| 摘 要： | 西部大开发战略的实施，为毗邻西部的湖北旅游经济带来了千载难逢的发展机遇，湖北应抢抓西部开发机遇，利用居中的区位优势、丰富的资源特色和市场优势，发展湖北旅游经济。目前湖北旅游业存在着盲目开发、无序发展、体制不顺等弊病，针对湖北旅游业的现状，必须开展资源普查工作对全省旅游业进行系统规划，完善资金投入方式和投资机制，实现运行机制与国际接轨。实现旅游经济的可持续发展。
