| 摘 要： | 作为一个新兴的翻译领域，影视字幕翻译具有其自身的特点及要求。以在我国热播的几部美剧的字幕翻译为例，结合美剧字幕翻译的特点，探讨严复的“信、达、雅”标准对美剧字幕翻译的借鉴意义，认为“信、达、雅”的翻译标准可以成为美剧字幕翻译的目标。

| Abstract: | As American TV series become increasingly popular among Chinese audience,the translation of American TV subtitles has attracted stronger curiosity and attention from series viewers,English learners and translation researchers.As an emerging field of translation,subtitle translation has its own characteristics and requirements.With examples of the subtitle translation of several hit American TV series in China and taking into account the characteristics of American TV subtitle translation,this paper probes into the applicability of the criteria of "faithfulness,expressiveness and elegance" by Yan Fu to the translation of American TV subtitles.It holds that "faithfulness,expressiveness and elegance" could be the criteria for the translation of American TV subtitles. |
