| 摘 要： | 中国早期的近代知识分子虽然树立了“尚富强”的新价值观。但是“纲常礼仪”等传统的伦理思想还时时影响着他们。这是因为：他们“尚富强”的价值观是在“经世致用”传统精神的支配下，为救亡图存而提出来的：外国侵略也强化了传统价值观的精神力量：富强观念的救亡目的仍与传统的政治结构紧密连接在一起；从深层的文化心理方面说．他们也需要传统精神文化的依托。然而这种影响却阻碍了新价值观的继续发展，使它难以发展成为一个独立的理论体系。他们后来所提出的“中体西用”的理论模式就是基于这种矛盾思想所建立起来的．因而是不完整和脆弱的。同时也弱化了它对现实的冲击力。
