降低性显著差异,对第二批l000高频词的词频分布无显著性差异,对学术词汇及词表外词汇等低频词汇的词频分布则存在增加性显著差异。这主要是因为,情境教学中口语词汇产出的物质环境较为丰富,心理环境较为轻松,学习者低频词汇产出的内在驱动力易于得到最大程度的激发。另外,情境教学有利于学习者产出性口语词汇的动态发展,这也会带动寄存于该词汇地道表达方式中一些低频词的附带习得和产出。

Abstract:By adopting situational approaches in English classroom teaching,the paper examined the influences of situational teaching on the frequency of productive oral vocabulary for business English majors.The results show that the effects of the situational approach on the oral chunk productivity are multi-dimensional and variable.The rich physical context and relaxed psychological environment established in English class contributed to the maximum excitation of inner driving force for producing low frequency oral words.The dynamic development of the productive oral vocabulary in situational teaching can also facilitates the incidental acquisition and production of some low frequency words existed in the idiomatic expressions or in the slang.
