| 摘 要： | 近年来随着国民收入之攀升,民众对高等教育需求殷切,造成大学开放,因而入学机会增加,使得招生与经营面临庞大的压力。目前台湾地区大专校院已达159所之多,而其中技专校院已有91所。在这种内忧外患环境下,技专校院之招生与经营面临严峻的挑战。而且近年来,技专校院招生缺额递增,部分校院系科报到率又不佳,使学校招生与经营更为艰困。私立技专校院在未有其它资助下,必依赖学生学杂费收入及自有资金方能正常营运,但前提必须能招足学生。因此,应采用何种招生与经营策略,来创造学校系科教育特色并培养契合企业需求之人才,吸引学生就读而继续经营,乃是本文探讨分析之重点。本文首先介绍研究动机、研究目的及方法,接着介绍技职教育的发展沿革、技职教育与经济发展等文献探讨;最后叙述私立技专校院招生与经营应采取之因应策略及相关具体建议与结论。

| Abstract: | Along with the increase of income recently in Taiwan,people in Taiwan develop urgent demands for education,which contributes to the open of university.However,the increase of enrollment opportunity also induces the pressure in recruiting and operation to the universities.Vocational school are faced with severe challenges in recruiting and operation,due to,on the one hand,the entry of WTO and reducing birth rate in the island,and on the other hand, excess vocational colleges and schools.There are 159 vocational schools,and among them there are 97 secondary vocational schools.However,recently,the vacancy from insufficient enrollment which has increased by degrees couple with the inadequate registration rate of the fresher make the situation worse.Vocational schools,without funds support,have to run upon the tuition income and equity fund,but the prerequisite of doing this is that they can recruit enough students.As a result,vocational schools have to adapt proper strategies in recruitment and operation to form distinguishing training features.They should also try to train talents needed by enterprises and to attract more students so that they would not be washed out.The paper,first of all,introduces the motivation,purpose and approaches of the research, then the history of the development of vocational schools;it discusses on the basis of literature the educational and economic development of vocational schools,at last,it proposes strategies in recruitment and operation,and puts forward relevant suggestions and draws conclusion. |
