| 摘 要： | 英国著名翻译理论家彼得·纽马克根据文本功能将翻译文本分为六种类型,虽然德国翻译理论家卡塔琳娜·赖斯将文本分为三种类型,但其分类依据与纽马克相同。纽马克根据不同的侧重点共提出了八种翻译方法,而赖斯提出了三种。两人的翻译方法论的来源分别为＂等效＂论和＂对等＂论,而这两种理论的本质也是相同的。因此,本文通过将纽马克的翻译方法论与赖斯的翻译方法论进行了比较,旨在证明他们虽分属不同的翻译流派,但二人的翻译方法论在本质上是相一致的,或者说是同源、同质、同理、同效的。

| Abstract: | The famous British translating theorist,Peter Newmark,classified the translating texts into six types according to different functions,while the Germany translating theorist,Reiss Katharina,classified into three categories.But they had the same classifying basis.Newmark put forward eight translating methods on the basis of different emphases,while Reiss three methods.The sources of their theories are respectively ＂equivalent theory＂ and ＂equal theory＂ which are the same in essence.The present paper compares Newmark＇s translation methodology with Reiss＇s,and proves that the two are the same in source,nature,reason,and effect. |
