| 摘 要： | 随着世界一体化趋势的加强，英语作为国际语言在我国的社会经济发展中起着越来越重要的作用。语法翻译法是现在大学英语教学一个重要的方法，虽然现在人们更加青睐运用纯英文授课，但是在其施行条件和教学效果的考虑上都存在一定的问题，这也就决定了语法翻译法在我国的英语教学中还有着发展的必要。本文对语法翻译法的内涵进行了阐述，分析了以往语法翻译法存在的问题，并提出了其在公共英语教学中应用的改进措施，以期能够更好地在公共英语教学中应用语法翻译法，促进我国公共英语教学的发展。

On the Application of Grammar Translation to Public English Teaching |

| Abstract: | With the strengthening of world integration, English, as an international language, is playing a more and more important role in China＇s social and economic development. Grammar translation is an important and necessary method in the current college English teaching due to various reasons. This paper inter- prets the connotation of grammar translation, analyzes the existing problems, and proposes improvement measures for its application in public English teaching, hoping to better apply grammar translation to public English teaching and promote the develop- ment of China＇s public English teaching. |
