| 摘 要： | 女性生存就是与她们所处的生活环境作斗争，从而改善她们的生态环境。但是，缺乏正规教育以及社会地位等生态环境特点决定了女性的生存悲剧，使她们根本无法成为自己生活的主宰者。即使这样，《米德尔马契》中的主人公也保持了积极的生活态度，坚守高尚的情操。
