杜亚泉科学教育思想探析

摘    要:杜亚泉是中国近代科学教育的先驱。他在国内较早认识到科学技术是社会发展的基本动力,怀着科学报国的坚定信念选择教育以培养国民成为“科学的劳动家”,进而弘扬科技与道德相结合的现代文明。为此,他通过各种手段开展科学教育,其科学教育实践活动既重视普及科学知识,又倡导运用科学方法开展科学研究,还倡言科学理性精神,而他以科学素养来评析社会、关注人生,尤为与众不同。杜亚泉科学教育思想对当前的现代化建设具有启迪和借鉴意义。

Abstract:Du Yaquan was a pioneer in modern China science education,and he came to know at an early stage that science and technology are the essential power of social development.With the firm belief "to save the nation with science",he chose education to cultivate scientific laborers and disseminate modern civilization which combines science and technology with morality.To that end,he carried out science education through a variety of means.While maintaining scientific methods in scientific researches and the spirit of science and reason,he put emphasis on popularizing scientific knowledge.Furthermore,he commented and analyzed society and cared about life with his own scientific qualities.Du Yaquan's science education thoughts are of great revelation and inspiration to contemporary construction of modernization.
