| Abstract: | This paper probes into the theoretical guidance of categorization view of cognitive linguistics on English vocabulary learning. It points out that we should help the students to learn vocabulary in a scientific and efficient way by laying special emphasis upon basic-level category terms and the prototype meaning of words,following the rules of cognition. |
